well in my opinion, it's all about them and musics. all the things that they have sacrifices before debut and also after debut. In 3 years, how they have became one team named BTS, their feelings on stage, dealing with haters, that they will still be themselves, and their life where they have to struggle to become an artist. they are born singer.
Veronica Rivera Back at the start of their career, people would call him ugly. There were a lot of shit that happened. There were times that some netizens would tell him to leave the group, etc. So, that lyric is like a lowkey diss to those haters... But look at him now and the rest of the members... They're maturing but at the same time, the same, meme-y and talented Bangtan... I'm so proud. 😍😭
hoshi's hipthrusts will haunt your dreams tonight hank you so much for your reply! Wow that’s sad. I think he is soooo cute. He’s the first one I noticed lol. I’m so happy about their success too, in the little amount of time I’ve been a fan I can see how much they deserve all this. They are so extremely talented and genuinely amazing me !!
Listening to this song after We are bulletproof: the eternal, and... It just gets an entirely new feeling. They've really achieved success and happiness, after 7 years of hard work. 7 years of blood, sweat and tears.
Same. You know you’re a true army if this song brings tears to your eyes. Our boys have come so far. They have prospered and are getting the love And respect they’ve always deserved.
For me, this is the most fitting song to be added in their anthology album. It describes their journey as a band, their struggles, worries, and triumphs. It describes BTS
bts sang this in front of their parents, their family attended this concert...bts singing born singer in front of their parents with many fans gives me different type of feelings, they're for sure proud of them no matter what because their sons were born to be a singer
The rap-line all killed their parts. J-hope's "Every moment I make sure not to lose my integrity, to always be myself so I don't embarrass the me from the beginning" really speaks to the character of BTS. No matter how successful and high they become, they never forget their roots and their original morals.
Namjoon is so under rated. I wish more ppl show him love. Love u rm. Ure the best rapper, best leader. Edit:when I mean under rated, it mean the popularity among the members. Namjoon's video always got the lowest views, merchandise always the last to sold out etc. I heart for him
Lol Not any more....If the 2013 Namjoon sees the 2019 Namjoon UN speaker , World class artist, LEADER of the biggest boy band in the world ....he would be fucking proud !
@@btspavedthewaythefact157 nope. Not now. Did you know that korean army planted a lot of trees in his recent birthday? And almost in every survey, k-army's keep saying that their ideal guy is rm💖
I mean under rated. Its compare to the maknae. His official merchandise is always the last to sold out. His fans are not as many as the maknae. The hyung lines, i adore and heartache for them
He is my bias and I really believe that he has opened doors to conversations about mental health, his journey which is ongoing, hopefully, if it makes a difference to 1 person, prevents ideation then I am as always proud of him but more so than ever.
What’s awesome is that in the 2017 performance of this song, he actually changed the lyrics to “Hey kid whats your dream? Mine is to be the real me, can’t you feel”. I love seeing the small lyrical changes they do, because you can see their growth in mindset- 2017 Namjoon wants to be the real him, whilst 2013 Namjoon just wanted to be a rapper.
the rapline's verses are so personal so emotional, especially yoongi and namjoon because back then their underground rapper peers were looking down on them and saying they've changed and betrayed the hiphop industry for going the idol route, so when yoongi says "This is how I am, did something about me change before your eyes? Damn Shit I'm still me, without change I keep my essence " and when namjoon says "I'm fucking real, "hey kid whats your dream?" Mine is to become a rapstar can't you feel" and they way you can tell they want to just scream those words out to the world, that they are the same despite the hate and stereotypes placed on them just because of the "idol" label. Now they've really achieved it, they become the global artist that they were born to be
Ahh yes ignore Hoseok like most do. You need to acknowledge Hoseok suffered from major depression and stress. He would constantly overwork himself. "I'm drenched with my blood sweat and tears." "Every moment I make sure not to lose my integrity To always be myself, so I don't embarrass the me from the beginning". You don't realize that how thats signifying his confidence in himself. He's afraid of how he is because he doesn't want to embarras himself or others.
@@shadowpelt7679 I dont think the person didnt intend to “ignore Jhope”. They said that the raplines lyrics were very emotional ESPECIALLY Namjoon and Yoongi. But yess your comment about Jhope needed to be said. Others should know about what he went through and appreciate him. Back then, Jhope received barely any fan mail while the other members received some. I can’t imagine how he must have felt. It hurts me that some people didnt show the support he deserved. But as the years went by, they gained more international fans and more people started to appreciate him. Also, Namjoon said somewhere that Jhope is the backbone of BTS. He is truly amazing and hardworking. His music and himself as a person inspires me so much. :)))
the fact that this will be the first track on their anthology album. PROOF that their journey towards becoming the biggest band in the world was not easy
Kim seokjin - the one that helped took care of 6 precious boys Thank you . Min Yoongi - The one that was passionate for music and lifting the musical life in bangtan . Thank you . Jung Hoseok - The one that ignored all hates from haters and antis for the real ARMYs that care for him and for his memebers to be happy . Thank you . Park Jimin - The most angelic member that took care of the others and cheer them up in their most depressed and stressful times . Thank you . Kim Taehyung - The member that worked hard and brang laughter towards both ARMY and BTS . The one who taught us to appreciate family . Thank You . Jeon Jungkook - The one whom most of us watched over since young and the one who pratically gave up school life for music and the one that showed much love to us . Thank you . and Kim Namjoon - The one who started bangtan . the one who started everything . We appreciate that . and ARMYs as well - We helped them the most we can and we know that we wouldn't be the one to marry them . We know they will disband one day . But we know . That no matter what happens , Bangtan will still be somewhere in our heart .
