Eh... I don't compare it to American Comics. To be honest, I understand manga (Japanese Comics) much more than comic books. It because they are just doing one story throughout many different title books and the constant changes to the original timeline and a different story within a different universes. Point is, American comics just keep multiplying just for a good cash grab. Sure manga does that, but not to the point where I don't get confuses real easily.
