The line "The School Bell Rings dangedangdang" is from a Korean children's song. Dangdang is also used for a cute puppy, which connects with Moonbyul quoting Twit lyrics in the ball corridor (which weirdly reminds me of the mirror corridor in I'm a B). They are using Alice in Wonderland. The two rabbits with the watch, in the flower garden fits, and it makes sense of the tea party, the change in size relative to the tent. Also another Korean speaker said that two rabbits is phrase meaning getting a lot, like "I came home with two rabbits. Another person said that blue and yellow are the only colors rabbits can see.
The blue and yellow rooms and outfits and the switch is referencing Mamamoo's Don't be Happy. After the first day of promoting Solar went back in the studio and spent all night rerecording with shy girl instead of shy boy. So their music shows have two with shy boy and two with shy girl.

per moomoos’ requests, solar went to the studio barely 24 hrs after the song released to re-record a version of the song that said “hey shy girl” instead of shy boy (which they then performed on 2/4 music shows). she mentioned going to record after a fansign and finishing at dawn. at another fansign, moonbyul also talked about not liking to include gendered terms in her lyrics (which she has constantly expressed) and that she hopes the company will listen to her when writing future songs. mamamoo are so incredibly inclusive and its so heartwarming to see how much effort they put into making sure everybody feels included as well as listening to their fans wishes.

Not even 24 hours after song release they went back to the studio and re-recorded the song with "shy girl" instead. And then they performed it on 2 big music shows. I love them so much! Are you gonna react to the rest of the songs on the album? It's out already. Starry Sea is my favorite.

The international scout jamboree Korea is hosting has turned into a bit of a national embarrassment and the government has stepped in to do some face saving. They have scheduled a major K-pop concert for the closing ceremony on Saturday evening and the current lineup lists Mamamoo OT4 as participating. Moomoos are cautiously hoping it happens. In the behind video for the MV, Solar and Byul talk about the meaning of dangdang. They mention the cute puppy, a bell ringing in your head like a sudden realization of attraction, and then cutely imply there are other meanings that they decide not to reveal. Perhaps sexual?
Just after I left the above comment, I found a video of Mamamoo OT4 at the jamboree concert, so it happened. must have been Friday evening.

This song - at least the chorus ' was originally written for Mamamoo as a whole and Hwasa had a hand in writing the chorus. It was replaced by "Starry Night". The Korean Herald had a good article.
I haven't seen any conspiracy theories, but have you noticed that in the last 3 songs where there are gendered lyrics, Moonbyul has played the role of the guy in each mv? I love that they changed "guy" to "girl" for 2 of their 4 come back performances.
About the group as a whole, the 2 of them have done an interview where they said they'd like to do more together but it is going to be extremely difficult for the 4 of them now. TLDR is they all still like each other, they are just really busy and now at 3 different agencies so we may have a very, very long wait.
😢 Awww I hope someday they'll perform a whole group version of this song that would be amazing! I had noticed that Moonbyul falls quite comfortably into the "boy" role if they have one in a lot of their videos and every time she bashes gender stereotypes in the face my heart soars 🥰

Fun info, someone asked Solar during a fancall, that if she could perform 1 song of BoA's (Solar's ultimate bias), what would it be... and Solar replied "Moon and Sunrise".. 👀😌
(p.s. Moon and Sunrise was released by BoA back in 2003, and Moonbyul had mentioned in a vlive that Solar used to sing this song to Byul during predebut days... 😌😌😌)
Edit to add: after Byul mentioned that, Solar was visibly flustered and pushed her and asked why did she tell the fans that and "why would I sing this song to you? 😳👀👀👀😳"
