Just saw midnight at abq launchpad. Remember them saying someone stole one of the iron professers mask. It felt like an honor to give him mine. Turns out the guy who stole it turned it in and i got my mask back. In return the professor gave me some drumsticks. Ive been listening to midnight for years and as a huge fan of them to have that happen and me to offer mine was the highlight of the night for me. I wanted to get athenar autograph at the end of the show but he had some groupies basically swallowing him 😆 so i couldnt get it. I wasnt mad though. Cause i know ill see him next time midnight comes down amazing band with a rotten sound. Dudes kill it everytime i see them.
Somehow ive seen Midnight 4 times in less than a year Oct Vegas w Danzig, New Years SLC with Visigoth, Hells Heroes and Morro Bay last week with Exciter. Amazing every single time. Great stuff Nate
I got to see both Midnight and Spirit Adrift here in Texas. Great show. I became a midnight fan that day. Especially I became of that Jubilee the guitarist was playing through. 🤣👊💪
Pre-internet : Going to the newsstand to read as many magazines as you can, just so you can find out what bands your favorite bands like! Extra score when you did a deep dive on the bands they had on their t-shirts in the magazine photos. It’s how I discovered St. Vitus!

Your band/album suggestions have been outstanding, many of them I somehow missed on through the years. So, big thanks for that. Interviews have all been cool. I can tell you have a genuine love for this stuff and are a lifer. Quite refreshing. Also....props for mentioning Joe Bob Briggs once. Mutant Fam. Ha! Keep up the good work, man.

The easy way is to sit back and say the old stuff is better. Too many folks do that. The kids are doing amazing things. Hell the old dudes are doing amazing new things too. Never stop learning and growing IMO.
Love Midnight, what's the Motorhead worship band Midnight does/did... White Spade or White Bell? It might have been an EP but I swore they did a show under White Bell before Or something like that? Stoked on the Angry Samoans Shout out! Naked Raygun-Understand ftw .. best Pink Floyd album is ,"Meddle".
