One tip I have for authentic sinitea/tcha hunters is, that if you haven't encountered the authentic form yet, the outbreak will appear as "?" on your map. Source: Own experience, I had a complete Kitakami Dex and got a ?-Outbreak which consisted of authentic sinistcha.
This way you can easily identify phony from authentic ones without even going to the outbreak.
Oh my god I’m such a dumbass then. I literally had one of those and then since I didn’t realize they were authentic since the difference is actually unfair, I didn’t catch a single one and ran away.
That’s a great way of hunting! I’ve never been too into catching all the rarest forms but at least I know what that potential outbreak could be, I wonder if this will apply to regular old Sinestea back in Paldea?
You are a G, thank you!
You just saved me a bunch of trouble. Thank you. I would've probably check every single Polchageist outbreak I had and wonder why I wasn't seeing the artisan form. It would be because I haven't registered it yet.
Can also confirm, as someone who experienced this, too. Already had the dex entry, but had the ? on the map
Tip: you don't have to move the date at all. just open it up and hit A all the way through. It may not work the first time if you do it too fast, but you can have the outbreaks reset without changing the time. This will keep your sandwich power!
This is what I do, it's so much easier
changing the date has no affect on your sandwich power anyway
I just hit "OK" with my finger or stylus no need for A spam
@@BradleyHeatit changes the mass outbreaks? Lol
@@Benzinilinguine... thats what we were trying to do?
2 things I want to point out:
1. Before they fixed the mass outbreak “default form” bug, deerling and sawsbuck outbreaks still worked properly. That’s because the game couldn’t force a form to spawn if it’s otherwise incapable of spawning there normally. Because their forms are biome dependent, only one form can spawn in a given area, even if there’s an outbreak, whereas with tatsugiri, skwakabilly, etc, any form could spawn anywhere, so the game always made the choice to spawn the default form. It’s the same reason vivillon outbreaks didn’t defeat to the green (fancy?) pattern when you sent a postcard to your game.
2. A slightly faster way to refresh the outbreaks is to not even roll the minute back. Literally just open the clock settings like you’re going to change the time, don’t change anything, and press OK. I think this is because whenever you set the time, it will always change it to exactly whatever time you put without any extra seconds, but since the actual time will always be the displayed time + some extra seconds not displayed, you still technically are moving the time back a little bit so the time change triggers the outbreak reset.
You don't even have to complete the main story to do the DLC the minute you start doing the treasure hunt and get where your box starters. Riding Pokemon it automatically before you even leave the front gate you can do the DLC
@@mulitimatemasters Interesting as my main game is Violet and have gotten up to that point with my Scarlet version when given the 3 story lines and ride Pokemon to go for the Scarlet exclusives for the Dex in Kitikami (have also bought the DLC for Scarlet) and haven't yet received the phone call from Jacq yet
i looked back at old footage and youre right about sawsbuck. i'm trimming that line out.
I think the only other outbreaks that worked in this way were Lycanroc outbreaks, as they were determined by time of day and slightly by location, as well as Oricorio, which also has locations differences in spawning.
As long as the form change, prior to the update, was slightly location based, it'd spawn that altered form.
One thing I noticed is that there is more variety in what Pokemon appear in mass outbreaks. Before I had Flittle outbreaks every. Single. Day.
I haven't gotten it since the update and I couldn't be happier
I noticed this too. I've seen several mons that I never ever saw previously, like Arcanine.
For real, every single day it was like “here’s a Flittle, here’s a Tadbulb, here’s a Marill” and it was almost never anything interesting even after trying to reroll them multiple times
I got Rufflet a lot
Fr, i've been looking for information about this but haven't found anything
after successfully hunting two artisan and two counterfeit shinies yesterday i have one bit of advice: once you get the outbreak you want, go for humungo power instead of encounter power. my encounter power was making non outbreak poltchageist (counterfeit) spawn in and i actually found a shiny counterfeit while i had my artisan outbreak active. plus it makes them bigger and easier to spot
What recipe do you use to make it Humungo instead of encounter power?
