Fun fact about Edwin Edwards: During the 1991 Louisiana gubernatorial election, when Edwards was elected to his fourth non-consecutive term as governor, my mom was living in New Orleans. Edwards was running against David Duke, former Grand Wizard of the KKK who was then a member of the Louisiana House of Representatives, and a slogan by Edwards was "Better the crook than the racist".
I've heard from someone that Edwin Edwards once said when he was running against David Duke, "The only thing we have in common is we're both wizards under the sheets". That quote alone, if real, would be enough to knock him off a top 10 list of worst governors for me.
As someone who has lived in New Jersey for a while now, I can tell you that it doesn't matter if you're a liberal or conservative. Most people don't remember Chris Christie very fondly.
@@ADT1995 it wasn't just one thing it was a lot of things to be honest. First of all he could be down right nasty at town halls and things like that. If someone disagreed with him, it was not exactly uncommon for him to go off on citizens calling them stupid and things like that. For example, he was a big proponent of reducing the budget to public schools saying that schools in New Jersey got too much money. But multiple people pointed out the fact that his own children went to private school and as a result wouldn't be impacted by the types of things he was trying to implement. Thus led to several situations where Christie basically lost his s*** because how dare they bring his children into this. He was super aggressive and argumentative in a way that you really don't see that often in politicians, especially the way that he was willing to argue with citizens openly. Then you had the big one, bridgegate where several of his top officials intentionally created traffic on a bridge to mess with a political rival. People were stuck on a bridge for hours all because they wanted to mess with some mayor. Highly illegal stuff and a good chunk of his political inner circle was directly responsible. Prosecutors were never able to directly tie him to the incident, but a lot of people liberals and conservatives Wonder to this day if he might have been aware of it. Many of these people were people he worked closely with for many years, and a few of them said he didn't know about it. Then you have things like the Exxon Mobil case. Long story short. Years ago ExxonMobil directly created an environmental disaster in New Jersey through what was proven in the courts to be negligence. I don't remember what the number was exactly, but they cause many millions of dollars of damages. Originally it looks like they were going to pay most of those damages out to the people of New Jersey. But Chris Christie seriously campaigned and used political influence to convince people that if we punish ExxonMobil for the crime that they committed, then they might leave the state of New Jersey and we wouldn't have them as a business partner. He was very overly more worried about that than them having to make up for what damages they caused. Once again a lot of people conservative and liberal did not like his focus here. There was a time where he closed the beaches, and then went with his family to the beach when legally nobody but himself was able to visit them. There were quite a few other things but the real killer I think at the end was the fact that he ran off to go run for president and basically stopped being governor. He was practically never in New Jersey once his campaign started, and when journalist asked him about it, he would basically just get all snarky and not really give a good answer why he never was in the state. It got so bad that when we had a major hurricane and people were without power and with damaged houses, even then he didn't come back to the state he was still going state to state campaigning. This is an especially infamous one because when journalists asked him why he wasn't helping his state in a time of need, he said what do you expect me to do grab a mop. Basically at the end of the day, he knew that he was never going to win New Jersey even if he did have a chance to become president which he didn't. So he didn't care and at that point he knew that most people in New Jersey really didn't like him.
Chris Christie shoved my sister, mom and I out of the way in line at bagel shop back when I was 10. I had no idea who he was so I told my mom very loudly that, "that fat guy really wants his bagels huh?" Dude went off about us being ungrateful for his good work. Never been a fan of him
Chris Christie's level of not giving a crap about anything towards the end of his governor term is iconic. While it was happening you wanted to knock some sense into him, but after the fact it's kind of funny.
He was totally responsible for my retiring from teaching after 30 years. mess with my pension and take a fortune out of my paycheck for health benefits which were supposed to be free???...I think not!
Sad because most buildings at colleges and such are named after big donors even if they were terrible people. It isn't sometimes until years later they decide that they don't want that persons name connected to it.
Rick Snyder should most definitely be on this list imo. Former governor of Michigan, dude changed the water pipe system to try and save money and now generations in flint are going to be disabled because of his policies, many have already died. Roads are also terrible, and he never accomplished anything other than killing many innocent people and then trying to fight teachers in court with tax payer dollars. Man is a criminal in my view and should be in jail.
Yeah, he made some bad decisions there, no one's arguing that. I don't think its fair to call murder, though. And frankly, if it weren't for the Flint crisis, he wouldn't have been so bad at all.
Flint had those issues long before Snyder took office. Corrupt local politicians weren't putting the money where it should've gone. Not defending Snyder by any means but too many people run with the BS you just said in your comment.
@@mouldygrapes9500 he wasn't fully, not even 50% responsible for the Flint Water Crisis though - that had been going on for at LEAST a decade before he even took office. That'd be like saying Jennifer Granholm is responsible for how shitty the roads are in Michigan even though our infrastructure has been garbage for decades. One thing is for sure though, our current c u n t in charge destroyed a good 30% of small business with her unconstitutional actions during the pandemic and now she got reelected.
As someone who’s family originated from and still has ties to Louisiana, I’m honestly really surprised that Bobby Jindal didn’t get a dishonorable mention. Everyone in my family, even the hardcore republicans, absolutely despised him, and almost 90% of all Louisianans hated him too, given his approval rating was almost in the single digits right before John Bel Edwards got sworn in. He also gutted the state’s education system and the mental health system, and was basically the reason Louisiana got into so much debt and ranks so low compared to the rest of the country.
Yeah, sorry, Louisiana already ranked near last in everything long before your buddy Bobby was governor. It's pretty sad when you're competing with Mississippi, Arkansas, and West Virginia not to be last in some category.
SPOILER ALERT. 😀 But seriously, that is flattering you really wanted me to run. I don't have the money for that, plus I wouldn't want to put my family through that.
In my lifetime, Illinois has had 4 govenors sent to federal prison. Otto Kerner went to prison for accepting bribes to set favorable horse racing dates. Dan Walker went to jail for bank fraud. The fraud was associated with a chain of oil change garages that he started after leaving office. George Ryan went to prison for official misconduct stemming from his time as Secretary of State. Officials were getting kickbacks, so that unqualified truck drivers could get their commercial driver's licenses. Of course, Rod Blagojevich went to prison for trying to sell the appointment to Barack Obama's vacated Senate seat.
@@TheRealUSArmySo please explain why Pritzker belongs in jail. Name a crime just one. Or are you just regurgitating what conservative media tells you to think?
