8:55 I like how when its right at the resolution, she gets out of her sitting position a little, almost like an angel rising. The climax has so much optimism, so much pride, even after it, she's shaking her head like "damn I'm so into this, I've practiced this thousands of times and still can't get enough of it!"
Very good! I enjoyed her touch and sounds. Please keep up with your work! It would be nice to hear your performance again! Ganbatte kudasai. 無理をしないで、できれば毎日、4時間は練習してください。 健康に気を付けてね。 練習、頑張れ!❣
Wow... Okay, okay. Lemme get this straight. I am a piano student myself, and I know that the Chopin Competition is one of the hardest in the WHOLE WORLD. Many pianists can't even pass the preliminary round! Fei Fei made it to the 1st or 2nd round already. If you think you have the authority to judge her, first try to get past this competition. Also, the tempo change is literally just rubato, and Chopin is known to be a composer whose music requires that element. AND on the sheet music, it SAYS to do rubato, AND has at least 5 ritenuto markings, which means to SLOW DOWN. So, tempo change is VERY necessary in this piece she is playing, when looking plainly at the sheet music. I know this be true because I am LEARNING this piece. I know that music is quite subjective, so everyone has different opinions, but if there isn't anything good to say about her playing here, it's PROBABLY best to keep quiet. Mainly to avoid comments like mine. And hate in general.
Incredible performance, bravo!

Played with great love and respect for the notes. Impeccable technique, fine phrasing and well chosen tempi are the hallmarks of this performance.