Kim Chaeran es muy triste esta musica que se trata la vida de bts me hizo llorar como lucharon para ser alguien en la vida no se rindieron y siguieron adelante sin importar lo imposible que estaba la vida siguieron adelante me admiran los quieros
oh geez ME. been listening to this since i became an army in 2017, but i just suddenly felt like watching this again after 2 years and damn, i never thought i'd cry even harder than i did when i first saw it.
This is too personal for them especially Suga and RM. Their raps are fire. And Jhope's rap always provides the spice to the song. They are truly an artists no matter how ppl discredit them for being one.
the confession they feel is now history for bts and the army... the time they fought was not alone there was an army that helped so they didn't feel lonely anymore
This is my all time favourite BTS song and performance. Even though its not even an official song or the best produced one. Because it represents them, their dream, their hard work to get to where they are. Amazing.
MidnightEkaki to shatter ur world it is even a cover from a song called born sinner. So they "only" changed the lyrics. But I like this a lot more than the original T_T~
Inside that circle, you see, they were facing their real self, keeping aside the persona they created for us. They weren't a BTS we know, they were imperfect people full of insecurities and they were vulnerable, were hurt and broken into pieces but that's who they are and that what we are. They are not the idol who are perfect but are the idol who we look up to, who make us happy everyday and we don't need a perfect things to be happy. Because they are imperfect we can relate with the word they say and their story. So instead of loving them at their best, lets love and support them whoever they become at the future because since the day 1 we don't fully know them so we can't judge them right?
Hey can you please listen my Friends cover song.. She's a good singer She had did cover of this song too It will be so great of you if you did.💜💜ruclips.net/video/AO41TKklfM0/видео.html
From being an un-monetized song on BANGTANTV 8 years ago, to now being the first song on the track list of the first CD of their anthology album, celebrating all their past and future wins, Born Singer has come a long way. It now sits proudly as PROOF to show that everything BTS said they’d do, they did. “ Every moment I strive to make sure not to lose my integrity To always be myself, so I don't embarrass the me from the beginning “ Imagine JHope performing that in 2022 knowing how proud they’ve made their past selves. This was always a song that ARMYs held close to their heart and Bangtan even closer, soon we’ll make it chart and help the world see once again how far BTS has come 💜
I've NEVER felt so proud of a celebrities before. Remember when they were giving out tickets to people to go watch their performance? Now look at them, they don't need to do that anymore. The tickets sell out really quickly. I'm so proud of these boys.
Ikr? It feels weird & scary sometimes; how strongly I feel for these 7 men. I've always been a music lover, but never have I liked another artist the way I like Bangtan. Not even through my teenage years. They have changed & influenced my life so much, it feels almost unreal.
This song represents them. No choreography, just their emotions. This was performed years ago when they we're just starting to grow. They've gone through a lot of hardships and made it. I am so proud of them it makes me cry😭😭💜
I'm a new ARMY and about to experience my first comeback. We just got the tracklist for the Anthology album today and Born Singer is song #1. I had heard the song in passing but hadn't looked it up yet. This video is stunning and I am even more excited to know that this will be the first song on their new album! Maybe we'll even get to see it in concert again someday!
Same! This song is amazing. Listening through all of their older music and I wish I would have listened to them sooner. It really is true that you find/fall in love with BTS when you need their music the most. 💜😭
this is why BTS succeeded, this is why they are at the top, this is why they are loved and supported... their friendship, their passion, honesty, their genuine love for music, their growth as individuals and musicians... all the struggles and obstacles...we overcame them together, because we only had each other... despite the entire industry treating them like shit, trying to shadow their success, hiding their achievements because they were a threat to big companies...not even mentioning that their own country only cared about them and claimed them after they began to shine in the US, not before...but they are filling stadiums now, getting worldwide recognition, getting awards and their names being known around the world... Just as Namjoon said: "You and I, we will win in the end. We will win so naturally making sure no one see us coming" no matter how many of y'all hate bts or us, the truth is you haters were and still are bitter that they succeeded when no one thought they would come this far...their dreams, goals, achievements were belittled, their milestones minimized, their growth was seen as suspicious and they endured hundreds of calumnies, their fandom demonized simply because we cared for them and them only, and yet, y'all antis want what they have now.... So what are you waiting for? Open Spotify and play their album. Keep loving and supporting BTS music, because that's what this is all about...their core, soul, their voice.
when they turn around from their circle to face the audience, and then the audience sing the chorus back to them as they silently mouth the words... just tears. how much their debut stage meant to them, how it must have felt to hear the audience affirm them in this video, and how much it still means to them now, to put this song as the first track on the album. bangtan never get too big for themselves, they never forget where they started from to get here. how i wish the boys could travel back in time to before debut, to reassure their younger selves that every drop of sweat, every tear will be worth it a thousand times over
