She’s absolutely magnetic! She’s has a very strong foundation and walks with a natural grace and confidence. I’m glad it’s not exaggerated. She seems sure of herself but not smug.
Because of these runway evolution videos we can see how these models looks awkward but with confidence in their walks at the beginning of their careers and now look at them confidently confident and owning that damn runway.

You get instructions for catwalk, what do you have to do, its for photo not because of model. For 95% she wouldnt get casted for that runway because of "thinking too much" and not being down to earth.

I feel like she never really wanted to be a model. She seemed very interested in volleyball and criminology. It felt like her mother pushed modeling to her. Now, she seems to enjoy her job.
2015, in just one year, her improvement was immense. She actually started looking like a runway model that year. But I'd say it was in 2016 when she really had a significant improvement on her walk. Her confidence and attitude gave a great deal to it. She looked unreal, so gorgeous.

That’s not what they’re annoyed about, they’re annoyed that Gigi and Kendall are claiming they worked as hard as everyone else to get to where they are.

The problem is that Bella has improved greatly whereas Gigi’s walk is still heavy. Bella may have also used daddy’s money to get where she is now but her drive for modeling and the effort she has put into becoming who she is, makes her worthy of all the praise she receives. Gigi however is the complete opposite. Not to mention her bad personality and anger management issues.

Upasana Mallick that doesn’t make sense. That’s like saying, Adriana’s hard work in the modeling industry and Anwar Hadid’s “hard work” in the modeling industry is the same, because to Anwar, having money to be put into the runway is “hard work” when it really isn’t.

How did she survived the most toxic industry she looks so soft and humble
Because she already has the millions and the influence to not be bullied/discriminated or she, and her powerful family/friends, will call out the ones that dare to mess with her.
Models who aren't famous/rich enough or aren't dating a male celebrity will be kick out and shamed for little things. Take for example Gemma Ward, she was body shamed for a few pounds she gained, the bullying went so bad, that she ended up quitting modeling. And no one bated an eye, no one came to her defense since outside modeling she wasn't well known, all that despite the fact that she was a well established model by her own merits.
Imagine if a designer would do that to Gigi. Not only her rich powerful family will come to her defense, but also others celebrities she's friend with: Taylor, Dua, Rihanna, Anna Wintour, The Kardashians, his boyfriend Zayn, etc. and they're influential.

@@yhm6470 yes! models have to be super skinny so that they fit into the sample sizes (tw: ed) most of them are told to loose weight, getting told they’re fat when they’re obviously skinny, and many worse things. My point is that the hadid’s have the money and connections for them not to be as skinny as other models and still get booked. :)

She may got a headstart cuz of her family but it's not like she can choose that! She's improved so much and worked hard to prove herself and now it's paid off! Also she's not just beauty and brains, she does charity work too! She's really great, her walk wasn't like the other models but that's because she's Gigi! She deserved her success period!
She definitely used it to her advantage. She can choose to use a different last name. You only stan her walk because of her, it doesn't fit any other models because it doesn't have to because of her last name, if she was anyone else she wouldn't even be a model.

That’s a large reason why so many models are from wealthy and prominent families. And you don't have to learn modeling to be able to tell something is off when watching a model walk. A model's walk isn't supposed to make you feel uncomfortable, it shouldn't be distracting you from the outfit she's wearing.
