    Betty, this brings back so many memories of my childhood. When I was a child, my mother would make a version of this using ground beef. We would ask for it at least once a week. Normally we would ladle it over toasted white bread but sometimes we would experiment and pour it over different things. I remember once putting it on a waffle.

      Stuart it’s all about the memories. This makes me so happy to read. Family is everything and you know good food and family go hand in hand. This dish will always remind me of my mom and grandmother but now also Schmidt, and YOU!!

    This video is making my mouth water! I love the combination of creamy chip beef, perfectly cooked eggs, and toasted Italian bread. The step-by-step instructions are easy to follow, and I appreciate the tips for using different types of milk and adding seasoning. I also love the attention to detail in plating and adding green onions for freshness and color. I can't wait to try this recipe on my Blackstone! Thank you for sharing this delicious recipe with us, Betty!

    I forget where I found it, but I had made dried bee f for chipped beef using the Umai bags. It turned out wonderful. I did it because all I could find around here was the Armour dried beef. It also saved me about $80+/Lb.

      Army used Hamburger, Navy used chipped beef because it doesn't have to be refrigerated, and can sit on a shelf for years, without going bad, in a pinch, I've used beef jerky.

    So……. I just got to watch this late last night, and this morning to review… was wondering how I could “Blackstone” chicken to “parmigiana” condition without air frying (didn’t turn out THAT good cuz of over-“baking” the cheese)… lo and behold, this veal demo came out with the option to do with chicken… just got done slicing chicken to filets…
    So, here’s question over basting domes:
    I don’t have the extra large rectangle one.. but, I have the cover on the culinary model… just to confirm reports and claims, I can make the cover act like a basting dome, correct?
    I get to use the tutti spice for first time!
    Yhanks

    • @drwgisblaidd2650
      @drwgisblaidd2650 Год назад

      Yeah, thing is though, since it's a much larger area you're covering, it'll take longer, to do things like melting cheese, I use the domed lid that came with my wok, another good choice is one of those deep dish pizza pans, and use a spatula to lift it from the edge, or drill it and add a Knob.

    • @Henk_H
      @Henk_H Год назад

      @@drwgisblaidd2650 closing lid, turning off griddle after 30 sec to a minute, then leave closed for about 3 minutes: seems to do the job… cheese melted, bottoms not too extra browned because I put cheese on earlier than the bottoms’ cook accomplishes…
      A suggestion BB made that made me do some time-math calcs and “manipulations”…
      It worked… thanks for your input…
      PS: I already have the round BS dome; it just won’t cover my meat pieces at 6-8 side-by-side….