2020 and I’m here still watching this. There’s really something about this song that brings out the emotions and tears. You can see their passion in the lyrics as well as their hardships and insecurities. Now reflecting on how big they’ve come, anyone can see that they came from humble beginnings what with being a small company at the time. They aren’t immune to feeling tired, despair about the future but you can see them pushing on for their dreams. Now that they’ve made it, you can reflect on the stark contrast of their lyrics to Black Swan and I think it’s beautiful how you can see their growth, their shifting perspectives, THEIR STORY through their songs. Respect to Bangtan, hard-earned respect. It’s a whole rollercoaster this song.
same. There really is something that gets you emotional in this song. its their passion and how they arent afraid of confronting their problems becaus ethey know that we will never leave them
i’m a late army also and i just got active on following bts recently, i’ve been bawling my eyes out with We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal. Same as u i was like “what was that BTS song that made me cry years ago?”
Namjoon's passion delivery and lyrics give me goosebumps every time I listen to this. When he yells CAN'T YOU FEEL?? My hearttt. Namjoon you've proved it to them all - no one can deny your talent and passion. You said you were going to make it and you did x
My only regret being in this fandom is Not being There in their early day, im gonna be living with this regret for the rest of my life N its not even my fault. 😭😭😭😭
Same. Im only a really young international army and I wish I was there to have supported them in 2013. I seriously wish I had known about them earlier.
I just think it was meant to be this way. The hardships they faced in their early years is what has made them what they are today. No matter at what time we became armys we still love them equally
Thank you to my beautiful daughter Kaylan for exposing me to BTS!!! I am a 47-year-old black man who has been in the Army for about a year now and flew my daughter to NYC to see them!!! Congrats to one of the greatest groups ever!!! GO ARMY!!!
Ty Taylor your daughter is extremely lucky to have you, I have accepted the fact I will never see bts or the fact my freinds or family will keep making fun of them, keep your daughter happy
Maknae Jae Yoonbae when they all turned around and started singing together I burst in to tears......and when I saw kookie I started sobbing into my pillow
the fact that they wrote this about how it felt performing for a few hundred people, and now 9 years later they're the number 1 global recording artist, selling out the biggest stadiums in the world, with millions of fans. so happy and so proud of our 7 angels, can't wait to hear this on PROOF
RM's 'Hey kid what's your dream?' Mine is to become a rapstar can't you feel.' makes me feel all types of emotional idk but that particular line and the way he says it seems so sincere.
I don't know why but that little circle they had while singing this seemed so intimate and real. It's like they're telling their stories about their dreams and keeping it to themselves because they know how harsh the world can be but they didn't stop and continue dreaming and working for it and as they go on their journey, they met people (Bang PD and ARMYs) who believed and supported them all the way and when they were able to shine and achieve it, they finally gained courage and let the world know about them so they turned around and face the crowd because it's like letting the world know about them and their talent.
I guess so thats what they also truly want to say with us they just don't sing songs they convey their feelings, whenever I listen any song of bts i feel like there are so many things they want to tell us there all day struggle, pain problems and they just all put them in that song in every song there is always hidden stories feelings.
There is no doubt in my mind that the design of this stage was very deliberate. The inward-facing circle at the beginning, to me, means: "This message is just as much for the six of you that I'm facing as it is for the ARMY that surrounds us."
People always call be a disgrace for liking BTS. They thought BTS were just a stupid group. I just want to tell them to watch this. Passion is something I lack in life. I used to just do shit for no reason, because I was forced to do it. When I found BTS, they showed me what TRUE passion is. Passion comes from within. Passion is what I have learned from BTS. We have to work hard for what we want. I'm thankful BTS taught me that
ltellybellyl i realized this just lately. Been following what the other people want but BTS made sure the impact pf realizing this stays in me though I’ve only been a fan after the Billboard and AMAs
I will forever be thankful for having been an ARMY since 2014. There have been so many beautiful memories and I’m grateful to have been there for their their first win, their first concert at the Olympic Park, everything. I’ll be an ARMY till the day I die. 💜
The way they're positioned when singing "Born Singer" can mean so much. Hear me out. We see them start the song facing each other and then ending it facing away from each other. It means they all started together, facing each other for hope, motivation, encouragement, support, and many more. But eventually they will face challenges and hardships that will test their bond, is this fame or is this family? Eventually they will turn their backs on each other one day. But on the Wings tour final, we see them start the song backs facing each other and ending it facing each other. No matter how much they go through and all the temptations of fame and success, they will always face back each other, to the family they have formed through the years of BTS, to each other that helped get them to where they are right now. They will always find their way back to each other.
Davee Doodle this speaks volume. They are so so genuine and passionate about everything its just insane. All of my respect goes to them. They definitely deserve it
"Sunglasses, hairstyle, I know why you ridicule me. In any case it's me who's gone further that you at age 20". RM really knows how to go for the kill.
RMs lyrics have so much meaning behind them and he has no idea how many people really love him. He's helped me so much when I just don't fell like coping with life. I would be lying if I said I'm not crying while typing this because we've all seen him get hate on and we can see how he never sheds a year but instead, he makes them in to lyrics and quotes that will never be forgotten. I really wish I appreciated them or even knew about them in 2013, but shit happens and for a good damn reason to. I'm now in a supportive fandom with an amazing band that have deserved every last thing they have ever won or gotten. I know they will never see this but still. If this makes one person smile or just even make them say "same" then I've done my job.
