With a buddy doing WT1 invaded, we do the 4 missions on the right part of the map and restart. I already have 2 chars with all specializations maxed, if I wasn't so lazy probably could have all 4 ready to go already.
@@rodzera23 You or your friend need a char in Wt1 that has all missions. So the person that hasn't one joins that char world. Char with the missions quit the session and the person can join with a char which needs the specialization points. After the 4 missions are done, hense and repeat. aslong the char that has the missions is not in the session he wont complete them.
Bounties are a good source of spec points only at the beginning. There are 2 types of bounties: "one time only" and "random generated". These "one-time" bounties will net you spec points (mostly 3 but some even 5) and "random generated" not. After you get 50-80 points from this activity, new bounties will not give you any points. Don't matter if these new bounties are from Snitch, Daily or from NPC drops (if you have 50 intel, then every "Public Execution" event will give you bounty instead of Intel points). The exception from this rule is Black Tusk bounties from Daily - they still giving me spec points. Also, stay away from HEROIC bounties if solo. They are very hard, enemies are like in control points 4 fights (tons of HP, very aggressive and can kill you in 1 shot).
you only get points for doing bounties that have the bullseye icon next to them, the others dont give points. also i did 6 bounties on tuesday and havent gotten any new bounties that give points other than a heroic difficulty bounty i didnt do...
ooberallen I have completed those red market bounties and received specialization points. But this has been several weeks ago. Why are they not resetting for me? Since then, I’m only having those white bounties without any points as rewards. I’m WT2 at the moment.
At the same time, its wise to to make a XP focussed build. Every LevelUp Cache gives you 3 Specialization points and you can increase the rate of acquisition by 30-40%.
Doing your daily mission-based projects gets you a few specialization points too if you're out of Intel. There's one hard and two challenging that can come up, and you can either solo them or do them grouped if you need. Great tips!
In my experience, only black tusk bounties and weekly bounties(layer-by-layer) give Specialization points. Unless you've unlocked the bounties and didn't finished them, joining others wouldn't grant any points. The fastest way I could say, is to help communities' with WT1-3 to complete their invaded missions. After all , you can check the rewards before doing any bounties.
If you jump in the matchmaking for bounties you'll get thrown into a group and you wont have to spend the Intel. The only thing is you might end up doing a bounty you already completed.
In WT4 on PS4, at least, I have noticed the que times are always instant. A lot of times I have been put into a group right in the middle of the action or at the kill shot.
@@huntedghostsnero7035 Yeah, I dont think you get anything from clearing a bounty you have already cleared. I think there is a weekly reset on bounties though.
@@NothingButSkillz but i love level 3 cause you can do it solo a pain but worth it for those beautiful blueprints just got a 7.62 extended mag +30 rounds but minus 5% weapon damage but I can easily get that back
Thanks for the tip/info. Is this still valid +8 months later? Getting back into D2 after a long break (since pre-raid), and want to do some relaxing solo grinding.
I don't understand what you mean by easy bounties. The ones on my map have a minimum of three and as many as eight and it takes me sometimes hours to do one of the set. I have to kill dozens of enemies just to reach the bounty location. What you show looks easy, why are my bounties so hard?
So you get skill points from some bountys? Iv completed every mission and done a few of them special requirement targets and got bugger all. I am about ready to sell it. What am i doing wrong? Theres still no yellow trangles on the map.
Do the specialization point missions reset as you move up a world tier? For example if I was on wt1 and did all the invaded missions and just 1 stronghold to move up to wt2, will all the invaded missions reset once I move up to wt2?
Damn! I don't think they do... I'm only in WT2 and the 2 invaded missions I did too get to the stronghold did not reset when I advanced. It shouldn't be too much trouble, though. Once you take down another stronghold, you'll advance another WT. It's just going to be more of a grind for you as each stronghold is locked by gear score and this score goes up with every WT. WT2 is 275, WT3 is 325 and WT4 is 375. I'm sure that will make WT5 425.

Don't sell those things man. Random people patrolling need kid socks and weird stuff . They prolly gotta jerk it into the sock idk what the civilians do it's a fucked up world. Plus you get like 20k xp from some of them or you can sell them for 10 credits per 1. Not worth it lol
I personally think that the single player game, is twice as hard as a couple or a group, you get the same amount of enemies as a group, and fair enough they don't hit as hard, but it is also twice as hard to prevent them surrounding you and killing you off , single players should get more exp points than a group or a couple because they are working twice as hard. Also the calling for back up is a total joke, I mean, I often help but I'm going to stop helping now because when I need the help NO one comes to help. Why should i help other people progress and level up when, all I'm doing is being left behind. There should also be rules in clans that if you say your a helpful clan and then you don't help, they just use our exp points, then the clan should be flagged up as an unhelpful clan which would assist people of what clan there joining and what there actually getting in return for there point donation. Yeah this is my opinion. If the Devs do not intend this to be a single player game they should not sell it as one a single player can do. I have already joined 3 SO called helpful clans and then promptly left.
Best way to get someone join you from my own experience is not to use the call for backup option. Start your activity (being a mission or bounty), then switch your option social->group privacy->open group, then wait, this way your current activity is thrown into the matchmaking activity pool when people are looking for this activity. I often get people joining me this way (depending hours and the type of activity you started you may wait more or less, let's say more chances people join you for a bounty, main mission/invaded mission/stronghold for instance, i wouldn't do that for a side mission). The trick is to start the activity (it should be displayed upper left of your screen), then open your group as public, then wait, you can start playing, but usually i'd wait in cover so the people joining me wouldn't be spoiled missing half of the content.
The “normal” and “hard” bounties can be done solo easily enough. The “challenging” and “heroic” are no joke. Lul @ level 4 control points are “easy”. You do not lose intel if you fail a bounty. Your intel is spent upon completing the specific bounty so don’t worry about losing intel if you fail.
