I agree 100%. Before Myles Kennedy became well known, Chris Cornell was the greatest rock singer to live. Kennedy has done a fantastic job of taking Cornell's place. I wonder how it would sound if Kennedy played with the guys from Soundgarden.
Nearing the end of 2023, and this song is still as epic as the day it was released. This music gets me out of whatever funk I feel myself going into. Music is my therapy, my escape, my reality, and without it I wouldn't feel whole. Sure there is more to the world than that but just a piece of me would be missing without a masterpiece such as this.

Try seeing how long is their typical tour schedule. This guys can go that much on the road because they're the 2000's/2010's stone temple pilots.

Same time a friend died while serving as a navy corpsman in Fallujah...he's a hero to a little girl he and his group rescued and escorted out to get a life saving surgery in America. Hard funeral to barely be able to attend without crying
I just bought tickets to Alter Bridge, August 2023. It's been so long since I listened to them. I put this song on and it made me tear up, it still MOVES me...their music is spiritual to me. I'm PUMPED!
This song is tugging on every emotional string that I have. I'm currently going through a "break" from the love of my life. And she doesn't know if it's going to be permanent or not. She was dealing with the demons that haunted her from her previous relationship. What we had was truly beautiful but the emotions were too much for her. I want to reach out so badly to help but she needs time to herself. I broke that boundary once and I feel terrible about it. Only time will tell and I just have to keep moving. But the waiting game is going to be my biggest obstacle. When I heard this song, I bursted into tears. Never has a song spoken to me as much as this one.

This is the song that made me realise I love Alter Bridge. My brother got me into Alter Bridge with the Metalingus track, but when I heard this, it was something else entirely. Several years down the line, my partner and I had a son and I got to choose what to call him. So I called him Myles.
Everything about this song is great. Brian Marshall doesn't get enough credit, he's an incredible bassist. The bass lines in this are awesome.

Chin up my dude, it may take a while but you can get through it, been dealing with social anxiety and depression since I was about 9-10 ( the joy’s of being the kid everyone picked on) one thing that has helped me is having a hobby (or 3 because why not) for me skateboarding (which has slowly helped my social anxiety, I still hate being around too many people though) working on car’s and setting up aquarium’s and pond’s (which can be extremely relaxing, I’ll normally spend most afternoons just sitting by the pond and have a few drinks with some nice music to chill to) anyway moral of my story/rant is there is hope for the future

Fernando C I recently learned that Kennedy was a guitar instructor and even Tremonti took music lessons from him and that both guitarists contribute parts to the music instead of one guy doing all the work. I have more respect for Kennedy. I love that intro riff to 'Cry of Achilles'. Kennedy wrote that.
+Kyle Reece initially Tremonti hired Myles to be just the singer but he found out about Myles' guitar skills and ribbed him for it (Mark is a tremendous guitar nerd) and since then they have been writing the songs together.

In my opinion, Alter Bridge emerged in the music scene after the peak of rock music. Their arrival brought a refreshing change to the industry, as many rock and metal bands were nearing the end of their careers at that time.

Alter Bridge are my favourite band, and are absolutely incredible live. Myles Kennedy has such a beautiful voice and it's so unique. I genuinely have never heard anyone like them before.

I had depresion, many years ago. The anxiety is always there....Somehow I managed to live with it. It's not easy, and sometimes those around you, don't help, but I'm stronger and make it.

Chin up my dude, it may take a while but you can get through it, been dealing with social anxiety and depression since I was about 9-10 ( the joy’s of being the kid everyone picked on) one thing that has helped me is having a hobby (or 3 because why not) for me skateboarding (which has slowly helped my social anxiety, I still hate being around too many people though) working on car’s and setting up aquarium’s and pond’s (which can be extremely relaxing, I’ll normally spend most afternoons just sitting by the pond and have a few drinks with some nice music to chill to) anyway moral of my story/rant is there is hope for the future

Holy freakin Hannah, it's been ten years and I finally found this song again. Heard it forever ago and the melody stuck in my head for a decade and this little bit of his voice would echo in my mind. Hallelujah am I happy to find this song.

2004, when this song is release.. im now at my 40, but still it brings me the vibes.
This song has brought me through some hardest times in my life. It was released just a few years after my father's passing as I was still nursing the wound. I remember the first time I heard it on MTV, the music video that is... it got stuck in my head. I managed to find the CD a few weeks after and it has always been a part of me since. Thanks Alter Bridge... much love from Papua New Guinea.

Wow, has a lot of Creed's formula here. It's amazing how they changed in 2007 and found their own style with Blackbird. What do you expect with Tremonti in your band? The guy is boss.
+Kyle Reece Kennedy had more creative freedom in Blackbird and the albums that came after, the first album was written mostly by Tremonti and Philips.
Fernando C I recently learned that Kennedy was a guitar instructor and even Tremonti took music lessons from him and that both guitarists contribute parts to the music instead of one guy doing all the work. I have more respect for Kennedy. I love that intro riff to 'Cry of Achilles'. Kennedy wrote that.
+Kyle Reece initially Tremonti hired Myles to be just the singer but he found out about Myles' guitar skills and ribbed him for it (Mark is a tremendous guitar nerd) and since then they have been writing the songs together.

In my opinion, Alter Bridge emerged in the music scene after the peak of rock music. Their arrival brought a refreshing change to the industry, as many rock and metal bands were nearing the end of their careers at that time.
Found it almost after 14 years since graduation! Completely forgot the name just remembered the tune. Opened the old hard drive and found it saved on corner. Happy me :-)

Alter Bridge are my favourite band, and are absolutely incredible live. Myles Kennedy has such a beautiful voice and it's so unique. I genuinely have never heard anyone like them before.