I think you’ve expressed beautifully what a lot of us feel. I hope through this journey and ARMY he can truly feel how much we love him and how proud we are of who he is
1:02 do you hear how quiet the crowd is?! They listen to whatever they say and we appreciate what they have done for us and what the have given up for their dreams I’m so glad I stan these legends and no one in this world can change the fact that I love these men with all of my heart💜 A.R.M.Y + BTS=FOREVER LOVE💜💜💜💜💜
I didn't notice it cause even I was controlling myself and telling me that I shouldn't cry on a song which probably will never be sing again (which 😭😭😭😭😭).. but damn. I'm sure that all the ARMYs there were also just holding back tears
In the end of 2018?? Today was the day when Jin said that they almost disbanded and today I saw BTS win a big award and BTS & ARMY cried, today was the day when we are proud of each other because we have each other.... Today was the day when BTS SAID THANK YOU TO ARMY AND ARMY SAID THANK YOU BTS 💜 *I* *PURPLE* *YOU* 💜
Ahhhh! The tracklist 1 is out and the first song is Born Singer!!!!! "Let the haters hate on me, they've always been on it. While you all were teasing the keyboard, I fulfilled my dreams" is gonna hit sooooo different than in 2015! God! How to stop these tears now!
Jin, Jimin, Jungkook and Taehyung's passionate singing, Yoongi's hand movements, Namjoon who is holding the mic like it will fly away, Hoseok's rap which is mixed with singing... I love they so much and I felt so proud of them. They are all closing their eyes when they are singing, its like they are in the song. I can't describe it, but it feels like they are not the ones who sing it, but they are the song.
One day they'll sing this at their last concert...and we'll all cry and remember everything that happened over the years. We'll remember the fact that they started from the bottom and worked their way to the top. We'll remember that no matter what, they stayed as strong as they possibly could. We'll remember that no matter how popular they got, they still cared about us. We'll remember that no matter what, we're all one big family...and we're here for each other.
And now they’re back with this song again in 2022, with the new anthology album, Proof. Feels as if, they’ve come to a full circle. So so proud of these boys🥺😭💜 Ufff, will the lyrics too change from “in 3 year’s time” to “in 8 year’s time”? 😭🥺
No group is -as passionate -as humble -as hardworking -as determined -as heartwarming -has as meaningful lyrics As BTS Edit: it's been 9 months (???) since I first posted this comment and I'm seeing a lot of hateful replies. 1. I'm a multi stan so please don't tell me I'm being biased. 2. I'm not meaning any hate! It's just that BTS is a group that really stands out for me and means a lot to me since I'm quite old to kpop. 3. I said 'no group', but I didn't liTerAlly mean it. It's an exaggeration?? Again, just because I think this, doesn't mean others will too. 4. Don't attack me please, I'm not trying to be toxic to anyone or group. Anyways, please continue to support our boys 😔 💜
@@lenseofleni to your ans is maybe u are a multistan or a hater if your a hater not my problem at least u know bts but they don't know u, u give them attention that's how famous they reach cause u keep calling their name out of your ignorant mouth 🙄🙄😒😒😒 thank God my boyz teach us not to listen to haters but to ignore them
I was already tearing up when Jin sang "I'm a born singer" and then RMs verse just gave me the rest. Damn, Im always just so impressed at how authentic and real their lyrics are.
I don't care if it's a cover. They sang straight from the hearts. Min Yoongi's lyrics hit straight to the heart 💘 Love the raw emotions and the performance. BTS for life 💜
j-hope transition from singing to rapping really amazed me his a multi talented idol... not to mentioned his a good dancer though... how can i not love him 😍😍😍
this song really makes me cry😭😣 ..... our boys really doing their best to make us (ARMY) and their family proud.....this is one of the most beautiful song ive ever heard😇😍
‘Hey kid what’s your dream?’ Mine is to become a rap star can’t you feel Damn i love Namjoon so much he just uhh he hit me with those word my loveee💜💜💜💜
A little ARMY psychoanalysis here. What I hear from Namjoon in these rhymes is that he feels it strongly when he's criticized for choosing to be in a Boy Band and for choosing to portray a K-Pop idol persona to become a Rap Star. I bet he even wonders sometimes if he could have made it another way. The line of this song with the most weight in my eyes, therefore, is: "The members patted my shoulder wordlessly." There is so much embedded in that thought. RM carries so much of the responsibility of who BTS are as a group, what they sound like, the image they portray to the world, and the subject matter of their lyrics, and the inter-relationships within the band. And to openly acknowledge the rest of the members for supporting him in all of those roles in this way, that has to carry deep meaning to all the guys.
i mean not much psychoanalysis as... he and suga have literally talked about that very subject several times and they even tried to prank him once by telling him he could go solo if he wanted, but yeah you're right, i'm sure he (and suga) thought a lot about being a rapper vs being in an idol group. however suga's said some pretty amazing things about it - in interviews and in songs like RM did... i mean... he did write Idol, after all
❤️❤️Someone please tell these boys that in DEC 2017 they performed BORN SINGER in GOCHEOK DOME after receiving 2 deasangs , a Global artist award, a billboard award, performing at AMAs and breaking and setting new records , performing and attending the most popular American tv shows.. Yes boys you were BORN SINGERS and its not an early confession. You guys did amazing in 2017... 😭
A lot of people ask me, why are you obsess with them? My answer? Because they are not just dancing or singing for popularity they're singing about their life, their story!❤ we will always love you Bangtan!💕
I promised my self that i will forever be an Army of BTS. Until my last breath i will love them and i will not change. And each time i come back to this stage, when i burst into tears, i know that promise is still there.
