Thumbs up on the pfc-free coating. Thumbs down on the uncomfortable strap. Why can’t these high end companies pair a softer strap with their slings and messengers?
the patagonis are hard to find now for the price they were sold at before. online they go for $60+ and shipping which now seems like waaaay too much for what it is.
I have the $15 Outdoor Products Echo Waist Pack...I carry it sling style mostly. I couldn't believe my ipad mini 6 fit in there even with its thick leather case...it is GREAT!
It may be okay, but we would recommend something lighter like the Eagle Creek Packable Waist Bag. More information here: packhacker.com/travel-gear/eagle-creek/packable-waist-bag/ -Eric

I like this simple and small to carry my EDC items, thank you
I just bought, it’s pretty good but can feel a bit uncomfortable aligned over the shoulder on the back
Thanks for sharing your insights! 🤙

Not yet; thanks for the suggestion! I’ll pass it along 😃

Arcane vs Patagonia Black hole sling comparison would be cool.
Hi Cole! I’ve passed this along to the team. Thanks for the suggestion!

Dimensions, man, holy fuck. What is it with Americans and listing the size in every other way than actual measurements?
We have thorough measurements in the full review: packhacker.com/travel-gear/osprey/arcane-waist/
Can this "easily" fit a kindle?
I'm also curious about that.
