Only thing that this video helped me do so far is know what my caliper looks like. I picked up a 79 cb400 and its missing its caliper. Now I know what to look for in the junkyard. Nice video!
Where can i buy the caliper rebuilt kit? Went to the cycle store but didnt seem to find one. Had two delivered and they were both wrong. My caliper seems to be exactly the same as yours. One piston with one ring sealer.
@wrongturn320 I think we run all the yankees off for the summer.... It's usually fall when they are at their most annoying... summertime is the Southern vacation from the Yankees and we dont even have to go nowhere

Does not seem necessary to remove the caliper just to push those pins out and remove /replace the pads. Pin type designs are meant for ease of maintenance. All also possible without the use of unnecessary profanity and political stereotyping.
If you dont remov em you a: cost yourself 1/2 hour of dorking around and B: dont get to see how badly rusted they are (which they are every now and again) ...

Yup same procedure, bolts are in about the same spot and it's the same 2 bolts you pull