Every single time I listen to this song I cry. 4 years ago they were a tiny idol group that came from a small company no one ever heard of. In 2015 , hyyh was released and they won their first ever win on a music show while their popularity started growing. Pt 2 and Pt 3 came out soon after and just kept on growing even more. In 2016, yoongi achieved his dream of performing at his dream stadium and he cried on stage for the first time ever. And then Wings came out and their popularity skyrocketed. In December, they won their first ever daesang. This year, they became the first ever kpop idol group to win a bbma award and they are now one of Korea's biggest boygroups. In 4 years, they'vn grown so much and I cannot stop being proud. Even though I may not have been there from the start ( I joined the fandom during the I need u era ) , I will support them till the very end. People may talk bad about our fandom alot (we do have quite a number of immature fans ) , but I will never stop being proud of being an army. Because bangtan gives us their all, and we give them our all, and that's all we need. BTS FIGHTING 💜💜
MyHearteu NeedsJams I became an ARMY in the BS&T era like three months after it came out. My friend showed me BS&T when it first came out and Dope but I was like cool what ever. She would try to get me to watch kpop try not to laugh but I wouldn't care. Two months after that I remember them and looked them up and the rest is history! I'm a bigger ARMY then she is now! I've never been so attached to something/someone
The fact that today is their 6th anniversary and I'm just listening to this on a damn rainy day and bawling my eyes out .... #HappyanniversaryBTSandARMYS
I came back here after the BBMAs and now im crying even more. They deserve the whole world and I still can't believe that their dream is happening before their own eyes. People are starting to recognize them and I'm happy for that but being with them since the beginning, it overwhelms me that I know that they can't love me like I love them. ARMYS around the world share the same dilemma and I suppose, all we can do is keep supporting BTS all the way. I love you BTS and I forever will.💜
they sung this on Wings Tour Final. Seeing how far they've come makes me so emotional. Imagine how afraid an insecure they were when bighit was in debt and they cant even win on music shows, now they're breaking records left an right. well deserved success my boys.
This song is about every struggles, fear and doubgs that accompany the shaky road.to success, a story, a confession. Born singer is a look back to their on their history, a road back to their roots. It's a reminder that all the sucess.they have now wasn't easily earned. All the things that they have accomplish won't delete the fact that they started as seven clueless boys, boys who were faced to many problems they shouldn't have been exposed: money, disbandment, and stigma. Sold out arenas will never erase the feeling of empty stomach filled with vitamins since.their company couldn't afford meat. Daesangs cant erase the fact that they went to LA asking people to attend their concert. Though ir says nothing might be guaranteed I can promise you that: you will.never, ever witness a group like.bangtan. their story is unique to themselves and can't be altered, born singer isn't just a song with beat and chords, born singer is a plea: a begging request to never forget Bts are born singers. Always and forever
This song always hits me with the feels I swear, I bet every ARMY out there can agree that it does. Even if I haven't known about k-pop for long, nor BTS, I can already say that they're amazing. They've come a long way through their career and life. It's amazing to know that they have accomplished their dreams and it's an honour and to be someone, who make not be there, in real life, standing by their side, but to know that we've helped them complete and get to their dream. I just can't say anything more by thanking them for helping not only us in our rough times but in the times we just needed something to help us with, to laugh at, meme at *(heh, memes)*. They've become a small little family and it's adorable to be honest. Sometimes I wish I could tell them myself how much they've helped me out these past 2-3 months but I can't since I'm an international ARMY. Let's all be proud of them, not for just growing, but for accomplishing their dream. And if anyone else feels like they can't do something like they did. You're wrong. Everyone can accomplish their dream. All you need is to work hard (like BTS did) and prepare yourself for what you want to do. Anyways, enough of my paragraph. Talk to you fellow ARMYs later, seeya! ~From Cassie, your ARMY/k-pop fan from Australia
But it's very true about Them bringing us through hard times. I used to only listen to emo music that just triggered my depression even more until I found bts and my whole world changed because now, not even joking I became happier and talk to my family and friends more because their music and beautiful personalities made me realize how crazy I was being and how I needed to make a change... And somehow it all just came from seven goofy guys that I adore in a band
This is BTS own version of J.Cole's "Born Sinner". Respect the original. ^^
well in my opinion, it's all about them and musics. all the things that they have sacrifices before debut and also after debut. In 3 years, how they have became one team named BTS, their feelings on stage, dealing with haters, that they will still be themselves, and their life where they have to struggle to become an artist. they are born singer.
what? no..they are not. well, they will be disband someday. but dear, NOT TODAY ^^
Kizzant Gibson- Goldcrest PS (1427) No honey this was years ago. But his song holds so much meaning behind it for all ARMY.
WHAT J.COLE?!I NEVER KNEW CAN I HAVE SOME MORE INFO PLEASE!?if you don't mind
Suga Nevermind what country is that
"Sun glasses, hair style. I know why you ridicule me. In any case, it's me who's gone further than you at age 20." RM nailed it.
It breaks my heart that he gotten hate from that.I love RM so much, bias forever
I am a new fan, after the AMAs I became obsessed! Can someone please explain what hate he got 😩 I love RM
Veronica Rivera Back at the start of their career, people would call him ugly. There were a lot of shit that happened. There were times that some netizens would tell him to leave the group, etc. So, that lyric is like a lowkey diss to those haters... But look at him now and the rest of the members... I’m so happy about their success too, in the little amount of time I’ve been a fan I can see how much they deserve all this. They are so extremely talented and genuinely amazing me !!
Veronica Rivera yasssss new ARMYs 😍😍😍 Thank you for being part of this growing fandom 😄😄😄
Listening to this song after We are bulletproof: the eternal, and... It just gets an entirely new feeling. They've really achieved success and happiness, after 7 years of hard work. 7 years of blood, sweat and tears.

