Well done. I already have rock sliders for my Tacoma from Jason Hugh at Crusin Off Road here in B.C. I still need other under body armour and I'm leaning towards Greenlane. Support local!
I'm going to be ordering these soon for a Tacoma, but wanted them even back in my 4R days. Can you share your thoughts on the 12.5 degree vs flat? Looks like yours are the angled version, and you're primary purpose was kids. Will be same for me, 99% step duty for young kids, and the now and then off road "oops". Do you think the angle is good, any regrets or consideration for going flat?
That’s awesome! I personally like the look of the 12.5° over the 0. I prefer them to be more tucked away rather than “sticking out”. The kids both get in totally fine with it angled, as it’s not a super aggressive angle. So I guess it really comes down to what look you like better. Either an actually step or more “offroad” sleek style.
Not a single one, they have been great! And they stick out enough for a great side step and the kick out isn’t obnoxious. Just nice and settle to help push your vehicle around obstacles. Doesn’t stick out more that your side mirrors.
Thanks! And I’d say around an hour or so, the drivers side takes the longest because of everything you have to take off. Once you get to the passenger side it’s a breeze!
Please bump down the music volume to match the sound of your voice. Nothing is as annoying as waking the wife up with the bumper music before and after a video. An easy way to turn off a viewer. If you create your own standard opening video, keep it short, on point.
Yes this was more than a year ago. I have done a lot of learning from when I first started making videos to now. Major differences now than in the past.
Liked what we saw so much, I bought 2 sets. One for our 2021 and another for our 2022 4Runner.
Those are clean and look terrific on your runner. Good job
Thank you so much!
I love mine!!
I also have a white 4Runner 2021 TRD ORP. With black rims

Definitely do! Their work is amazing from the welds to powder coat. Local is definitely the way to go😄
look at RCI located in Colorado. serious protection, don`t get aluminum.
If you want to go steel, go to Arc 1 Industries for local☺️
Canadian, subscribed, and looking forward to many more videos.
Thank you so much! Love the support from fellow Canadians🤗
Im glad i found your video Aluminum is the best way to go period. How are you liking them now?
Definitely! I am still very happy with them, definitely wouldn’t go any other way☺️
@@heradventurelife And with steel they will definitely Rust period.

Thank you! And that’s awesome, good choice😉
Greenlane says pre-tapping the holes is optional/recommended. Did you tap the frame holes first?
looking good! I am considering these for my forerunner as well. Thanks for the video. Subscribed.
No problem! You definitely can’t go wrong with Greenlane. And thank you, I appreciate that!!
Thanks for the video. Definitely want to get a set of these now that I see how easy they are to install. 👍
You’re welcome! You definitely won’t be disappointed, Greenlane is an awesome company!
Hi... great video. did you go with the 12.5 degree angle or are these flat. They look great! I like the fact they will never rust :)
These are the 12.5°☺️ and yes! One of the good things about going with aluminum
Thank you for sharing
Nice video. How are the Aluminum Sliders holding out? Thank you.
Thank you! And they are holding up great, no complaints
I didn’t even think about the weight thing. Aluminum might be the way to go for my wife’s 4R

Are these holding up well and would you buy again ?
They sure are! I would definitely buy again
nice job!!!
Thank you!!🙌🏼
Nice work 👍 love your 4Runner. any discount code On this product?
Awesome. I like the aluminum option. Do u have an ig acct.
Definitely a great option for those who aren’t hard core off-roaders. And I do! @heradventurelife
Any issue with the sliders since install? As a step how far do they stick out at the kick out and front doors?
Not a single one, they have been great! And they stick out enough for a great side step and the kick out isn’t obnoxious. Just nice and settle to help push your vehicle around obstacles. Doesn’t stick out more that your side mirrors.
Same step for non kdss runners? Thanks!
They have different options for KDSS/non KDSS
Did you get the flat sliders or the angled sliders? I’m not a hardcore off roaster with my brand new 2021, but would like some oops protection
I got the angled ones☺️ I like the look of it better then the flat ones “sticking out”
Do you find the angle sliders still work good as step? Can you actually use the step plate or are you stepping just on the tube?
Absolutely! You can still step on the plate. It’s not an aggressive angle, it’s only 12.5°, so still able to function as a full step
Do you oil spray the frame every year? Curious bout the state of the frame on the vid.
I actually haven’t sprayed it before, but thinking about doing it this year
Is your KDSS 4Runner lifted? I have one and have read lots of opinions on whether to lift one with KDSS or not. Thanks!
Yup! You can lift a KDSS 4Runner 3” with no issues
@@heradventurelife Yours is 3" lift? Did you replace the UCA??
@@scorpion2669 yes, I have SPC ucas
Be great if you did a walk around video of your 4runner showing what you’ve added to it, great looking 4 runner you have
Thank you! I definitely will😄

Thanks! And I’d say around an hour or so, the drivers side takes the longest because of everything you have to take off. Once you get to the passenger side it’s a breeze!
