Thank you Mel, I am going to show this video to my daughter, we almost lost her 6 years ago, and she has suffered a brain injury as well, she has made huge accomplishments, learned how to walk again, and she has recently gone back to school, and graduated and now works in a hospital in admittance ,but she is fighting depression, since the accident and I think she has nor fully accepted how awesome she is now ,her new self , and how amazing she is as she did not accept what doctors were telling her and she went out and succeeded with all that she has wanted to accomplish, thank you I think she needs to hear this from someone other then family !!

Thank you Mel!!! About four and a half months ago I suffered a series of events in my life that one of which would have been sufficient for a short detour and I have BEEN feeling derailed but I can see that things are better and they are going to continue to get even better and I needed this short video to remind me of how to take control of my consciousness and to remember to direct my thoughts for the better. Thank you!

So important because any success in life, no matter the definition, requires energy to do so. The more energy you have the higher your ceiling.

Mel, I subscribed earlier this morning, a few videos ago. I thought you were on point with your approach, but after watching this segment with the woman who suffered a brain injury, I’m convinced that it’s your compassion that makes it so powerful. Thank you, that was wonderful how you helped her with the realization of who she now is and acceptance of that, while doing it with compassion, care, concern and honest guidance. I’m in!

Thnku Mel , i wrote down in my own version which I will to tell myself... This video actually helped me, i was feeling Guilty of wasting my precious 20s studying a course, and now I'm 28 still doing it. And every day i regret the time whch i lost..( rear view) but u made me look in the windshield. . Whch can actually take me to places... As we just see rear view 10% to not repeat mistakes and windshield 90% times to move ahead... Thnku so much

I still do at times. This is a blessing for me. Instead of encouragement, I received, still receive discouragement. So Thank You , and you are making a difference ❤❤ Love sent to the young lady.❤❤

Easier said than done because our survival instincts try to keep us locked into the old and the familiar. This is how the brain is constructed to keep our temporary human bodies alive so it thinks the habits are necessary for survival and therefore they become very hard to break.
but the heart is eternal and is not concerned with your human survival and therefore not subject to such programming so the more you can vibrate from the heart the easier it will be to change the programming and NOT fall back into old habits.

You're one of the few people to teach that, @Mel Robins, which is the only way to learn life, that's the "process of Educating" ourselves, especially since it means "learning by reasoning the how, what, when and why" of all things. That's why many small children sickens their parents with those questions. But because of their ignorance of the answers they school their children to accept without understanding a thing in detail.

This works for ptsd like domestic violence too right? It seems to fit perfectly! I feel like I lost a huge part of me, almost all of me, then. I keep wishing it never happened and I keep trying to be who I was before it happened. This just made me realize... I can never be who I was before it happened because... It happened! This may be the best key for ptsd omg! Thank you!

Embrace the new person trying to come out. That was a part of her years ago but there is a new side of her that wants to, so to speak come out of the closet. Let her come out because it's like the beef being sandwiched into two layers and never feeling free because you're constantly changing, constantly evolving in life into the person you want to become and I think she could become a fighter now, she has to achieve a greater goal for herself and of course grieve what she lost but embrace the new person she's in the process of becoming ❤️