We've come all the way

i’m crying at 3 am
this song... actually brings tears on my eyes... especially RM's part...

then followed jin's hook. huuhu.
Same. You know you’re a true army if this song brings tears to your eyes. Our boys have come so far. They have prospered and are getting the love
And respect they’ve always deserved.
Ya, suga's part oso
let's appreciate hoseoks part too for a sec... his part mightve been short but you can feel all the strong emotions in it, i love it):
For me, this is the most fitting song to be added in their anthology album. It describes their journey as a band, their struggles, worries, and triumphs. It describes BTS
I almost cried when I saw they added it on there honestly. This song makes me cry, and makes me so proud of how far they have come
And now we have proof with born singer and they performed it too.. am not crying •_•

bts sang this in front of their parents, their family attended this concert...bts singing born singer in front of their parents with many fans gives me different type of feelings, they're for sure proud of them no matter what because their sons were born to be a singer
We’re Suga parents there too because I heard that they really didn’t support him or sum?

This song is truly sung from their hearts. I love it.
Christina Oyebade agree. You can feel how deep it is from their heart. ❤️

I felt it too fam I'm balling rn that was touching and beautiful
nah its the beat that really gets you, J cole is too good

The rap-line all killed their parts. J-hope's "Every moment I make sure not to lose my integrity, to always be myself so I don't embarrass the me from the beginning" really speaks to the character of BTS. No matter how successful and high they become, they never forget their roots and their original morals.
This song has gained even more meaning over the years and is just a masterpiece.

He is so underrated in his own country
@@btspavedthewaythefact157 nope. Not now. Did you know that korean army planted a lot of trees in his recent birthday? And almost in every survey, k-army's keep saying that their ideal guy is rm💖
he wasnt! he is THE rapper, THE leader, OUR namjoon
I mean under rated. Its compare to the maknae. His official merchandise is always the last to sold out. His fans are not as many as the maknae. The hyung lines, i adore and heartache for them
Suga's part was so strong...I cried....
He is my bias and I really believe that he has opened doors to conversations about mental health, his journey which is ongoing, hopefully, if it makes a difference to 1 person, prevents ideation then I am as always proud of him but more so than ever.
I agree
Me too, I zoomed in on his face & he has tears streaming down his face. Then I did also, I was so moved .
"Hey, kid what's your dream?" Mine is to be a rap star can't you feel

Ikr😔
yes!!! 💜
I wanna be a singer 💜
Fuckin' real 💜
What’s awesome is that in the 2017 performance of this song, he actually changed the lyrics to “Hey kid whats your dream? Mine is to be the real me, can’t you feel”. I love seeing the small lyrical changes they do, because you can see their growth in mindset- 2017 Namjoon wants to be the real him, whilst 2013 Namjoon just wanted to be a rapper.
"While you all were teasing the keyboard, I fulfilled my dreams, in any case, it's me who's gone further than you at age 20" - Kim Namjoon
Bro that hit hard fr.
True words
the rapline's verses are so personal so emotional, especially yoongi and namjoon because back then their underground rapper peers were looking down on them and saying they've changed and betrayed the hiphop industry for going the idol route, so when yoongi says "This is how I am, did something about me change before your eyes? Damn Shit I'm still me, without change I keep my essence " and when namjoon says "I'm fucking real, "hey kid whats your dream?" Mine is to become a rapstar can't you feel" and they way you can tell they want to just scream those words out to the world, that they are the same despite the hate and stereotypes placed on them just because of the "idol" label. Now they've really achieved it, they become the global artist that they were born to be
Success is the sweetest revenge!!!
I cant stop crying. Im so proud of them. They dont deserve any ounce of hate yet people still shit on their name
Ahh yes ignore Hoseok like most do. You need to acknowledge Hoseok suffered from major depression and stress. He would constantly overwork himself. "I'm drenched with my blood sweat and tears." "Every moment I make sure not to lose my integrity
To always be myself, so I don't embarrass the me from the beginning".
I'm glad they choose to be in bts. An idol.
the fact that this will be the first track on their anthology album.

Kim Chaeran this comment made me cry of how far we have come. Thank you ARMY.
Kim Chaeran NO... tears? What tears? those aren't tears, my eyes are just sweating :3

This stage is honestly HONESTLY ONE OF BTS's BEST STAGE. The amount of emotions pour into this song. I swear
I swear too, I'm good
This is too personal for them especially Suga and RM. Their raps are fire. And Jhope's rap always provides the spice to the song. They are truly an artists no matter how ppl discredit them for being one.
❤
the confession they feel is now history for bts and the army... the time they fought was not alone there was an army that helped so they didn't feel lonely anymore
Suga always the best
@@qearaaa01 yes, he is 💜💜👍👍
Absolutely 😭
This is my all time favourite BTS song and performance. Even though its not even an official song or the best produced one. Because it represents them, their dream, their hard work to get to where they are. Amazing.
MidnightEkaki to shatter ur world it is even a cover from a song called born sinner. So they "only" changed the lyrics. But I like this a lot more than the original T_T~
J Cole's original has a kkt moee heart and deeo meaning and is all around better but this is pretty good
Craig Donnelly well of course you can't compare it to the original.. I'm saying this as a BTS fan.
MidnightEkaki same here
MidnightEkaki I guess that’s true but this song still holds a lot of meaning for them and Armys.. cover or not
Inside that circle, you see, they were facing their real self, keeping aside the persona they created for us.
Hey can you please listen my

True!
Well said.
From being an un-monetized song on BANGTANTV 8 years ago, to now being the first song on the track list of the first CD of their anthology album, celebrating all their past and future wins, Born Singer has come a long way. It now sits proudly as PROOF to show that everything BTS said they’d do, they did.
“ Every moment I strive to make sure not to lose my integrity
To always be myself, so I don't embarrass the me from the beginning “
Imagine JHope performing that in 2022 knowing how proud they’ve made their past selves. This was always a song that ARMYs held close to their heart and Bangtan even closer, soon we’ll make it chart and help the world see once again how far BTS has come 💜
Your comment!!! OMG you're so articulate with your words, every single thing you said is absolutely true. Excited for PROOF💜