@@Regigigas-ny2rd one red onion, one salt, and two spicy herba mystica is what i used
There's a versatile for Humongo if you dont have a lot of spicy:
*[Type ingredient]
Curry Powder
Spicy Herba
Bitter/Spicy/Salty Herba*
I'm pretty sure red onions are for ghost but I would recomment checking beforehand
PS: I'm a size hunter so this is bread n butter
@@squeakymeowanything for teeny electric and psychic/fairy? Been trying to get small sandy shocks and scream tail
@@SilvaShadow1990 you can always use the calulator cecilbowen.github.io/pokemon-sandwich-simulator/
I’ve noticed a change overall with spawns when using sandwiches, for example when using a Lvl 2 Normal Sandwich to spawn Chansey for EV training I rarely saw a Blissey spawn, often days in between spawns but since the update the Blissey are consistently spawning at roughly 1 for every 5 Chansey.
Same, I did a steel shiny power and 90% of my spawns were bisharps instead of the little guy ( I still got the little one in shiny first ) but it was weird there appeared to be a bigger boost to the middle evo. It also made it extra long to evolve cause almost no bisharps were in their groups
Vikavolt is my new Let's Go favorite, because it's fast, starts farther away, and is really good at hunting down Pokemon that other Let's Go ones would ignore.
Don't they all work the same way, but with different strengths and appearances? Also, I know what the pokedex says, but isn't Vikavolt really slow in battle.
@@neelwu6061 he means in autobattle
Hey Austin, Shiny Feebas is super easy to get with lvl 3 water sandwich, there’s a spot in the cave where you can force spawn up to 13 mons of barboach/Feebas (I’ve seen up to 3 Feebas) I got my shiny Feebas in 15 minutes last night. When you enter the cave go to the left side right in the middle and sit against the wall while the mons spawn on the right side of the cave.
It could just be me, but with the update, it also seems like the number and variety of outbreaks has increased as well. Prior to the update, outbreaks for me would rotate with we'll say 4 out of 6 being relatively standard, all the time. Post update, I'm seeing a huge increase not just in Kitakami but in Paldea as well and multiple of outbreaks I've never seen before. I'm curious to know if that stuck default option may have been affecting other outbreaks as well, limiting the options. Great video!
Same! I'm getting so many cooler outbreaks now
I’m also noticing this, I’ve seen multiple gengar outbreaks, a kingambit outbreak, and a gallade outbreak so far
same. the very day the updated had installed, I got a Glaceon Outbreak, which I'd never seen before.
FYI here's the full list of previously impossible outbreaks that are now possible due to the bug fix: Tauros (Aqua/Blaze Breed), Basculin (Blue-Striped), Flabébé/Floette/Florges (Yellow/Orange/Blue/White Flower), Rockruff (Own Tempo), Toxtricity (Low Key), Sinistea (Antique), Indeedee (Female), Oinkologne (Female), Squawkabilly (Blue/Yellow/White Plumage), and Tatsugiri (Droopy/Stretchy). Sadly, Three-Segment Dudunsparce outbreaks still aren't possible, as wild Dudunsparce is always Two-Segment.
Also, you mentioned Deerling and Sawsbuck, but they actually weren't affected by the bug since it actually chose the first form in that location's spawn table and not the default form. East Sea Gastrodon, Combat Breed Tauros, Paldean Wooper outbreaks were unaffected for the same reason, as were Lycanroc outbreaks (which cycle through all 3 forms at the appropriate time regardless of which form the outbreak is for).
having the tauros forms possible as an outbreak is a life saver
Idk if flabebe outbreaks exist at all though. Serebii says they do but, at least before this update, I never found any myself or any proof of it existing online
I wonder if Tandemaus forms are considered different for what they'll evolve into, like a tandemaus outbreak would always evolve into a 3 Maushold instead of 4. Since abilities are outbreak dependent (rockruff with owntempo) that'd be something to investigate if they always evolve into one form or another in an outbreak, same with dudunsparce. Though I'm not sure if Tandemaus and dunsparce have outbreaks.
