Brand new sharp anvil pruners from several brands will not crush anything, but anvil pruners by design are supposed to be for dead wood mostly, not live wood. It's not a sharpness thing, it's a design thing. Japanese hand made pruners would be much sharper and harder than these because they use different steel and can be 100% forged which these are not.
I think people that say anvils crush, have never actually used a pair before. Most of the people you watch on youtube who demonstrate the "advantages" of bypass pruner will do the classic demonstration of holding a twig in their left hand, cutting it and then show you the waste piece as evidence of the bypass pruners superiority lol. The anvils SUPPORT not crush the wood.
Hm, the Main reason to use a Bypass pruner is, that you can cut close to the trunk. You need this, because the bark should grew/overflow (in German überwallen) the cut.
Is there is any lowe cutter ( made in germany) store in delhi, India🇮🇳
