I think you should consider a new mount location for your front light. It would be best for it to be mounted on the front of the rack so that your gear does not end up blocking the light.
Rack appears to be sloping down to the front. So how do we "level" it as stated in the video? And what do we do if the bike has no bolt mountings halfway up the forks?
effyleven Please note these racks only work with Priority model bikes. If you have one of our bikes you will have the fork mounts and it will level easily. Email, call or text our support team for help.
their rack is a rebranded origin 8 porteur rack. On the origin 8 rack the bracket that attaches the fork to the bottom of the flat part of the rack can be adjusted to level the rack. The legs extend further in order to attach at the front wheel axle. Its best to use a bolted front hub though.
I was thinking the same thing, I just ordered this rack and i have the light, as soon as I mount my bag that light will be useless, longer wiring and a mount to the very front or some sort of telescoping stem will be needed I think :-(
Appreciate your video. It looks that this rack is the one good for my bike. What are the dimensions. And please put the where one can buy and check the specifications.
I just got my bicycle and I'm finding hard to understand how to install the front rack when you have front brakes, I would like to see a video of installing this same rack on the L Train and also the Planet Bike Eco Rack Also at 4:26 my pack of screws only came with one concave washer
right.!. how do you film all of that and not show the rack installed.!. it would be nice to show it at the end, but it really needs to be shown at the beginning also to be able to get a picture of what you are even assembling
@@MrMrsregor Hi there, responding to this one as well. There are a variety of photos on the product page: www.prioritybicycles.com/products/priority-front-rack-black
Do not attempt to attatch a rack on your bike yourself! REPEAT = NEVER attach a rack to a bike yourself! You must take it to a PROFESSIONAL, and give them your MONEY! .......or you can just watch a youtube video if you have any doubts lol
Sorry not sure I understand your feedback. However if you need help with the assembly of your rack please do contact our support team, we respond quickly and are here to help!
I'm sorry you feel that way! The rack is specifically designed to easily bolt onto our bicycles. Our customer have send it very positive feedback about its utility and value.

Hi @VeloVloger- for sure. Great note there. Maybe there is an inverted way we can check out for flexibility. We will give it a view. Thanks!
I totally agree with you
Doesn't block the light.
Thanks, Dave for the video. Will be ordering a couple of bikes from Priority within the next two weeks...can't wait to put this video to good use!😊
nice and easy video tutorial!👍👍👍
If you mount the light there your load will block the light, is there a better place to mount the light?

New SUBSCRIBER! Can i do this on my stretch beach cruizer? I don't have holes on my forks of my beach cruiser 🤔
I think on this one I would want the light mounted higher so it would be less likely to be blocked by something on the rack.

For the L-Train I'm assuming im not removing the entire front brake but just loosening the cable, like when you have to take the front tire of right??
Thanks Dave for protecting me from starving
How do you install the rack if you have a quick release tire?
don't mount this yourself and this is how to mount it
Brilliant😂
Can I attach panniers to this rack at all?

What are the dimensions of the deck? This looks like it could be a great looking rack, and it's really well priced!
nice rack .. would of love to see the whole bike afterward.
For sure. We will share some photos and a deeper dive in another video. Great note!

Your website doesn’t show this rack do you still offer it?
Where can I get one
Where can i but it, im from Colombia
MY GOD. The volume keeps spiking !!!
It seems that just about anything on the front rack would obscure the light. Gotta me a better idea for that.
Washers don't "thread" onto bolts.
I just want a front rack to mount my 120 Watt lightbar.

Are you saying I could get rapped up in this bike rack and starve to death ☠️ if I don’t get a professional to install it.
Yes😂
The rack is slanted lol
What brand? does any one know?
It's Priority Bicycles brand!
Why would you need a video for tjis
Maybe get a closer view next time....
The rack is slanted.
Why in the world would you render your light useless if you are carrying a pack on that rack? What a dumb idea...
Horrible povs

O overreaching and over priced for those of us who would actually benefit from such a large rack.
