Do not run. Stand calmly, wild boars are very fast runners. Best way to keep calm. If they do not feel attacked by you, they wont make you a harm. I live in the forest. I had hundreds meetings with them and they never attacked me. Just try to keep distance, do not provoke and keep calm. All the best to you from Poland. ❤❤❤
@@deadaccount4522 She must be preeeeeeeetty fucking used to people to permit this sort of interaction. When a mother sow is farrowing, she's apt to go into Blind Rage Mode when anything that doesn't look, smell, or act like any of the hogs in her sounder gets within goring range. Instinct generally overtakes reasoning during this part of their life, and to have so trusting an interaction with a human of all creatures during this time is like having a boar act the same way during the mating season when their testosterone is practically screaming KILL KILL FUCKING KILL at everything around them that isn't a sow.
Depends on the pig. A lot of wild ones will come to humans if they haven't had any negative interactions. Pigs are very smart and will remember how they've been treated.
My advice folks , do not try approaching a truly wild pig with piglets and be careful if taking a dog for a walk in an area where there are wild pigs .
Is the cameraman invisible or a ghost? Are they not really wild? Why are the protective mother sow and territorial father boar not utterly wiping him out of existence?
Tex Bacalian they are not domesticated. Not at all. Fully wild animals. This video is from Europe, and in many places we peacefully coexist with wild animals. Guess you are American...
Here in the US wild boars are a huge problem. They destroy acres of farm land and attack people. But maybe in different lands you are friends with them??? Here not so much.....
@Jeffrey Montgomery Does that really surprise you? They don't even live on that continent. There are a very small number of states in the US where they live "wild" aka feral because people kept them and then later released them for reasons such as...was an idiot? Who knows. Generally about 90% of animals that end up in a non-native habitat ends up damaging it because the ecosystem there has already developed with balance with the animals existing there, and introducing others disrupts that balance. Humans are also one of those species. We aren't meant to live in all of the places we do, and certainly not at the numbers we're at either. We are doing more damage than every other species combined has ever done, so although it is true that animals released where they don't belong can be a nuisance, I always find it hypocritical when people say they're a problem because humans are always the #1 problem, yet nobody is attempting to leave, reduce numbers by means of limiting reproduction, get rid if them, or even reduce the damage. It's hard to take it seriously when someone says an animal is "invasive" when the one saying it is 1000x worse and that's totally fine. Also, the boars are only an issue because of people. They put them there. If they hadn't, there would be no boar problem. So even that is a problem problem, not an animal problem. In Florida especially, where there are the most boars in the country, people releasing non-native pets continues to be a problem. My favorite animal ever that I want to keep so badly is no longer legal in the country because of Floridians releasing them and causing a nuisance "wild" population there.
My brain is confused between cuteness and thread because if I'd see one in real live in the Forrest I'd run for my life. Still beautiful creatures

Is that sow fully wild? I'm just amazed at how comfortable she is being close to humans.

It seems that wild boars have a much harder time securing food compared to domesticated ones. I wonder which group is happier in the end?
They are very lovely

Why are they letting you get so close. Are they wild or do you take care of them with food. What about the males.
How is Michael now?

I didn’t understand wild piglet coloring until now
I thought boar only referred to male pigs?
Bethel Mini Horas no, boar are a species. Boar are also a male of the species, just like man.

I was going to post the same thing, but this is a much more humorous version that have me a laugh.😂
Do they have contact with (many) other people besides you?

How did you tame a boar
Not wild. Descendants of wild pigs that were domesticated but untainted bloodline.

Pigs are not domesticated, farm pigs are the same species as wild boars.
The most educated doctor, MD or PhD, is of the same species as the cannibals of Papua New Guinea. Both are Homo Sapiens. No offense to Papuans.