Ikr? It feels weird & scary sometimes; how strongly I feel for these 7 men. I've always been a music lover, but never have I liked another artist the way I like Bangtan. Not even through my teenage years. They have changed & influenced my life so much, it feels almost unreal.

this is why BTS succeeded, this is why they are at the top, this is why they are loved and supported...
their friendship, their passion, honesty, their genuine love for music, their growth as individuals and musicians...
all the struggles and obstacles...we overcame them together, because we only had each other...
despite the entire industry treating them like shit, trying to shadow their success, hiding their achievements because they were a threat to big companies...not even mentioning that their own country only cared about them and claimed them after they began to shine in the US, not before...but they are filling stadiums now, getting worldwide recognition, getting awards and their names being known around the world...
Just as Namjoon said: "You and I, we will win in the end. We will win so naturally making sure no one see us coming"
no matter how many of y'all hate bts or us, the truth is you haters were and still are bitter that they succeeded when no one thought they would come this far...their dreams, goals, achievements were belittled, their milestones minimized, their growth was seen as suspicious and they endured hundreds of calumnies, their fandom demonized simply because we cared for them and them only, and yet, y'all antis want what they have now....
So what are you waiting for? Open Spotify and play their album. Keep loving and supporting BTS music, because that's what this is all about...their core, soul, their voice.
This needs more likes.
As a 5 years army,I'm crying reading this comment 😭
💜💜💜
manu strella well said👍👍👍
this comment is underrated
when they turn around from their circle to face the audience, and then the audience sing the chorus back to them as they silently mouth the words... just tears. how much their debut stage meant to them, how it must have felt to hear the audience affirm them in this video, and how much it still means to them now, to put this song as the first track on the album. bangtan never get too big for themselves, they never forget where they started from to get here. how i wish the boys could travel back in time to before debut, to reassure their younger selves that every drop of sweat, every tear will be worth it a thousand times over
My chest gets so heavy everytime I watch this performance. No choreography, just raw emotion and lyrics straight from the core.
that L that jimin handed every army in the J1D mv same
I'm... I mean... Damn...🔥🔥🔥
I get a bit teary and I get goose bumps down my spine because I can really feel the emotion, I can hear it’s from their heart
It’s a whole rollercoaster this song.
luv u dear, i just luv when ppl really understand what BTS going through ....
same. There really is something that gets you emotional in this song. its their passion and how they arent afraid of confronting their problems becaus ethey know that we will never leave them

And how Namjoon was holding the mic it was like he was holding on for dear life
They’re going to be performing Boy With Luv on SNL eight hours from now!! 😭☺️☺️💜
@@jyotibhagel0282 I agree! 💜
There is no doubt in my mind that the design of this stage was very deliberate. The inward-facing circle at the beginning, to me, means: "This message is just as much for the six of you that I'm facing as it is for the ARMY that surrounds us."

I used to just do shit for no reason, because I was forced to do it. When I found BTS, they showed me what TRUE passion is. Passion comes from within. Passion is what I have learned from BTS.
We have to work hard for what we want. I'm thankful BTS taught me that

*{ the song that rescues me over and over }* When the boys turn to the crowd, and JK's eyes tear up, NO group comes close to the passion of this singular song. I believe this version honors J. Cole SO much, my only wish was that they would sing it on their last tour, for me September 12, 2018, Oakland, California. I am 63 years old and these boys take me straight back to the 1960"s welcoming The Beatles to America, when I fell head over heels in love, and now, think about it, in the name Beatles are the letters BTS. And I am crazy in love with BTS, my age does not matter one bit, I am Army. ©️army

Imagine them performing this at Wembley Stadium in front of 90k fans as the first ever Korean act to perform there, I'm already sobbing😭
IloveMovies forever ill cry if that happens
Rm's verse in this just hits so hard.. He turned something deeply personal into a strength
Every time I listen to this song it really breaks something in me. Their emotions are so raw and overwhelming that it hurts.
Agreed, and the fact that it is SO incredibly personal just makes it even sadder
So true Armyyy 🥺🥺🥺
me too
After all these years, this song still makes my eyes water and give me goosebumps
BTS: I’m a born singer
Me: I’m a born ARMY 💜
They were born to be singers
We were born to be fans of those singers 💜
YAASSSSSS
wise words..
Literally my moms an army
Saniyia Howard omgosh saaaame
I wish they would perform this song more, It's beautiful.
@la la lalisa
I totally agree.
I too, wish they would sing this beautiful song more. This song is a BTS Classic💯💜
it wouldnt have that much emotional intensity or as powerful of a meaning if it were a regular song tho
Jimin said they dont perform that song anymore bc they always end up crying 😂
In the end of 2018?? Today was the day when Jin said that they almost disbanded and today I saw BTS win a big award and BTS & ARMY cried, today was the day when we are proud of each other because we have each other.... Today was the day when BTS SAID THANK YOU TO ARMY AND ARMY SAID THANK YOU BTS 💜 *I* *PURPLE* *YOU* 💜
😭😭😭
L9
I purple you too 😫
its 2019 for me
Anime Lover he commented on 2018 idiot
If this song makes it to the Anthology, I am gonna cry rivers.
hoping with all my heart it’s in there .. i wonder if there might be copyright issues or smth since it’s a remake of another song
You can cry now bro it's first on tracklist
Ahhhh! The tracklist 1 is out and the first song is Born Singer!!!!! "Let the haters hate on me, they've always been on it. While you all were teasing the keyboard, I fulfilled my dreams" is gonna hit sooooo different than in 2015! God! How to stop these tears now!
@@dailydoseofbts6725 OMG I CANT BELIEVE WE WERE JUST TALKING ABOUT IT AND IT WAS ACTYALLY TRACK 1 OMGGG
Bro I hope you're not drowned, it's coming tomorrow
Yoongi's and Rm's part hits different the meaning of the lyrics and lets not forget J-hope's part in this song
Ikr, it’s too personal
Never. He's part is just amazing
Jin, Jimin, Jungkook and Taehyung's passionate singing,
Yoongi's hand movements,
Namjoon who is holding the mic like it will fly away,
Hoseok's rap which is mixed with singing...
We'll remember that no matter what, we're all one big family...and we're here for each other.
dammit now im crying :(
Why... I'm in pieces 😭
now im crying ...
Whyyyy stawp I’m crying 😭💔
I'm already ugly cryimg so just thinking about that makes me look like an alien
And now they’re back with this song again in 2022, with the new anthology album, Proof. Feels as if, they’ve come to a full circle. So so proud of these boys🥺😭💜
Ufff, will the lyrics too change from “in 3 year’s time” to “in 8 year’s time”? 😭🥺
No group is
-as passionate
-as humble
-as hardworking
-as determined
-as heartwarming
-has as meaningful lyrics
As BTS
Edit: it's been 9 months (???) since I first posted this comment and I'm seeing a lot of hateful replies.
Described J Cole also...

