THE DIVISI STICKING IS BACK On the long Spock roll for the tenor lick, this is what's happening: -The person furthest left is playing 4-2 -The tallest player is playing 3's -Center tenor is playing paradiddlediddles -The player directly right to the center player is playing 4-2-2-4 -The person on the far right is playing 2-4
@@nicokozak6635 I’m not a percussionist so I don’t know exactly the sticking but they seem to do a split on that spock roll or at least alternate left/right sticking between each quad. You can see in the music it goes back to “unison” after a few counts and they join back together. Hope it helped, I’m no expert lol edit Yeah they seem to be alternating so one person has one of the rolls on right hand while another has it on left at the same time. I’m a brass player so if I’m wrong sorry ✋😭

Picking up right where they left off last year, but more accurate and smooth. This tenor line is incredible, sound quality, uniformity of technique, and clean on cold attack poly rhythms and (the best tell for tenor lines imo) clean on the spock drum!! Big boy’s left hand pinky needs a talking too at times, but hey… who’s looking 😊
Dude on the left has the best mark-time technique I've ever seen. Upper body barely moves
