Excellent work on a cool piece of material! I just have one question, why compact the top of the left trunk so drastically? Before, both trunks had a majestic thin literati feel, after it feels unbalanced - one thin literati and one standard low domed pine, almost feels like two different styles in the same pot. Was there some technical reason for this I couldn't see in the vid, or was it in an attempt to make the left trunk subordinate to the right by making its height shorter. This second point I mention strikes me as curious b/c it appears the trunk you shortened is the thicker of the two from the "front" you present, wouldn't that by default meant the right hand trunk (being thinner and less vertical) becomes subordinate? Again, outstanding job, just curious from a visual standpoint.
Think of the raffia as an ace bandage, it applies compression to the cambium layer so it doesn't split when severe bends are applied to trunk/branches.
There is a lot more to it than that You should read up Involves pruning roots back regularly and wiring bending and shaping branches and lots more NOT just throwing a tree in a pot !
I would love to see a playlist for your music over past videos, tree looks amazing
So crazy.
Reminds me of a DRAGON! Very nice

Nice job! Thanks for sharing! I would remove the trunk higher, with the right trunk I’ll use for a Jin!
Manuel Castro exactly what I thought
Tom Tom if you at some point get this idea done! Please upload the video with the change!
Impressive transformation as usual!
Cheers,
Hans van Meer.
Nice creation Bjorn Bjorholm
excited for the next vlog
Monster pine! Good job boys..
That's one hell of a great transformation guys - well done :)
Can't believe how far down you were able to bend the branch on the top left
Wow amazing for bonsai...👍👍👍
Thank you so much for sharing great video!
This video 😍😍😘

Where do you get your heavier gauge aluminum or copper wire for these larger manipulations?
like
So you are in Mallorca again Bjorn?
What kind of #bonsai is this?
👏👏👏👏👏
Is the wrapping of the tree to protect it from the wire?
Yes
Not so much to protect the tree from the wire. It's to prevent the branch from splitting when making extreme bends.
That tree’s considered niwaki or imperial bonsai status
GOOD
what are those yellowish wraps and what are their purpose?
monkeyy , wet raffia, enables severe bending without breaking,(hopefully)😱
They are raffia, it's a natural plant that supports the branch and allows a tighter bend, without it the branch would/could break.
Think of the raffia as an ace bandage, it applies compression to the cambium layer so it doesn't split when severe bends are applied to trunk/branches.

If you put a TREE inside a pot i gues you can call it bonsai.. maybe??Idk
vagizz all bonsais are trees you idiot... it’s he art of making a miniature replica of the real thing and making it look as old as possible

pls wipe the pot. so dusty