@@HydreigonLillipupOwn Tempo rockruff is essentially an alternate forme. For example you can't use ability pill/patches to change a non own tempo into an own tempo
@@HydreigonLillipupim also wondering that, if they keep a different value based on if they will evolve in the 3 or the 4 family form, then they technically are a different mon, so they should have their own outbreaks, and they also should be 50/50 (just like sinistcha)
Unfortunately we still don't have info on that since the dlc has just dropped
Hope to hear good news soon tho
I’m so glad they fixed the form outbreak bug, it makes shiny hunting specific forms much easier like Tatsugiri and Squakabilly
This is great! I can finally reliably get all shiny tatsugiri, I already have a shiny droopy form, (The best one) through dragon encounter 2, random encounters, and now I can reliably get the others. Thanks for putting this out there!
You don't have to actually change the time, you can just go to date and time, and hit OK, without changing anything, it'll still change the outbreaks.
hopefully in part 2 of the dlc they make it easier to go through sandwhiches, like TM's where you can cycle through types, encounter power and ingredients or something
Minor thing regarding the list on how to perform the hunt at 6:11: The second pop-up mentioned on item 7 actually, based on my time with doing outbreak hunts, only means you've knocked out about 48 of the Pokemon at the outbreak. Having knocked out 60 mons will occur between the second and third pop-up. So if you want best odds consistently, without needing to count manually, its better to wait for that pop-up.
i’ve heard that the second one is 50 and to faint 10 more after that
@@ChefBoyArti it seems to vary between raids, it's a fraction of the total pokemon you can knock out before the outbreak ends (25% intervals maybe?). I usually end up between 25 and 30 for first message (50 and 60 for second), but I've gotten them as early as 23 and 46.
Hey austin, something new i noticed was I used an encounter power normal in the chansey area, and way more blissey was spawning than usual. And also, I used the multiplayer sparkling sandwiches with the old recipes, and they didnt give encounter and sparkling, it was usually just sparkling, title and another random one.
It might be helpful to use a sandwich with Humungo 3 rather than Encounter 3 for Sinischa. Red Onion, Salt and two Spicy Herbas (may be able to use other types). Encounter 3 won't make much of a difference for outbreaks, but Humungo might make the Sinischa a bit more visible.
I do wish the framerate issues could have had some updates done to it :/
Seems like it got worse with this update 😕
Thanks for the tips as always!
I was going to hunt for a shiny feebas until I remembered that I had one in pokemon go xD I evolved it to Milotic and traded it over. The model for it looks fantastic, the gold tail actually looks gold and you can see individual scales. They did a good job on it imo. Thanks for the video Austin! Going to use it to hunt for a shiny applin. Wanna get a gold dipplin so I can name it Dripplin xD
Austin!! THANK YOU! I JUST got my shiny applin using your method! Also happened to get a shiny luxray to spawn through a mass outbreak while trying to roll back the time for a applin outbreak to spawn. Thanks a ton for this. So much better than going through apple hills a bunch of times lol
just spent spent 1 hour resetting for Feebas outbreak and another 3 hours seeing roughly 700 of them so hope this helps 😂
Im doing eggs for feebas instead may take longer but I had no luck with getting feebas outbreak
So are there feebas outbreaks ? Cuz I really want one 😢
@@israelcaro5036 yes but they are really really rare
Im trying so hard but
@@UmbraStarWolf took me a day to get mine from eggs. they hatch pretty quickly so not too bad of a session.
This is the greatest news I could have heard for my living shiny form dex. I am dropping everything and doing this right now!
Austin you can also use a Hisuian Decidueye with the hidden ability Scrappy, which will allow you to false swipe Ghost types without having to use Soak first. Pangoro can also know False Swipe and the ability Scrappy but sadly isn't coming back from what I've seen.
