      Thank you! I don’t understand how any of these comments say it’s good. They must be using a different machine with the same name because this one…exactly like your said.

    He is SO RIGHT! I owned Gazelle total body years ago and always have wished I had kept it when I moved to another state. It toned my glutes, stomach, thighs ,calves, and triceps in a remarkable way. So I complained enough that my husband saw this thing on Amazon and thought it looked fairly similar and surprised me with it. First of all, it doesn’t support very much weight. But the most important is there is no resistance to adjust on this machine. It does absolutely nothing. I would consider myself one of the older people. I just turned 50 and I can get a better workout taking the 5 stairs on my front porch than an hour in this piece of crap. I can’t even imaging that it would be an option for ANYONE over 70 who needs a smooth cardio. The machine is very unstable and I can get on it for 60 minutes and not break a sweat. And TRUST ME. I am not very “in shape” right now but wanted to be. Not happening with this!

    I just bought this Air Walk from Walmart for $89 and at first I too didn't quite get it. Was thinking 'Man, I gotta haul this thing to the store?'. So I kept messing with it. I knew leaning forward into the stomach pad with bent knees made it a bit more challenging and surpisingly did a good job of simulating walking up a slight hill. But then it occurred to me that my use of the handle bars was wrong. You have to resist their movement (oppose your leg effort) and it makes the entire machine quite challenging like a brisk walk up an incline. I push on the bars now (always pushing), leaning forward, with slightly bent knees to make my legs work harder. If you haven't returned it yet, I highly recommend you give it another try. In 5 minutes you'll be sweating. I also found that you can do the reverse and always pull on the bars and oppose your hamstring muscles (biceps femoris). Then once you get the hang of it, you can push and pull on the bars but always opposing leg effort. It's a great leg work out...shoulders too.

      No problem @TheLastHonestInfluencer . Hopefully by adding some resistance, it'll work better for you. I did 30 minutes on it today, with the count reaching about 2200 (4400 total steps, a little over 2 miles worth of air walking) and my quads were really feeling it. And it's crazy, but my calves were near smoked. The cardio aspect was very similar to what I get walking the trail that circles my town center. My heart rate was 115 to 120 most of the time. Not a lot of sweat, but I was definitely burning some extra calories.

    I have to believe that the Sunny fitness air glider, is a least good for a cardio workout. The comments from
    the influencer were really harsh. I have one, and yes I’m one of the “old people “ you mentioned, and I feel
    great after I use it. So I just wanted to make a comment, that people use things differently than others, and
    to say it’s a piece of crap is only your observation and I Disagree

      Very very strange that all of a sudden I'm getting comments that all sound exactly the same..on this SPECIFIC video all at the same time..written by paid people or BOTS. Obviously.
      Nice try you shills. This machine is not good, the review is accurate. Sorry the opinion is strong and I gave you an angle with which to attack it.

    All you have to do is remove the stomach pad and range becomes much wider. I get a great workout on this thing because I lean way forward and then way backward. It's very sturdy so that I don't lose my balance and fall off. The only reason the pad is on there is so that you get used to the flow. After you get comfortable, remove the pad and see what happens.

      @@patley1600 don’t give up on using your knees! Have you heard of the knees over toes guy? I destroyed my knee ice climbing. Couldn’t walk. If you didn’t have a gym membership and wanted to do a whole body workout at home, what 3-5 pieces of equipment/set-ups would you go for? Stationary bike? Barbell with a weight set?

    • @TheLastHonestInfluencer
      @TheLastHonestInfluencer  6 месяцев назад +1

      great question! what are your goals? If its lose weight then yes, i'd get a recumbent bike or rower. If you want to tone and build muscle I'd get the row n ride original and dumbbells or kettle bells and do Shawn T type plyometrics in addition to the weights. Assuming a $500 budget.

    • @anipond7384

      @@TheLastHonestInfluencer I’m looking to tone and build muscle! Funnily enough, I just bought the sunny row and ride after coming from your other video. Any tips for using? I was thinking I can do short bursts like HIIT, and longer ~20 min sessions with less resistance. Also I see Sunny has a RUclips page with some vids. I’ll look up Shaun T. Never used a kettlebell before! I’m a bit worried about it going through a window lol

      @@anipond7384 that's a valid concern and a real possibility with sweaty hands 🤣 be careful!!
      I think you've got a solid plan with a HIIT cardio and longer sessions. That will build solid legs and glutes. Even just some push ups and light weights for your upper body could round things out nicely!

    I'm not trying to defend Sunny Health and Fitness, but I wonder if this is a case of a design that's just inherently bad no matter how good the quality. My mother bought an air walk type trainer decades ago. I tried it out and it's just not good, even though it has way more range of motion that this thing. Anyway, I appreciate your videos. I want to get back into inline skating and before I bought a pair I binge-watched all of your inline skating reviews. Your insight was helpful.

    • @TheLastHonestInfluencer
      @TheLastHonestInfluencer  6 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks for your input and insight, much appreciated. Great to know as this is the only air walk device I’ve ever tried, I’d have to agree with you I think it’s just a bogus design period.
      Very happy to know you found the inline videos helpful! Definitely most passionate about inline skating, it’s the best. Stoked you’re getting back into it! Can’t wait till the snow melts here. Have a good one and thanks again!

    • @MikeXCSkier
      @MikeXCSkier 6 месяцев назад +1

      @@TheLastHonestInfluencer Since you're up in Canada, have you tried cross-country skiing using the skate style? Trail fees are much cheaper than lift tickets. The equipment is also cheaper than downhill ski equipment, at least for beginner and intermediate equipment, and the boots tend to be more comfortable than downhill boots. With your inline background you would be able to learn XC skiing in no time. And you won't need to wait for the snow to melt.

    The glide length is good for people under 5 foot 4 inches with a shorter stride. This guy seems to be taller. So is he accurate for his body size. The foot rest are very flimsy. If you are into zone training, I find it a challenge to stay within zone 2. I am often alerted that I am in zone 3. I hope this helps.
