When Bresson said that he had the storyboard constructed ahead of time and things all worked out in his head be fore shooting a picture, I wonder if he meant that he had each single shot--a still canvas, if you will--already thought up...or if he simply meant that a general scene had already been constructed in his head but that the individual shots would be left up to the spontaneity of the moment. Great interview.
