Just last night, I was thinking to comment on your video to ask if you can explain DeepSeek. Then I woke up this morning, BAM; your video is uploaded. Haha! Thanks! :)

Actually the most important thing is missing here. Deepseek is open-sourced while the others are not. It means, anyone can check and learn and replicate it, killing the tech industry monopoly

I hope there will be a cheaper manufacturing of medicines and medical equipments so that patients pay lesser for healthcare.

Last time when humans were send to the moon, the technology was many times limited in storage and cpu processing. Fast forward 2025, seems like they cannot replicate the same thing using the tech. When things are more powerful, it seems like they forgot the creativity.

I doubt these benchmarks were really that accurate to begin with. As a manufacturer, i would try to tweak my program to suit the benchmark as closely as possible. But in reality, if u put in real user prompts, it might not perform as well as u thought. Only time and user experience will tell if it's comparable with ChatGPT.

The benchmarks are about the same. But the cost is much lower. You need have enough memory for the parameter required in your operation. You can see people using Mac mini to build their server.

A GPU is like a super-fast helper for your computer. It’s really good at drawing pictures and videos on your screen, and it can also help with big math problems really quickly.

There's no way it can runs so low power by logic...
BTW, as more AI bots that arrives later timings, it will becomes cheaper and cheaper to produce improved versions if they able to use predecessors' code/ research for free or open source (if any)...
Plus, who can truly believe $6M is the total cost without any off the balance sheet investment/ subsidy...?
So, either they have an expensive, hidden engine or they are mainly an interface with some added functionality but throw much of the processing powers to some other systems/ platform...

$6 million spend on server, not including labour and other stuff. You can easily google or deepseek them. The company is a AI hedge fund company, btw.
