I was there on business, so seeing a fully in tact African American family walking down the street, in the mall, or the grocery store was overwhelming for them. Particularly for the locals in the provinces who rarely see African Americans. They thought I was an NFL player, and my beautiful wife was Beyonce! It was a great opportunity to expose the true nature of our lives and connect with people, and my children benefited immensely. Still have many lifelong friends from the experience. You and I are part of the enlightenment. 😎

My children traveled via the Jeepney's often, even though we had a personal driver, because I wanted them exposed to the realities of life throughout the world. @-t96 practice speaking with the locals as much as you can. Keep away from just learning fundamentals or grammar in books. It won’t help that much. Focus more on speaking with the locals

It's so mind opening to see how open-minded and welcoming Chinese people are. We hear so much negativity about other races and we form opinions about them without any experience. To be honest i didn't expect Chinese girls to have such a good and positive vibe towards african brothers. It makes sense why some western men are searching for women in other parts of the world

I never felt uncomfortable walking through the many cities I visited. Suggestion: Try to visit Chengdu. The spicy food is delicious. Thank you for making these connections with the Chinese people. Awesome video. My best friend is Chinese American, married to a black man and I've experienced that same curiosity and hospitality growing up with her and her family. Glad to see it extends outside of the US as well. Growing up in California (San Diego) allowed me to intermingle with various ethnic backgrounds and gain appreciation for everyone.
