dude! 3 layers on rubbers ok but, 1 is enough on the blade. 4 layers in total is well enough to have a good connection between blade and rubber. if you play max rubbers, there's a chance to be over the thickness max of 4mm. that's why pros never boost the max thickness because it requires a lot of glue and it makes the racquet illegal. always one step below max.