The answer is YES, but he's also a nonsensical idiot. Both are true. I still can't get past he didn't tell his wife she had cancer so she would continue running for office.
Two points about two of the worst governors you listed: Boggs and Young. Because there are a few points I think you missed. Mostly about Brigham Young, but historical context isn't always easy to sum up in a 10-15 minute video, is it? To be fair to Boggs, it was done more out of fear and rumor than outright hatred. He was badly misinformed about the exact causes of the Missouri Mormon War and the motivations of the Saints themselves. It didn't help that when a state militia improperly arrested three or so members and harassed the locals that a Mormon militia fought and defeated them at the battle of Crooked Creek. Losses were relatively light on both sides, but the paranoia generated from it was a huge factor in the Extermination Order.
As for Brigham Young, there are MULTIPLE misconceptions. Now I can't say I agree with all he did, but many of his actions do make sense when looked at more closely. Again, it's not easy to sum up in a short video, and a comment will take a while, so here are a few points. 1. Brigham Young and the Mormons arrived in Utah having first been kicked out by the US. Eventually, the region fell into US hands once more, and already his efforts to carry out colonization in the west made him the de facto leader. His leadership may certainly have blended church and state and was the predominant force in Utah. For the Mormons who lived in Utah this wasn't much of an issue. The majority more or less sustained him anyways. Non-members didn't start arriving in significant numbers until well after the initial settlement and shortly after Young's official tenure. And even before, calling him a "tyrant" would be quite a bit of an exaggeration. 2. Was slavery a "divine institution?" Consider it was emancipation, nor equality, that many abolitionists fought for. Most governors in the South would have made similar statements, and a majority of them aren't mentioned in this video's list. Brigham Young's views were neither uncommon for his time or contemporaries. However, there are many different types of slavery each with their own practices. While Young, known for his own strong polemics, didn't decry slavery, he certainly taught against many acts of cruelty. The type of slavery that was taught was more akin to Biblical (old testament) directives, which regarding slavery (and especially compared to the contemporary American slave economy) were fair for their day.
3. Polygamy. It was a thing. But it was it's own thing. Nor was it meant for the sexual pleasure of the polygamist man. It is telling that as the debate to end polygamy began, 1st generation feminists in Utah (of the universal suffrage crowd) DEFENDED polygamy. To marry a second or another wife a man needed the consent of a) the married, b) his current wife and c) to consult with an authority. MOST Mormons never had more than one spouse at a time and the leaders did NOT hog young women for themselves. In fact, the whole purpose was to provide for widows and, with their consent, give them children in their name. Finally, a weird tangent, there were ceremonial marriages as well, which were not sexually consummated. The upshot of all this was that the actual number of wives that Young had relations with is smaller than the official number of wives he had. Nor did he run orgies every Friday night, or at all.
4. Mormons and Natives often did come into conflict. However, Young didn't declare war on them because they wouldn't accept the Church. Young initially discouraged proactive missionary efforts to neighboring tribes (though converts were accepted), chose the Salt Lake Valley over Utah Valley (Provo) because the Utes lived there, and throughout his life made EXTENSIVE efforts to reach out and befriend native tribes. Some of these got along with Mormons alright, others did not. Most were mixed. The real source of conflict was over ownership of the land, and more generally when Mormons had with some individual raider who took a few cattle from them. The idea that the Mormons waged war on the natives for rejecting their God is historically inaccurate.
I think Governor Rick Snyder of Michigan will make the list in the future. His response to the drinking water incident in Flint was shameful, and ruined so many lives.
Another dishonorable mention: Governor Charles Aycock of North Carolina (1859-1912). Although he is remembered for his contributions to state education, Aycock was one of the perpetrators of the Wilmington Coup, in which a democratically-elected biracial city government was overthrown and hundreds of Black Americans were killed.
Governor Rhoads of Ohio LITERALLY sent the national guard to Kent State University in 1970 ultimately being responsible for The Kent State Massacre. How is he not on this list?
@William Brynn No, I think that bimbo's her own thing mixed with trump/infowars influence. Rhoads never said the protesters should've armed themselves against the national guard like she did.
@@bleeding4721 um no...... first of all there is never a protest that should end with the military killing it's own people regardless of if you agree or not with their message. That's fascist as fuck. Second their protests were peaceful no damage was done until the gaurd came to campus. The only damage on the protesters side was that someone committed arson to the rotc building (and got away with it 51 years later and no one knows who did it) and guard was already on campus at that point. Using the first amendment rights of free speech and free assembly is not justification for murder....... Rhoads used a bar fight downtown (literally a mile away) as a way to scapegoat and justify national guard presence. He literally had to make shit up to enact his fascist wishes against the American people. Lastly 2 of 4 murdered victims weren't even protesting they got caught in the crossfire
Because there were 10 governors that were actually worse... at least according to the video. It's not a reprieve for Rhoads... it's just further condemnation of the 10 that actually made the list.
You could do a decent top 10 list of terrible American governors for just Illinois alone. Not sure that's something to be proud of, but... yay Illinois?!
Oh man! I had planned on it since he was such a fascinating character, but then EmperorTigerstar did a great video on him a few months back. I probably will still eventually make one, though.
Blago is trying to make a comeback. He and his equally rotten spouse should both be in prison. Imagine, extorting money from a hospital that served dying & severely disabled children!
Another governor that many people in my home state of Louisiana consider the worst governor in our state’s history is our previous governor, Bobby Jindal. Like Chris Christie, Jindal was very popular early in his tenure, but his approval ratings plummeted and were in the 20s by the time his second term ended. Jindal didn’t have any scandals like Edwin Edwards, but he inherited a large budget surplus when he became governor and left office with the largest budget deficit in our state’s history. Our budget was in a crisis in 2016. Our economy has improved since then, but we’re still in recovery mode. Jindal was also hardly in Louisiana his last year in office because of his Presidential campaign, which went nowhere. He has kept a low profile since leaving office in 2016. Just a little honorable mention.
@@nadezhdawall-rossi2864 - I remember that. From 2008 to 2012, Jindal was very popular in Louisiana and a future favorite for the GOP nomination for President. They were propping him up as the GOP version of Barack Obama. Things started to go downhill for Jindal in 2013. By the time 2015 arrived, his approval rating in Louisiana was in the 20s and polls showed Hillary Clinton carrying Louisiana if Jindal was the GOP nominee in 2016.
I'm Mormon and living Utah and I know a lot of other people here who also agree that Brigham Young was pretty sketchy. I personally never looked into it but damn.
As a Mormon living in Utah, my only complaint about including Brigham Young is that he was only a territorial governor and not a state governor. I want to disagree with his ranking, but, I can't.