If it wasn't broke af blood moon ursaluna too with its ability to hit ghosts
Another advantage I can think of for Shiny hunting is Florges (and its pre-evos, if you're not me and actually like to squint at specks on your screen). Before you could only get red flowers in outbreaks - now it sounds like you can get any you want so long as you get the right flower outbreak to show up.
Thank you for talking about the lag and outbreak bugs I had a lot of issues with this and I haven’t seen anyone else talking about it
Hi Austin! I actually commented about this when I had a Mass outbreak with poltchageist in your video for hunting the dlc Pokémon. 3/4 of the poltchageist I encountered were authentic!
MASTERPIECE TEACUP LOCATIONS!
Don’t know if anyone else has mentioned where to find them yet, but I found two more so far:
1. A little cave near the third signpost in Paradise Barrens
2. A little cave on Oni Mountain, following a strip of path next to Paradise Barrens
about that glitch with the raids, if you zoom out to the full map and back in, it will do the same as colosing/opening the map
Makes so much sense I was resetting for a certain outbreak and all of them kept disappearing. Thanks for the video!
Thank you for all the work you do, digging and grinding to get this info. I've always wondered, is there a place I can listen to your theme song in full? I always sing along to the ending of your videos.
Btw, something I started incorporating into all my shiny hunts, using trick on a gallade/iron valiant holding ring target allows the usage of moves the pokemon would normally be immune to.
This way you don't need two shiny hunting mons.
When it came to the map lag, I found that simple closing the map before changing the time does not cause lag, though it’s an extra button press or two but enough to inconvenience me while hunting.
When I hunted my authentic sinistcha, I used Gholdengo. Good as Gold doesn't allow them to use Memento. Hope this helps.😁
Hey Austin, just a heads up, Anubis confirmed that those that use encryption constants to determine their forms (Maushold, Dundunsparce) won't get 1:1 outbreaks like Sinistea/tcha.
It’s because those technically aren’t forms if they’re using the encryption constant in that way. It’s a similar case for Wurmple
Was trying the Cutiefly mass outbreak and it’s main cons are this. One the Pokémon is small and tiny plus it actively runs from you. So you have to get close to see if one is pink not yellow which can be hard. Two…you can only hunt it while it’s still daytime in the game. So getting to that 60 defeated takes time from while it’s day. You have to keep that in mind when you decide to put down a sandwich with your herbs. Because you can be 10mins in then all of a sudden their gone and you got the pair of fireflies instead.
I was actually wondering about this during my poltchageist outbreak. Ended up with three shiny counterfeits within ten minutes of each other after several hours of hunting. This makes things so much easier, thanks for the update!
Edit: Just remembered, this also affects gendered forms! I got an outbreak of only female oinkologne, so be aware of that.
i know the oinks were affected when i had only specific genders show up for me before
Another tip that might save some time is to catch all the available Pokemon in that area. If the outbreak is for the alternative form it’ll be the ‘question mark’ outbreak symbol (as you don’t have that form in the dex). Might save a little time from checking/catching
Thanks bro! Got back into this game myself since dlc
That's a great update! I got myself two Polchageist with sandwiches next to the path with the bamboo,
but now knowing the new information about outbreaks, I think I'll have to go try get two more - now the artisan forms!
Good luck everyone!
Tip: if you throw your lead pokemon at a target from behind like you might in PLA to critically catch a pokemon, then you catch the target off-guard. This makes it forfeit its first turn (very useful against Memento users) and DOUBLES your catch rates (also excellent for dealing with annoying-to-catch types).
Note that Poltchageist is Grass & Ghost, so Spore and False Swipe will both fail in its default typing.
Guys very helpful tip!!
I found already 2 of them in the same outbreak the artisan form. When you knock out 60 and then make your sandwich don't start to kill them. Just search in the area for the shiny and if you don't find it just open the picnic and the close it, this helps you to respawn new pokemon in this area. This way I already found 2 shiny in the same outbreak in about 20 mins.
Good luck guys for the ✨️ one
There's one more spot for poltchageist to spawn that I found really useful shiny hunting - there's a copse of bamboo basically right on the opposite side of reveler's road from the first place you mentioned. I had really good spawns there with encounter power up!