I was already tearing up when Jin sang "I'm a born singer" and then RMs verse just gave me the rest. Damn, Im always just so impressed at how authentic and real their lyrics are.
I don't care if it's a cover. They sang straight from the hearts. Min Yoongi's lyrics hit straight to the heart 💘
Love the raw emotions and the performance. BTS for life 💜
Only the music is a cover, the lyrics are BTS's only
It is a cover? So Where the original song comes from? Could u tell me
@@herlin.epuspita5029 the true song is Born Sinner by J.Cole

The whole song is 100/100 but when JK suddenly changed the notes in last part that was countless 💜
‘Hey kid what’s your dream?’ Mine is to become a rap star can’t you feel
Damn i love Namjoon so much he just uhh he hit me with those word my loveee💜💜💜💜
And just the WAY he says it... with so much passion

It must have weighed down on him a lot.
i mean not much psychoanalysis as... he and suga have literally talked about that very subject several times and they even tried to prank him once by telling him he could go solo if he wanted, but yeah you're right, i'm sure he (and suga) thought a lot about being a rapper vs being in an idol group. however suga's said some pretty amazing things about it - in interviews and in songs like RM did... i mean... he did write Idol, after all
That’s a great analysis! Thank you !
Kyle Dane Thank you ☺️
❤️❤️Someone please tell these boys that in DEC 2017 they performed BORN SINGER in GOCHEOK DOME after receiving 2 deasangs , a Global artist award, a billboard award, performing at AMAs and breaking and setting new records , performing and attending the most popular American tv shows..
Yes boys you were BORN SINGERS and its not an early confession. You guys did amazing in 2017... 😭
shafaq kamran Idk why this made me cry so hard
shafaq kamran yes indeed
They did amazing i am soo proud of them BTSxARMY forever
I can't believe we will be having this track in the album. I'm so proud. You did it boys!
A lot of people ask me, why are you obsess with them?
My answer? Because they are not just dancing or singing for popularity they're singing about their life, their story!❤ we will always love you Bangtan!💕
Dmzea Malnegro and youth
so true
I promised my self that i will forever be an Army of BTS. Until my last breath i will love them and i will not change. And each time i come back to this stage, when i burst into tears, i know that promise is still there.
Wtf. Your comment made me cry. 😭
u had to make me cry
BTS FIGHTING 💜💜
sorry for the long ass comment HAHAHAH
MyHearteu NeedsJams this made me emotional omg
im crying
MyHearteu NeedsJams I became an ARMY in the BS&T era like three months after it came out. My friend showed me BS&T when it first came out and Dope but I was like cool what ever. She would try to get me to watch kpop try not to laugh but I wouldn't care. Two months after that I remember them and looked them up and the rest is history! I'm a bigger ARMY then she is now! I've never been so attached to something/someone
I've been an army for 2 months and I still hate myself for joining so late. I love these boys so fucking much it's freaking scary. 😭
All these years later BTS really put born singer in their album!

I love you BTS and I forever will.💜
christine jeon here after the AMAs
Thanima Rajan and im here in 2018
Got goosebumps the first time i listened to this. I can't believe their putting this in the album.. really a masterpiece
they sung this on Wings Tour Final.
Though ir says nothing might be guaranteed I can promise you that: you will.never, ever witness a group like.bangtan. their story is unique to themselves and can't be altered, born singer isn't just a song with beat and chords, born singer is a plea: a begging request to never forget
Bts are born singers.
Always and forever
Lastenia Diaz so true and so beautiful😭😭😭👌🏽💃🏽and my dream is to become a singer
I love this comment so much. Thank you for writing this. :'-)
RheaNK998 you make me cry😢😢😢
IM NOT EVEN AN ARMY AND THIS SHIT STILL HIT ME HEARD IN THE HEART
Omg I was already crying this didn't help lol
But it's very true about Them bringing us through hard times. I used to only listen to emo music that just triggered my depression even more until I found bts and my whole world changed because now, not even joking I became happier and talk to my family and friends more because their music and beautiful personalities made me realize how crazy I was being and how I needed to make a change... And somehow it all just came from seven goofy guys that I adore in a band