If he used racism to get elected that makes him a racist whether he actually believed what he said or not. To a Black person on the receiving end it makes no difference whatsoever.
@Bubastis lee zeldin was very strong though. If Wilson or Astorino ran they would've lost by 10pts. If Giuliani won he may have lost by more because of him being associated with his dad who's associated with Trump. Zeldin was the most electable one imo
@@layne6675 How many people criticize Moses for having multiple women, or any other biblical figure for that matter? As for the genocide, Mr beat’s favorite president owned hundreds of humans beings. You will never talk the Mormons out of loving Brigham, there’s no point even trying. Might as well try to convince Muslims to cancel Muhammad.
To be fair Christie wasn’t necessarily bad in his first term, we see that in his margins of victory the second time around but after the traffic scandal I think he just gave up trying to maintain popularity because it wouldn’t give him anything
Robert Taft III, Bob Holden, Gray Davis, Jim Gibbons, Eric Greitens, George Ryan, Jennifer Granholm, Sam Brownback, Jon Corzine and Andrew Cuomo should receive honorable mentions.

The Governors here in California have been mostly good men, in recent history, but their policy preferences can be VERY misguided. I’m actually grateful to Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jerry Brown, and Gavin Newsom for keeping the Governor’s Mansion scandal free, when so many others are playing fast and loose.

