I'm a network/sys admin and still always learning. This channel has been amazing in helping me learn new things and reinforce or remind me of things I knew. Thank you so much for all your work.

I would like to see a video with a computer having a real freeze issue and where you explain how to investigate using these logs collected by the eventvwr. I see a lot of videos on what tool to use in case of X or Y on a perfectly working VM but they never show how to find the solution to a real issue. At my job I often use these tools but TBH they rarely drive me to the root cause of the issue. Most of the time, what event-viewer tool is telling me, is what I have already found/guessed by myself...
keep up the good job, I see you have increased your videos uploads speed and that's a good news :)

Great point, I will be looking to some case studies and see if we can find real problems and see how they used tools to resolve the issue. One of the dilemmas of this approach is that you see a real problem and the real solution, but your next problem is nothing like the one you just solved. Thanks for the input!

You can also look at Firewall logs with connections going out, due to malware . You should also include Microsoft and browser patches causing the hangs

Thanks for another great video. Can you create a video on reviewing CPU's, GPU's and HDD/SDD. What to look for when purchasing a laptop/desktop and which are better performing components? for example there are various I7's for Intel and AMD has there line as well. Very confusing. Thanks.

Nick, that is the point, manufactures want it to be confusing! If it was clear and easy to understand most folks would know exactly what and when to buy. Good news online reviews from PC Mag www.pcmag.com/, www.tomshardware.com/, www.anandtech.com/ are all objective in most of their reviews. These are good places to make decisions.

I would be cautious about recommending Kaspersky after US Homeland Security has recommended against it & banned it in US govt departments. I prefer MalwareBytes + ensuring Windows Defender is left on. Great content otherwise though.

You are correct, for business needs I would not recommend this product. With the Russian-Ukraine issue it may encourage Kaspersky to make a clean cut with Russia. But both Kaspersky and Bitdefender are two of the most effective anti-virus/malware product consumers can purchase.
