i would add "sonne" by rammstein, it doesn't get any easier
You could add nearly every Rammstein song on here to be fair a great band for beginners yet even if your intermediate or experienced there still fun to play and are absolutely brilliant in you like improvising solos
I loved that you delivered on the Billy Talent content!!! Also Ich Will is a sick and easy to learn riff.
Last Resort and Fat lip made me feel 13 years old again so thank you for the trip down the memory lane lol.
More Billy Talent!!! 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Awesome video man! Also, Don't Look Back is one of my favorite albums too.
This is epic. Have been struggling/ working on drop d. Subscribed & bell dinged. Great lesson.⚡️🎸🤘🏻
I kept expecting a Boston riff because of the album in the background. Not sure they actually have any Drop D riffs though, but that's what made it interesting!
Maylene and the Sons of Disaster play mostly in Drop D and they’re one of my favorites to play, their first 2 albums.
@@projectDominic heck yeah! I’m partial to Mind of a Grimes and Darkest of Kin
Dude your stuff is really great!
Good stuff!
The nine inch nails riff, is it just me or am I hearing you really got me 😭
How do you not have more viewers?
Your stuff kicks ass.
An easy Billy Talent guitar part is rare as unicorns
Hpw do you get that tone in the first riff? That's so sick
Yeah now drop d is powerful...you can have a blast jammin.carry on...
On Omerta i use that picking technique as the full techniqe
Given Up instead of Last Resort would suit better imo :D
Yeah, Given Up would have been even easier... but adding Last Resort felt a bit more spicy.
I was going to suggest My Own Summer by Deftones is a fun one to play, but looks like they actually tune down to Drop Db/C#.
This is huge.
Do you tune the E string to D with an APP
or by Ear, and if you are using the app can you share it ?
Relative tuning will help a lot here. If you don’t know how to do that, you’ll want a chromatic tuner app. I use Soundcorset
It's pretty easy to tune to drop D.
You just have to know a Drop D riff in the first place, that uses the low E (now low D) string, and drop it till it sounds about right.
The easiest method is by ear: tune down the E string to where you think it should be, then do harmonic on the 12th fret (just lightly touch the string instead of actually pressing it down), and then hit the open high E (3rd string down). Keep tuning until they match and there is no “wobbling” sound between the 2 notes. Hope that helps
Merci \m/
ROCK ON AND ROCK LOUD
New Divide by Linkin Park also seems relatively manageable.
Fat lip is standard tuning
what amp are you playing in this video ? the vox ?
No, I use digital amps for most of my videos. Just for ease of use of course - the Vox sounds amazing.
R'u wearing "batik" bro?
I’ve just realised how bad I am as none of those seem easy to me 😂😭
Same)
How long have you been playing?
For years I held myself back saying " it's too difficult ". But if you have some years of playing, your muscle memory works faster than you think. Play it slow, then build it up with a metronome.
@@MrDeBisschop Some good advice there thank you. Started by learning the pentatonic scale and working up the BPM as I got more comfortable. Nailed it and thought it’d open up so much more, but it didn’t. Muscle memory is doing its bit but I’ve been playing solidly for 6 months, played briefly 10 years ago so knew the basics to a degree. One day it’ll just click, just patiently waiting 😂