Not only did Eisenhower send in Federal troops, he also "nationalized" the Arkansas National Guard making them now under the control of the Federal Government and not Arkansas.
@@beachboysandrew No it was just to reverse what Governor Orville Faubus did. He ordered the National Guard to prevent Negro students from entering white schools even though the Supreme Court had reversed the doctrine of "separaate but equal schools for whites and blacks" Southern states couldn't or wouldn't proived equal schools for black kids and many white kids went to private schools that blacks could not afford. So the law wasn't effectively working for the purpose of equality so the Supreme Court mandated that all children shall be entitled to the same quality of education regardless of race.. Faubus would not integrate public schools and stood on the steps of the Little Rock High School claiming the segregation was forever, surrounded by the National Guard that he called up to keep black students from entering. the school. Eisenhower was advised that while in peacetime and except during national emergencies and to keep the peace. the state governor is the commander of the National Guard. Eisenhower decided to declare a national emergency because Arkansas had ndecided to defy the Constitution and other southern states were threatening to do the same. So he nationailized the Guard and the nexy day they were escorting black chidren to school on the same campuses where white people were screaming threats , cursing, and even spitting and trying to strike these kids while the guard tried to hold the whites back.

@D Brick In early May of 1970 Rhodes was term-limited out of seeking another four years as governor, so he was running for a U. S. Senate seat and behind in the polls. He used the protests at Kent as an excuse to look tough to gin up more votes in Southern Ohio. His incendiary statements and actions that weekend may well have been the underlying reason the guard troops opened fire on the peaceful protesters. I will always maintain that NO school-related building, scholarship, program, etc. should EVER be named for him, and that goes double for the Univ. of Akron Convocation Center, named for him about 20 years ago. That was truly an outrage, being so close to Kent.

