These products are definitely a game changer for the room. I’ve never seen his floor so open before. He’s had these for months and he still can’t get over how much he loves them haha.
I just got the desk/wall mount boom package a few weeks ago and it's an absolute game changer in my bedroom studio setup! All because of your video too!
At 30 years old, I feel I have discovered the key to an easy life. EVERYTHING ON WHEELS! Kitchen island, storage shelves, toolboxes, shop tools, outboard sidecars, instrument cases, amps, etc. Triad Orbit equipment definitely helps with that. They actually teamed up with 9.Solutions to use their clamps.. The commercial film industry and the music industry need to talk more. There is so much grip gear already on the market that music studios should be using to mount mics and whatnot.
Your studio run through are so funking cool , love the no wires on the floor and mic placement doesn’t move that was cool. I personally like having a clean work space when jamming specially when others are over. Don’t know how others can stand clutter. 10/10 with your studio. And your drums like I said before are beautiful. Kinda like an orange version of my drums haha 🤘
Thanks Andrew for talking about these stands. I’m in a very tight space for recording and video. These are products that will make my workflow faster and space saving is a bonus!
Thanks Andrew! I have been trying to figure out how to make an extendable Decca tree. This product is flexible enough to do the trick...at least for small ensembles. Good vid!!
I strongly disagree Andrew...Triad Orbit is VERY SEXY, hahahah. It really has changed my studio life. Piano recording has become a joy since I got their stands! No stands lying around the floor, video shooting has become so much easier with no stands in the way of the videographer. They worth every penny!
Thanks Andrew. You've opened my eyes! I can see for miles! hahahaha. A full life wasting money buying mic stands... Thanks for your big efforts showing your world, I am building now a nice home studio, and you are such a reference to me. All the best from Madrid, Spain. One question, how many square meters do you have in your main room? Thanks! Another one, which kind of shelves do you use? love them!
Interesting & timely video for me. I'm in a very similar situation to you with amps, keyboards, mixing desk, acoustics all in one room that is probably smaller than yours. Floor space is very important! I was looking at the K&M 25995 Table/Floor stand for use with speaker cabs. Thinking I could slide the base under the cab to save space. I have also looked at the Triad Orbit stuff. Not sure how much guitar tracking you have done using the mic clamp on the speaker cabinet but interested to know if there are any issues with vibration transfer to the mic using that mounting method. That's been my main concern going the lip clamp route.
He has done a lot of guitar tracking with this product attached to the stand! He loves it and he doesn’t have any issues with the stand vibrating at all.
Hi Andrew! Really love your content and these seem so great! How are these types of mic claps with structural transference of frequencies? Do they pick up vibrations or low-end rumble at all?
Hey Andrew Can you do a video showing some of the tracks you’ve recorded in your studio ? I Would love to hear some tracks you’ve done in your home set up. I’m building my studio now in Leipers fork and have gotten tons of great ideas from your channel. Thanks Jai Diablo
At 8:00 you show how it could be used as a Decca Tree setup but I’d be curious how much weight it can hold as an actual Decca Tree setup, where each of the three mic arms (not the main boom from the stand) are ideally about six feet long each from the T-split mid point. I didn’t want to pay $1500-$3000 on just the tree section for a “real” tree, so I built an adjustable one myself a while back using light stand components that hold/withstand the weight and length of each arm. But a nice solution/option if the Triad Orbit system can safely hold the weight of a properly triangulated tree!
Tell me you’re music rich… without telling me you’re music rich lol.. jk jk! Stands are super dope… maybe one day for me! Love the videos Andrew! Keep crushing brotha!
haha sometimes i'll get an amazon truck backing up or something, but it's pretty quiet over here. *Results definitely vary depending on neighborhood lol*
Triad Orbit is great but expensive as hell. It costs at least 3-10 times more. Some stuff is more for millionaires than normal musicians. :) How much are your stands all together? Ah, I see, 2000 Dollars just for stands.
Totally, not all equipment is designed for hobbyist musicians, or someone who has no budget. This video and most of my videos are for people who do this work professionally and have their business built around a great facility that can work fast. If you aspire to something like this, it’s nice to see some real world application. I certainly don’t limit myself, work and videos to the idea is this the cheapest thing that could be used, but rather does this bring real world value to me, my clients, viewers, and my partners.
Well, I could be wrong, but sometimes it's better to pay more and get robust, heavy-duty equipment. Personally, this is beyond my budget and I only have one mic stand which served me well for years, but the moment it broke I knew why it was so cheap when I bought it new (around 20$, some 15 yrs ago). If I was a pro, I wouldn't think twice.
Of course it is ok for you to show what is possible. But you can spend your money only one time. And even professional studios don't have big budgets anymore. Don't get me wrong: I also own one thing from this company. Because no other company had the same product. But I always try to find a good solution that works but does not kill the bank account. Anyway: thanks for showing what's possible if you don't have a tight budget. @@AndrewMasters
Happy Sunday upload! What is more annoying to buy than mic stands?
More annoying? Buying vintage synths with poor MIDI implementation, high noise floor and soldered on ROM batteries?
Using crappy mic stands is infinitely more annoying...
Cables. So many cables..😂
These products are definitely a game changer for the room. I’ve never seen his floor so open before. He’s had these for months and he still can’t get over how much he loves them haha.
Triad orbit stands are the absolute best stands made! Been using these for about 4 years. Worth every penny👍

Andrew in his own candyland. Awesooooome.

Overweight Americans who go to Wallmart have discovered that for years!

This is so satisfying! I love doing this kind of stuff in my home studio. Adding to my Christmas list😂

Hey I appreciate it, thanks for watching.

Love the Triad Stuff!
omg! this is AMAZING! WILL DEFINITELY GET THOSE AS SOON AS I CAN! Thank you so much for the tips :))
Your room looks Great❤
Appreciate it
I have their large boom mic stand with casters...it's amazing.
Many cords has always been somewhat of a nemesis in my studio,

They’re the best I’ve used so far. I went from cheap on-stage stands so they’re an upgrade in every category for me.
Cool video, thanks! 👍🏻
Thanks for checking it out!
This is a “Sexy” video to me - thanks Andrew for making it and for all your other awesomeness ✊
It would be interesting to see how that OH setup copes with a pair of Coles
As long as the sand bag is on the other end it’s great haha, that center mic is crazy heavy
Im curious about clamping the mics to the amp lips and vibrations or resinencessss thru the stands to the mics?!?!?! Any issues?
Great questions, none at all! They've been a game changer.
@@JBATahoe haha alright, well on all the sessions I do, it sounds incredible.
A real basic-ass question but where did you get the wire shelves the amps are on?
Home Depot
Look like Metro shelves. Container store, Sam's club has similar check online.

man, what's that monitor set up beside the kit?

$429 for a tripod mic stand? Are you kidding me?

Whether a pro or amateur, this gives some great ideas on ways to clean up and streamline a home studio room without messy mic stands taking up space.
There is not just expensive and cheap. There is something in between. There is good stuff from K&M for example. @@PappaBear_yt

Got super stoked watching this - but $120 for the gd clamp? Don’t think so, hard pass. Knock over my $20 mic stand and I’ll kick your ass...
