Always, but always remove the negative (-) connector from the battery before removing the airbag! 😁👍

Hello. Is it the same to work on Audi Q7 4l? Is it enough to buy just the cruise control lever or must I change everything like you did?
Hi! It’s the same work. You need to check the code of your steering wheel module if it support cruise control. If it doesn’t, you need to buy a module, as I did.
Any idea whether itl work on a A6 c7? Have everything installed . But VCDS doesn't show engine coding info
Hi! I’m not sure. It must be similar. By coding info you refer to the pop-up labels which shows which bute does what, right?
for an audi a3 2018 can it be done the same way through vcds?
Hi! I don’t know for sure how the process is, but it’s clear that it’s not so different. For sure, VCDS can be used for coding, but also other diagnosis tools. 👍

also getting stability control warning, and Airbag fault (Resistance is too high), Is my spring bad or what? when trying to calibrate steering wheel, angle is changing..
Hi! Sorry for my late reply. Yes, I would first try with a new (second hand) clock spring. Or maybe you did it already meanwhile 😁

How do I complete the coding part? Do I need an obd scanner? Can I get a cheap one?
Hi! I use VCDS, but there are other options also (carly, obd11…)

Can you list the part numbers please finding a lot for A4 B8.5 but not many for B8
Hi, for A4 B8 u need 8K0953502BD for the cuise control unit and 8K0953568F ( in some cases for 2011 and above models could be 8K0953568G ) for the midle spire witch controls the stearing angle sensor.
I know im very late to ask this question. What shall i do for my audi a4 b8.5. 2012. As it doesnt have cruise control. Which is very annoying as i travel alot. And i dont have laptop to connect. What should i do. Any suggestions. What parts or things i need? Or shall i go to some technician. As im sure it will cost much more. 😢
Hi! You will not make it work without using a diagnose tool for coding. So if you have no laptop you can use some apps on the phone with a OBD addaptor like carly or OBDeleven (there are others too).

And is there anyway to know first hand that does my car support cruise control are not. Bcz I don't want to do all the effort to find out it doesn't support and doesn't work. Thanks in advance. 😊
Hi! Please whatch the complete video (with no skip). At a certain point it I think I added a table with PNs that support cc. You need to read your PN from the steering column module and determine if it needs replacement or not.

@@istillplaywithcars Salut, codarile erau bune, manetele si spira conforme, dar era un ansamblu de manete stat cam mult , probabil a prins ceva praf.. am apasat de mai multe ori butonul"set", am tot "zapacit" maneta si si-a dat drumul 🙂 Functioneaza perfect acum. Multumesc , clipul tau mi-a fost foarte folositor, succes in tot ceea ce faci.

Hi! If you refer at the buttons at the end of the wiper lever, they are for scrolling inside the cluster menu.

Hello, the Cruise Control is installed and working Ok in my A4 B8 1.8 TFSI 2012 Sedan (I finally installed levers 8K0 953 502 BD) everything works perfect 🎉

I guess you did a “rear wiper delete”. Or the former owner.
Some people like it this way, it has a much cleaner look. I also like it, but I like the posibility to clean the rear window when it’s raining even more 😂👍

I know this is an old video, but I have a question, I have an Audi A4 B8.5 with cruise control, is it possible to upgrade it to adaptive cruise control, and does anyone know how to do it?
I think yes, it’s possible. But probably not so easy. I don’t know how to help. I can only assume you will need radar, a new cc module, probably a new ABS pump/unit… 🤷♂️

Hi! I don’t really remember but it depends if the Steering column module needs to be replaced. Probably around 100-110€ for me
