Had the chance to see Roy play live a few times, and I have to say he just blew me away ever time.

Never heard a quintet play the blues and make it sound interesting and modern until now. Roy Hargove's opening is all the way gut bucket blues and the piano player did his thing. The sax player also held in down but you gotta give it up to the low end.
Miss you Roy Hargrove. Your music will live on forever. Rest in Peace.
