I've got the all metal one. When I installed mine I couldn't get it to line up so ended up putting bits of paper inside the ball part to make it a tighter squeeze on the stick, then kept adding more until it lined up perfectly 😆
I just bought the whole set, Gear knob, alloy oil cap, alloy Fuel cap, alloy pedals, and Sill protectors, £149 on Ebay, first i thought it was fake parts, but when i got em they had the genuine part numbers, also weird is some of the parts are made in Italy, and some in Poland lol, im guessing someone has pinched some upgrade kits, cos my Abarth dealer was quoting me 700 quid fitted 😳
The metal part on mine is totally destroyed. Maybe the previous owner got rings or something… also the carbon is yellowed. I find the shift gear knob very comfortable but bad looking.
Thanks for the video, really clear and helpful, will be doing mine this weekend, too.

Does your carbon pipe keep spinning or was it held in place after you put the knob in
Where did you get the thread adapter from?
I am looking for the exact gear knob. Do you mind sharing the seller's details?
I have had a look and they were a private seller, there is one available on eBay at this moment in time but slightly more expensive than what I paid

So common, you see it alot as people get frustrated with them as they can be challenging