Shout out austin for always knowing what questions I have. We appreciate you king
Tip: Hisuian Decidueye has Scrappy as its HA. This lets you use False Swipe on Ghost types.
Yeah but it has Memento so should uses Taunt on Decidueye the Huge problem is switching if you wanna sleep the Pokemon or Changing the Type Soak Taunt last it 3 turn after you switch
@@leafgreen20cruz Gallade can somewhat control it- memento, imprison, false swipe, hypnosis. You'd need to do some maneuvering, probably open with something that can do sleep + soak (so it cannot use memento on the switch turn), then swap to gallade and immediately imprison so it cannot memento if it wakes up right away, then false swipe before soak is gone.
This is pure theory - I haven't tried it- but I might build this just to see if it can operate.
@@Zoreta that a good Idea
But Quest How Imprison works?
Because I uses Imprison and still he uses Memento to faint it my missing something?
I ended up using Samurott he can Learn Soak, False Swipe, Encore, Taunt this move Strat work perfect
@@leafgreen20cruz imprison stops an opponent from using the moves you both have- so it would only block memento if the pokemon using imprison also has memento in their moveset. A handful of pokemon can- chandelure for instance- but chandelure doesn't get sleep or false swipe.
It was my first shiny in the DLC, and I didnt even use an outbreak. I just boosted spawns in the bamboo and got really lucky within 20 minutes. I was absolutely FLOORED when I saw I got Artisan. Floored.
Something interesting: today I was checking my outbreaks, and there was one with a question mark. I have both pokedexes complete. For some reason, the poltchageist outbreak still showed up as ? Instead of polchageist. I definitely have it already.
Edit: just checked, it is an artisan outbreak. Didn’t reset or anything. Let’s go.
Thanks to this update I finally caught an authentic, shiny Sinistea in a Love Ball! Thanks Austin John for the info!
A tip for smol Pokemon shiny hunters is there is a Zoom feature in the Switch's Settings under System.
I love the new mass outbreaks a lot better than the older one😊
If you’re looking for a feebas (not sure if you mean an outbreak) but they tend to spawn and hang out below the water level, and since they flee it can be super difficult, this is of course if you looked up the spawn location on RUclips
Hey Austin, thanks for the tip! Because of you and a good number of people in the comment section, I was able to get my hands on 2 shiny artisan Poltchageist you've earned a subscribe just for that, my guy!
Tip: use humongo power rather than encounter power, makes them slightly bigger to see and encounter power seems to spawn a lot of Pokémon not in outbreak due to the area being so small
I've recently switched to not having the map menus open when date skipping, it still updates raids and outbreaks on the map as it should
You can *Taunt* to easily prevent Memento.
You can also re-up *Taunt* through the sleep status.
Thank you very kindly 🙏
The other night I was having an issue where my pokémon were just freezing up after auto battling one or two pokémon. The model would still move but they'd be stuck in one spot and unable to battle unless I switch them out or whistled but that would only get them to move. They'd freeze again if I tried to auto battle with them.
I had this problem too. The way I fixed it was to move that pokemon to another spot in my party and then move them back.
A lot of people don't know this but you don't have to zoom in on their butts anymore.
When you catch them thr pokedex data that appears just tells you what form it is, so dont spam the a button after you catch it
I'm suprised you didn't mention a change in the way outbreaks are selected. As soon as the DLC was live I noticed a HUGE difference in the types of pokemon I got in outbreaks - as though they'd done something to make it so that flittle and rufflet were no longer 80% of the pool. Overall it feels like it's selecting from all the available pokemon much more evenly instead of clearly favoring some over others, I'm seeing outbreaks I'd never seen before every single day.
Your videos are always so helpful. Thanks for letting us know when something changes.
One thing I noticed, Im not sure if this is a change or not though, is that Mass Outbreaks while playing in a Union group last *significantly* longer than they do in single player.