Super interesting! This touched on my Mormon family where we were kicked out of Missouri and family fled Nauvoo for Utah territory a few years later. We had family who were close friends with Brigham Young and some who he tried to kill. On moms side we were Cherokees who walked the Trail of Tears out of Georgia and North Carolina. You did a very good job on this list. It is hard to argue with your choices. I am a political junkie, there are numerous bad governors that no one ever heard of, but you have done your research..... well done. A plus
As a Latter-day Saint, lifelong resident of Utah, and student at BYU, I can see where you're coming from with Brigham Young. Theocracy is a terrible idea period, though I will point out that the massacres that happened under Young's governorship were not necessarily by his orders, though I can see where his policy and influence could create the environment where it was possible. And yes, going after Boggs helped soften the blow.
I am recently ex Mormon and am having extreme extreme cognitive dissonance… though I tend to believe in facts and not what I was indoctrinated into believing. So it’s interesting to hear from it in this perspective, solidifying my disbelief in Mormonism. Though I do believe that modern day Mormons will be better…. I still do not appreciate and strongly disagree with the amount of extreme indoctrination their kids go through at such a young age.
You need to look up the extermination order. Not that one, the one that wiped out the Timpanogas Indians from Utah Valley at the hand of the Utah Territorial Militia.
It's hard to think that I seen Chris Christie at the Brewers vs Cubs game at Miller Park. I actually stood about a few feet away from him at the concession stands not thinking twice it was actually him, buying the very nachos he would be holding while calling a Cubs fan a big shot.
I’m from NJ, might as well add. Chris Christie very much has been the worst Governor, he acted above it all. He closed the state beaches then went to them with his family on a federal holiday. He’s a failure of a Gov.

Not sure if I’d call him the worst but our Virginia governor is pretty awful both in policies and opposition to the former president facing consequences for his business crimes
Big-time bad guy Robert J. Bentley (R-Alabama) heaped yet more shame and scandal on the impoverished state. He was never qualified to be governor, but he loved the grift too much to walk away. Great video.
Good video just missing a few 2 from Illinois (my old home state just for that alone I am glad I am in Iowa now) But George Ryan and I just call him Bloggo 2 govs that go to prison and don't forget Sarah Palin. I had a brother who lived in Alaska and we talked about trading governors like you do baseball players just for fun. But you have a good list also enjoy all the presidential elections from the past those are good to look at too.
Illinois had some great Governors recently. Jim Edgar come to mind. I was surprised Edgar retired so young. He would have gone pretty far in national politics. He had a great look, very good public speaker and he could reach across the aisle. I thought for sure I would be voting for him in a Presidential election in the future and I was surprised that Bush didn’t pick him for the VP spot. In a closely contested race like the Presidential election of 2000 had Bush chosen Edgar over Cheney he would have had a good shot at Illinois’ 22 electoral college votes, since Edgar was such a popular Governor when he left office. Though not enough to secure Bush a win without another state it would have brought his total to 268 and any of the hotly contested races of Oregon, New Mexico and Florida would have secured a Bush victory. It has come out that a full recount of Florida would have given the state to Gore. New Mexico was decided by 363 votes and could have flipped in a recount.
Faub and Wallace were pretty much one in the same. Their biggest problem was that they had no backbone and let the opinions of their party and the people around them become their opinions. A couple of the best sources about George Wallace are the songs "The Three Great Alabama Icons" and "Wallace" by Drive-By Truckers.
Being from GA, I had no idea about lumpkin until this video. I just had a random thought after watching to check google for a "lumpkin county GA" because I know how flawed our past is, come to find out there is a lumpkin county in Georgia is in the exact region of the state where he forcefully removed the native Cherokee tribe. What a great state I live in.
How about Whitmer who wiped out 30% of small business and put over 80,000 people out of work while marching with BLM and flying off to Florida while tell all of us not to travel, banning the use of motor boat while her husband insisted on being first in line to get his boat in the water.

