Losing my hair ruined my college years. I felt "less than." A few years later I discovered UFC and found all the coolest guys were bald and got my confidence back.

I had hair fall problem since I was 18, I'm 21 now, I lost too many hairs but now suddenly my hairs have stopped falling in fact they have gotten stronger somehow, I haven't had a haircut from last one year and since they used to be weak I didn't touch them much, natural dreadlocks are formed and idk as I told you they have gotten stronger somehow. Maybe not touching hairs, being too gentle on them, shampooing them thrice a week and oiling them atleast once a week has worked for me. Also I joined the gym last year, that may have helped hairfall, too. I'm no expert, these things worked out for me so I wrote.

I went bald when I was 16/17, now I’m 23. I literally didn’t know going bald was such an issue to people. It was then that I heard people would feel sorry for me but I was never and am never sad about being bald. I feel like it is masculine and with a beard looks dope af. I would honestly not want any hair and am looking into literally lasering all the excess hair I still have. MEN, BE CONFIDENT! I still get lots of attention from women-they are most of the time more attracted to confidence than hair. Just like men usually don’t ONLY like girls with a certain trait, they don’t either. And also, people have different preferences as to their partners. It’s all good, you can look bomb af, masculine and confident being bald. Maybe easier even 🤷🏽♂️
I started losing my hair in my twenties. At the time I thought it was the worst thing that could happen to me. It was terrible. Through the years it bothered me less and less. Now as a senior I wouldn’t want hair. The best thing I did to look best was to keep it short.
Very Informative. While balding is an impending danger .. the way he ends his video by saying "you will be in the company of great people" really lightens my mood some what.
I've never seen a bald man get a transplant and not wish he would have gotten it earlier. I've been working at a medical agency for over a year now. I help patients fly over to Turkey and get treatment. I keep in touch with most of my patients. It feels like even the way they talk changes, they get a massive boost of confidence. My advice is either prevent hairloss at a young age or get a hair transplant. Period.
The key to accepting baldness is to work on your personality, mental fortitude, and general overall knowledge... Through making yourself a more secure person, something as trivial as hair loss won't bother you in the slightest; it'll only bother others (with full head of hair or not) who are insecure.

@@comfysituations3566 Not at all psychotic. One has to do compromise. One has to accept that he looks older than actual age so behave according to looks. How will you feel if you were asked to take photos in your family function with your 5/6 younger cousin brother or sister's? I avoid that because I look like an uncle between my age 20 or below cousins.

It's an intresting fact that Eunucs donn't go bald but have such increased hair growth rate that they'd shave their heads. That was the ancient cure for baldness..... having one's wedding tackle removed!! As any doctor will tell you, the fact is that being "well hung" = excess DHT = male pattern baldness..... one of Mother Nature's cruel jokes on men.
there is no evidence that bald men have more testosterone than full headed men, the amount is the same, but one is more resistant to DHT than the other
It was noticed and commented on, even as far back as Roman and ancient Greek times, that Eunucs grew hair on their heads at an unnatural rate compared to "tackle equiped" men. Women are able to retain longer hair folicles due to lack of DHT and Eunics also share this trait. As a cure for baldness castration is one option that men have always avoided.
Andy Reid Women's hair and skin is inherently different, even when women go bald they don't bald in the same pattern men do. Women need two copies of the baldness gene in order to go bald, the genes that cause baldness have nothing to do with DHT levels, the reason these genes cause baldness is because they affect the sensitivity of the follicles against DHT, if your follicles are very sensitive to it, even the average amount of DHT a female produces will make you bald.
My dad lost almost all ofbhis hair at 30 both of my cousins from my dad’s side are balding and they’re in their 20s, but my grandpa from my mom’s side died in his 60s with a full head of hair
My hair loss started after a tonsil removal with general anesthetic. I was just 20. The day after surgery I started losing hundreds of hairs a day it was insane. It never stopped.
My brother’s father (we have the same mother but different dads) had really nice hair before he entered his 30s but now he’s bald. And I’m pretty sure my brother will also go bald later, he’s right now a teenager and has really nice thick hair. Just like how his father was
The basic thing you need to understand from the knowledge in this video is that the hair needs to be shed in telogen, for new one to come up and take their place. Brushing the hair removes the ones that are meant to be shed causing almost no delay in starting the new anagen phase. Understand that hair needs to be shed and smile when hair falls