We had a Hoothoot outbreak and I spent well over an hour knocking them out, had multiple shinies spawn, and the Outbreak was still going. In SP Outbreaks usually only last 15 minutes before they end on me.
This is also helpful for guaranteeing shinies of different forms for pokemon like Flabebe!
Hey there!
A tip I have for "resetting the mass outbreaks" is, that you actually don't even need to change the time!
Just go into the "settings", into date and time as usual and then just press OK when changing it!
It will reset the mass outbreaks, even if technically it is still the same time!
A lot more efficient then going the extra step sometimes
This method can also work with the Flebebe line, which is also now fixed for outbreaks
i noticed from the second i uploaded the DLC, i was getting mass outbreaks for Pokemon i had never gotten in the Paldean map, like komala, ursaring, and ditto....i'm still hoping for tinkatink and cetoddle outbreaks, but i have hope they will show up....i knew some pokemon, if not outright locked in the original game then so rare you never saw them....like nacli, charcadet, and sandile
I managed to find a mass outbreak of Artisan Polchageist fairly fast. I was happy to find it because it makes my life so much easier. Also you don't have to skip a day you can just go into date and time and exit and it will change outbreaks and tera raids.
Thank you for the information
Just a tip you can also just zoom out and zoom in on the map to make the mass outbreaks to appear.
Could more evo items be available from the auctions at porto marinada? That's how you get more pots for regular sinistea and polteageist after all
This update is very similar to the update we received for PLA introducing MMO (MASSIVE MASS OUTBREAKS)
Fun story,
On September 10th, (before the teal mask update) I wanted to hunt down a shiny sandyghast and the moment I finished the ground sparkling 3 sandwich, A shiny sandyghast just showed up next to me.
I also got one on September 10th!!
If you don't mind telling, where did you hunt for them?
@@madvexed5644 The beach near Iono's Gym, why?
A while ago, I was shiny hunting for Tarountula in Poco Path (no shiny charm, sandwich was used) and ended up getting a full-odds Hoppip with the Dawn mark instead.
This was before the first part of the Hidden Treasure of Area Zero was released, probably some time during January this year, over a month before the DLC was revealed.
Also, I'm pretty sure almost nobody refers to the entire DLC by its actual name (The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero), and always calls it the "Teal Mask DLC" or "Indigo Disk DLC".
@Inkytounge Just so I know a potential spot to go to attempt to hunt for one
I got a masterful teacup outside of the hard mode of ogre ousting, it was either attempting normal or clearing easy (not unlocked hard). I hope that helps
This channel is so helpful any Pokémon stuff I got stuck on Austin John is my go to channel heck even with some non Pokémon stuff
Tip: You can callback your Pokémon before they reach the target while autobattling. If they begin a running animation then it’s not shiny. Your auto battle mon will not take a single step if it’s shiny.
If your fast enough/have enough space/a slow Pokémon. You can check the shininess without koing any outbreak mons , making your remaining 30- 100 Pokémon last for dramatically more resets (of course you’ll still need to despawn them)
*found this out while hunting for Shellos, saves precious seconds, but you have to remember which ones you checked already.
Austin can we expect a video for easy isolated encounter hunts like the Scarlet and Violet video?
I'm not sure if Austin will be covering that, but I know his friend PhillyBeatzU has a couple of them up
Oh yeah I wanna let people know about a bug that might make this annoying, now I don't know what caused this but a wild terra Vulpix, didn't have the glow at all. So that bug could happen to you and get your hopes up if it is easy to accidentally cause.
You can double click the right stick to zoom out twice
Lycanroc also started having mass outbreak with all 3 respective form!
When I'm date/time skipping for mass outbreaks, I like to now close my map before I do the date/time shifting. That way I wouldn't encounter any issues with missing/incorrect outbreaks
I actually shiny hunted for an authentic sinistea before the outbreak got fixed. I could only use shining power and run around alfronada for it. The very first shiny sinistea I saw was an authentic one and I very much panicked saved. I thought I lost it too because it zoomed out of my view as soon as I saw it. Thankfully, I did catch it. It's not a 1 in 400k full odds but still an insane 1 in 68k odds.
