The Touareg battery is found underneath the drivers side seat. This is a very unorthodox location, and you might need some help finding it, and replacing it. In this video we show you how to remove the seat and replace the VW Touareg battery.

One of those most insane designs ever. More than half of the Toerags came with a can of tyre slime instead of a spare in the back anyway. They seriously could not have done the normal German thing and put it in the boot.
I followed your instruction and successfully replace my 2013 Touareg battery, from existing H8 to H7 without any issues. FYI we don't need disconnect seat wire.

I have a touareg 2015 3.6 V6 FSI 。what's the spec of the battarry? is it the same as the one in the video? I searched the spec. by the PR number. it should be 92 AH(520A)
5:30 - это на фотке, кстати, не серийный номер, это скорее как номер самого АКБ. Т.е. он на всех Varta H15 одинаковый, потому в следующий раз всё-равно придётся вписывать что-то другое туда :)
Это не существенно,можно и родной номер вписать) а можно и цифру изменить.
@@t7p_club лучше новое значение ввести, иначе система управления акб будет думать, что стоит старый и может подушатать новую слишком большим током

спасибо за видео , простите только не догоняю AGM это для машин с функцией стар стоп или для всех? у меня заводится брелком , нф 3.6 12 год .
Если старт/стоп, то обязательно АГМ. Для всех,лучше АГМ)
@@t7p_club спасибо большое , я просто экспердов начитался на драйве пишут если нет старт стоп аккум с такой системой долго не проживёт .
Я как бы не профи по электрике,но у 90% авто эта функция отключена
Летом поменял родной АКБ 110Ач на Moll (EFB technology) 95Ач и забыл его прописать. Интересно, большой ущерб емкости я нанес за пол года НЕ прописав новый АКБ?

Which code for Bosch AGM battery? Varta has VAO but for Bosch I don’t know which value have to be written. I have start/stop. Is there anything else to be done??Thanks
If the code is unknown, it is enough to increase one digit of the factory no. 111111......

By saying "correct current strength", did you mean the most important thing is to register the new Ah number ? @@t7p_club If I plan to replace the old battery (Varta 110 Ah) with the one from dealer that has exactly same specs (Varta 110 Ah), do I still need to do programming ? I saw a previous comment from JOHN1981 said he replaced a 105 Ah battery with 95 Ah and caused a damage in life of battery. Appreciate your help.

На новом аккумуляторе вставили колпачок с заглушки клеммы сбоку аккума, это для чего?
С одной стороны трубка вентиляции,с другой заглушка