I was poised to let you know about Peter Burnett, as I had come across him in my research and I assumed he was not on your radar. I was pleased to see that he made the list, but you didn't mention that, despite the honor of being the first U.S. governor of California, he resigned like a whiny little b*** when an anti-slavery vote didn't go his way.
He caused it, he used his county officials to redirect the city of flint’s (mind you, a African American majority city) water supply from Lake Huron’s clean water to the lead contaminated flint river water. Because of this, people got irreversible lead poisoning and legionnaires’ disease, killing 12, and they totally knew about it, but kept on denying it even though the epa and cdc saying that flint’s residents are being poisoned. It goes further than the water crisis, Snyder corruptly helped out his fellow businessmen to become even richer, disregarding Michigan’s residents. He even declared a state of emergency when there wasn’t one as an excuse to insert his own puppets into important positions in the state, essentially seizing direct power of the state. Thank goodness he is going out next year.
The thing about burning down houses, as Young suggested - The Mormons had been run out of multiple states, as well as a city they built. By the time Johnston's army came to Utah, the Mormons had crossed the border into then-Mexico to flee persecution. I would burn my house down too, if it meant I wouldn't give it up again.
I grew up Mormon, still live in Utah with lots of friends in the faith and, yeah, I think even most serious scholars of Mormon history would agree with your take on Brigham Young. Theocracy is not a stretch at all.
Thank you for including Lilbourn Boggs on this. People really don’t recognize the horrible things they had to go to because of their beliefs. The fact that a governor legalized the murder of a specific religious group is probably the most underrated atrocity in the history of the United States
Ok that was the most surprising turn of a video I’ve seen in a long time. All I can say is half of those things weren’t actually the prophet’s fault. The slavery thing was his own opinion and still to this day the church condemns racism and we also know that a prophet may have opinions that aren’t doctrine but that doesn’t affect the truthfulness of the gospel

I left after his first term. My friends back home like him more than the current one.
I'm not from NJ so pardon my ignorance. But what did he do to get such low approval ratings?
@@Yukiwodashite Sounds like a really crappy governor. Thank you for your answer.

Flint had those issues long before Snyder took office. Corrupt local politicians weren't putting the money where it should've gone. Not defending Snyder by any means but too many people run with the BS you just said in your comment.

As someone who’s family originated from and still has ties to Louisiana, I’m honestly really surprised that Bobby Jindal didn’t get a dishonorable mention. Devout Mormon here.
Brigham Young absolutely deserves this distinction.
I'm glad you agree!
And people harp on Whitmer for keeping Michigan under lockdown during a deadly pandemic. How disappointing.

Maybe cause they pretty much deserved it
@@bleeding4721 um no...... first of all there is never a protest that should end with the military killing it's own people regardless of if you agree or not with their message. The only damage on the protesters side was that someone committed arson to the rotc building (and got away with it 51 years later and no one knows who did it) and guard was already on campus at that point. Using the first amendment rights of free speech and free assembly is not justification for murder.......
I remember the MSM talking up Jindal as Presidential material.
@@nadezhdawall-rossi2864 - I remember that. From 2008 to 2012, Jindal was very popular in Louisiana and a future favorite for the GOP nomination for President. its been three years. murphy dug us deeper into a hole
You might need to add Andrew Cuomo now
He seems pretty liberal. I doubt he will lol