With the outbreak big fixed, You can now easily roll for a specific flabebe form you want as well as for a specific tatsugiri or indeedee forms. You can also roll for a squakabilly form. I had to hunt for them the semi-hard way with sandwiches but now, people don't have to worry about getting tons of dupes.
Oh my there were changes?? I am way too busy playing another game right now, so I only did the opening seconds of the DLC but thanks again, Austin.❤
I actually discovered/did this Artisan outbreak the second day after I got the DLC (upon turning on the game). 😅
But I told some channels and only one responded positively. The others didn't believed me. Lol.
Hilariously, this means the Authentic Sinistea line will not be as rare too, right? I'm just glad that I can fill my Shiny Flabebe lines easier now. Previously, the outbreak always reverted to the default Red Flower. Now I can just isolate the specific color. 😌
Also a completely different point: this update made it so forms other than form 0 could spawn in outbreaks. By my understanding, dunsparce has 2 different forms: form 0 which evolves into 2 segment dudunsparce, and form 1 which evolves into 3 segment dudunsparce. Does this mean that there are now outbreaks of dunsparce that only evolve into 3 segment dudunsparce? (Everything I said also applies to tandemaus I think)
I'm also wondering that
Austin the printer in Blueberry Academy has a 0.5% to print a Masterpiece Teacup in the standard list. Thanks for the info. Makes it a lot easier to catch an authentic pokemon now.
I found a Masterwork Teacup in a cave, there was a small land spot along the side of an underground river. I don't remember the exact location, but that's where I found mine.
You not strapped with that jet ball no more 😅
You mentioned in a previous video that there's a static milotic encounter to the east of fellhorn gorge, is there a specific spot where it spawns? I've done a few rounds and can't find it, wondering if it's a "post-game" only type thing
I wanted to shiny hunt for this guy and the very first one I found was a masterwork polchageist. Definitely an awesome surprise for me
Just got two thank you! One marked one not both artisan it was a lot of resets and hours even after finding the right outbreak but well worth it thank you! Also I did use shiny sandwich with humungo power!
Hey Austin! Thanks for making my day just that lil bit better!
You didnt even fully watch the video 🧠🤏
@@user_0299but him posting made them happy
Yeah I also like Austin john’s explanations he’s pretty great for the Pokémon community.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who noticed the changed. I'm convinced the outbreak spawning was buggy from release. I've already gotten some shiny Pokemon after the patch that I would never have gotten otherwise. This is a fantastic change.
If you are Hunting Shiny Sinistea/Sinischa, i HIGHLY recommend using a Gallade with the moves Imprison, Memento, Hypnosis and Night Shade.
Night Shade does fixed damage depending on your level (e.g. level 70 will do 70 damage), so you don't risk critting and knocking it out (can be taught by TM).
Ironically my first shiny polchageist was artisan and I thought it was phony since the polchageist I caught were all artisan thanks to the outbreak... Guess I was wrong
gonna be a huge help in getting shiny versions of the tauros line too. can get one of each since i bought both games too
Poltchageist also appears East of the river, not just those two places. I got my shiny artisan form on the East side.
The form thingy also fixed the Flabèbè line outbreaks! The colour on the map is now actually the colour you encounter
9:30 man yeah that would be a nightmare, finding and evolving shiny dunsparce every day until you get a three segment dudunsparce
Austin u r a life saver I was looking for a shiny poltchagiest for so long
love that 1:45 soundtrack brings back usum vibes
Well it didn't took me 8 minutes, but after 5 hours I finally found one and even came with a mark! Thx for the video (and for the shiny) Austin!
I had a weird issue where I had a Yanma outbreak on my map but the outbreak that happened was Lotad.
My first day playing the dlc, my first shiny was a artisian poltchageist within 2 hours
0:45 - 1:14 The way the character was running perfectly on beat 😔🤌
