Edmonton is not a village in anyway, this is a misconception alot of people have and keep spreading. I live in Edmonton and alot of people from Toronto and other province are moving here. To get a clear picture of what Edmonton is, I will compare it to Takoradi in Ghana. Though its not so popular or populated it is a developed place and has everything you will find in a City. Edmonton is the capital of Alberta and Alberta is the 4th populous province in Canada with a population of 5million.

I felt your pain Sister I went through same thing. 3years age I have to run away from him to Women Refuge for safety with my two children went to visit him he told the children I have juju in my house. Now to see my children, is not easy. Social arrangements he cancelled all. I don't want to drag things so I stay back looking at him.

Beautiful woman, advising your kids to buy a house/have a career before marriage/having kids is good but can have its negative implications depending on the child. For the girls, they can always buy a house/have a career later [as you did] because the 'biological clock' does not wait for anyone. My advice to the youth, particularly the girls, is that everything in life is striking a good balance as any advise skewed to the right or left could have relative impacts in the future.