Yea I'm female and only 23, but I've suffered some hair loss recently due to a brief period of homelessness. It was only 2 weeks yet it caused my VERY thick hair to become thin enough to easily see the scalp in one spot and be completely bald in another. Luckily this type of hair loss is temporary... I just wish it'd come back already.
i started balding during my teens. it has been very gradual, so i still have a decent amount on my head. Like a norwood 2 or something. It really slowed down after puberty, to the point that it has barely receded the last 5 years.
Damn y'all comments are way stronger than what I'm going through I'm 17 and currently having a receding hairline, it has been this way for a while and it all came with some terrible life effects. Well I'm still in school and I usually find it hard to communicate with strangers cause of the fear of having them look at me beyond my eye level instead of having a straight eye to eye conversation.. I'm always fearing bout what runs in their minds each time people look at me that way, which is why I usually avoid it but it also came the fact that I'm now antisocial because of it.. I don't know but each day I hope and sometimes pray for a miracle to just happen maybe someday. I feel for my confidence💔
I am 17 too, it started for me at 15 and man it sucks, I have the same thing with social anxiety and it made me socially more awkward than I already am, it's by far the last thing I needed in my life But there is treatment, do not wait! Get on Minoxidil and Finasteride or Dutasteride if needed, discuss it with your doctor! I was on Topical Minoxidil for a year and the growth was just amazing but sadly I had to stop because I'm sensitive to it(which is extremely rare by the way, so you don't have to worry and the side effects all went away after I stopped) And I started Finasteride and Dutasteride, combined treatments and now I'm noticing growth finally again after I lost my Minoxidil gains So start them, you got this! I will send you a comment I wrote after this one in case you're interested to know more about hair loss Keep in mind that I'm not a doctor so take everything with a grain of salt

4:02 why does the T heads look so angry? was it just a random expression drawn on them or is it suppose to say that testosterone is an aggressive hormone???
To treat alopecia/bald spots/baldness/ receding hairline, put a couple sprigs of rosemary and a handful of cloves in a container of boiling hot water and let steep overnight, strain and place in a spray bottle. Use it on your problem area/whole scalp for growth. Refrigerate the rest to preserve, it really worked for me, might work for you too, and I've tried things like minoxidil.
Started to have thinning hair on the front hairline in my early 30s, however after about 13 years I noticed the hair fall stopped and stayed as it is….strange
I use micro fibers to hide my baldness. One of the greatest invention ever. I've lost well over 50% of my hair, but with microfibers on, most people can't even tell that I'm bald.
Some old wise people where I live say that cutting your hair after 3-4 days from the new (raising) Moon helps to strengthen your hair. I have done this every time I needed to cut my hair and I've noticed it works. Don't know the exact reasons why, though. I just thought I share this if it might help somebody that is losing his/her hair right now.
It's strange that medical sciences have come so far but still we haven't found a way to easily, cheaply and permanently fix balding and weakening eyesight.
Doing 100 push ups 100 squats 100 sit ups and a 10km run without the use of air conditioning and eating a banana each morning for 3 years will help make you go bald
I started developing a receding hairline when I was 25. At around 29, I started using shampoo to prevent it. Now, I'm 34, and I still have the same amount of hair I had at 29. I only wish I would have caught it sooner.
Nick Andrews It's called Nioxin. It won't make your hair grow back, but at least it won't fall out. I hear there's something even better out now that actually grows your hair back, but I didn't catch the name of it when someone told me about it.
I sometimes wonder if it's because I'm now bald that I tend to notice that it's a commonality amongst so many people today. One would think that the number of bald cases is on the increase.
My hairloss started in my mid 20's and with it my eyebrow hairs started thinning as well. Im 32 now and I look way less attractive than before. Girls dont notice me the way they used to. On the other hand, DHT is much more effective than testosterone for building muscle, so most knowledgeable weightlifters will take supplements that promote testosterone's conversion into DHT. You can get shampoo that will wash the DHT from your scalp.
You can also go bald by doing 100 pushups, 100 sit ups, 100 squats, and a 10k run every day for 3 years.