I just recently found your channel and would have LOVED to know this information while in school. Keep being awesome, sir.
If that last bit by Bringham Young was too gruesome to mention and you've said some pretty gruesome things, it must be bad. Makes me want to look it up. Thanks for these videos makes me want to learn more about our history
It was extremely gruesome, although to what extent Brigham was involved himself is debated by historians
Still have family in Oklahoma and Utah. My family are directly involved in MMM. I am convinced BY knew
Did your native ancestors meet Jesus a few thousand years ago?
@@deutschermichel5807 Very rude and disrespectful.
@@dianethulin1700 Do you perceive my question as rude? Why? Didnʼt God and the Angel Moroni tell to Prophet Joseph Smith that Jesus Christ came to the native Americans who are really just Hebrew settlers? If you are a descendent of Cherokees, this should mean that your ancestors should have Semitic blood aswell as an encounter with Jesus
As an Illinoisan, I think Blagojevich should be higher. The corruption he had is still felt today.
As an Ex-Mormon, I agree. Utah has had learned from the past & will improve social etiquette.
If you look into the beliefs and actions of Brigham Young, it becomes clear that he was a truly evil, unredeemable man
Nothing happened in Utah without that man’s say so. The idea that he didn’t order or at least condone the massacre is total bullshit.
Me: thinks about the scene in Borat with Govenor Rudy
I don't think he was governor. Just mayor
Closed stuff then went to party and on vacation? Gee sounds like the Ds of 2020-1
@@bleeding4721 except christie is a republican
im an nj republican and i voted democrat in 2017 for the first time. the other option was christies lieutenant governor. hopefully we can get ciaterelli soon
Not sure if I’d call him the worst but our Virginia governor is pretty awful both in policies and opposition to the former president facing consequences for his business crimes
Great video, love this ; learned a lot, always enjoy these videos, keep up the great work 👍♥️👌✌️
Big-time bad guy Robert J. Bentley (R-Alabama) heaped yet more shame and scandal on the impoverished state. He was never qualified to be governor, but he loved the grift too much to walk away. Great video.
George Wallace and Orval Faubus: “I’m a racist and segregationist”.
Edward L. Jackson (Indiana): hold my beer
She was ok.
Len Small? No, no, no. His name is Len SmallBRAIN lmao.
I’m a independent voter but in all honesty Christie wasn’t that bad there are more republicans that did more damage for example Desantis
Now do a best list and I expect Jesse Ventura
Ventura wasn’t that good a governor
@@haroldlawson8771 ventura actually did make it to his best list lol
Here in Illinois, we have a saying: "If you wanna be governor, you'd better look good in orange."
Good one!
Interesting! Jazz musician Charles Mingus wrote a song called Fables of Faubus.
At least it flipped Blue last year. There's hope for y'all yet.
dude it could be the Carolina’s. Their only president was the trail of tears guy
My pick is Rick "Icky Ricky" Snyder, governor of Michigan from 2011-19, solely for his godawful handling of the Flint Water Crisis
How about Whitmer who wiped out 30% of small business and put over 80,000 people out of work while marching with BLM and flying off to Florida while tell all of us not to travel, banning the use of motor boat while her husband insisted on being first in line to get his boat in the water.

What can I say, Rod Blagojevich was a businessman doing business things.
I wouldn’t call that “business things” since what he was convicted of was illegal
Yeah, if your idea of a good businessman includes Al Capone or Bernie Madoff.
I was born and raised in SC. The fact that I can tell you who the governor was 10:49 just by reading the names is just... it's a South Carolinian thing I guess 🤷🏾♀️

please do Vermont and New Hampshire Compared
You are going to be VERY happy in a few weeks. ;)
really thanks also are you really running for governor of Kansas
jb14998 and friends
That's easy in Vermont there are very few regulations recent laws passed despite that very few on guns in New Hampshire the town chief of police can deny your permit they feel like it and when you buy one a receipt goes to the local police department and they come knocking on your door yeah not cool no sales tax in New Hampshire although they have high gas taxes and tolls Vermont has lower gas taxes and no tolls at all Vermont is essentially a socialist state for example DCF legally kidnaps children and breaks up families that's because of all the futon liberals that have moved up to Vermont throughout the years which also explains a recent gun law which makes it a very poor place to do business with Act 250 and act 60 go across the river to New Hampshire and it's easier to start a business and lots more shopping too because of the sales tax free law however New Hampshire does report back to Vermont if you buy big things and the tax department a Vermont comes after you for the sales tax vehicle inspection laws are slightly easier Vermont New Hampshire has a very nasty history of overzealous enforcement on it's car inspection laws I heard of a police officer getting into a shootout with a pissed-off anti government type over rust on the bumper of the pickup truck I kid you not I've seen the Live Free or Die Spirit cases and New Hampshire unfold.

Brigham Young was so bad that he was a villain in the first Sherlock Holmes Novel
Rick Snyder's handling of the Flint water crisis easily qualifies him for this list.
This Jersey boy had a good laugh. He's blunt. That's the only thing we liked about him. Bridge Gate forever altered his career.
Good video. I disagree about Edwards though, I would replace him with Buddy Roemer of Louisiana. But great video, well thought out
Thank you for including Lilbourn Boggs on this.
