ATV comes in the 1950's and then it got ceased on January 1, 1982 before Central came.

ATV WAS the best. The disappointment of 1 January 1982 and that awful logo. Londoners must have felt the same 11 years later when the Thames logo was replaced by that Carlton tat.

They must have had money to burn. It seemed every week there was another 10 logos and they never stopped them until it went into overkill and they were crap.

Yes,,ATV was a tremendous major contractor in the network. A sad loss along with the finest regional company, Southern Television. Both still missed, both fondly remembered