Baldness can look pretty good actually, it all depends on how you go around treating your scalp.
i need that motivation, I am 24 now and alrady loose hair from past 2 years and currently using medication for 2 weeks ago, hopefully it will help stop the fall
When I was 25, at the first hint of my future baldness, I thought "whatever, in 20 years from now they Will be able to reverse baldness, I don't need to worry...".... And here we are... 18 years later.....
Science, would you mind HURRY UP a bit?
Minoxidil!

Science? You mean scientists... Take Finasteride

My question is. Why does the hair from the back of the head never falls?
+DaMontana Digital Ideas (DaMontana) Well, since it is hormon related the hormon distribution throughout the skin would be my first guess.
To make the things even worse... To you not been mistake with someone who shaved his head on purpose....
To your head be shiny and chrome you need to have no hair on the top...
+SuperResistant yeah but why a few hair pieces are imune to dht and others don't that was the question
+DaMontana Digital Ideas (DaMontana) it's due to something called the androgen paradox, it loosely means that the same androgens (hormones) that promote the growth of bodily hair on the face, arms, chest and legs also cause damage to the hair on top of the scalp (the area where men usualy go bald, the crown)
Losing my hair ruined my college years. I felt "less than." A few years later I discovered UFC and found all the coolest guys were bald and got my confidence back.
In star trek they make previsions about the disks, cell phones, ipad everything.. but even so Picard is Bald... there is no hope.. maybe in 26th century maybe...

Enjacku if no body cares why did Ricker haven't a beard on first season and then after became to have a beard...
If picard dosen't cares okey but I never see he saying anything about this... in fact on the years of academy show that picard had a big hair tuft like elvis when he was young...
people care about hair on the future... just because maybe picard don't care. it doesn't explain....

If you're young enough to think a Mohawk is a good idea, then you're going to still have hair by the time most of these treatments become public. I would voice your concerns to your physician.
If anything, I'm sorry for your loss. I come from good genes on both sides, so I should be good.

Yes i've been thinking about that, the front of my hairline has moved down - all the way down to my lip and chin. I don't feel conftorable in this condition that i'm in. I'm not sure if this is just some kind of spiritual journey made by a hair, as if they're just pilgrims of some sort. In that case they should move back home when they're done exploring themselves.
Do you think i should see a doctor for this?
After 30 you will naturally have reverse movhak.

The key to accepting baldness is to work on your personality, mental fortitude, and general overall knowledge... Through making yourself a more secure person, something as trivial as hair loss won't bother you in the slightest; it'll only bother others (with full head of hair or not) who are insecure.

Lol justify it all you want.

The basic thing you need to understand from the knowledge in this video is that the hair needs to be shed in telogen, for new one to come up and take their place. Brushing the hair removes the ones that are meant to be shed causing almost no delay in starting the new anagen phase.

I'm 17 and currently having a receding hairline, it has been this way for a while and it all came with some terrible life effects.

But there is treatment, do not wait! Get on Minoxidil and Finasteride or Dutasteride if needed, discuss it with your doctor!
I was on Topical Minoxidil for a year and the growth was just amazing but sadly I had to stop because I'm sensitive to it(which is extremely rare by the way, so you don't have to worry and the side effects all went away after I stopped)
And I started Finasteride and Dutasteride, combined treatments and now I'm noticing growth finally again after I lost my Minoxidil gains
