Lf Piccolo was good at release, he was competing against Yel Cell not Zenkai DKP who came later. However when he got zenkaid, he was pretty good is just that no one had him 7 stars since it was the earliest Zenkai to date. Then he was competing with DKP when Red zenkai ssj2 Gohan was around. Sad to see him like this. Definitely one of the more mistreated units in this game.
Too be fair, they did make him useable for people who aren't in high diamond and want to have fun and use different units. I'd definitely use him if i had his zenkai.

Being a _Defense type,_ they should have gone more into boosting his defenses. No sustained damage cut baseline at all in his kit was _a_ choice I guess, but that at least opened up the opportunity for the unique equip to go all out in that regard. LF Jiren equip levels of base defense boosting, 20% sustained damage cut base in the second slot, and +15% strike and blast defense _per_ Regen/Saiyan Saga battle member instead of needing a whole team restricted to those tags for a single shot of +15% strike and blast defense. 35% damage reduction (if different defense buffs even stack that way) is nothing, and even with his kit he's getting only 55% damage reduction specifically at less than 50% HP. 65% damage reduction baseline and ~85% damage reduction at below half HP would have hit different with his Zenkai boosted defenses, especially combined with his healing factor.
in between 11:50 and 11:52, there's a slight frame(?) jump. Prolly this game's "update" faults. 23:02 hail mary Ult plus Raiyuden getting further away from the microphone is so funny to hear
I have to agree with Rai here 25:08 . Its not enough for Piccolo to earn a spot in your lineup. There are many viable unit that can do as much damage like Piccolo or more, but also bring many things to the table, like ki on entry, subcount manipulation, buff, etc. I wouldn't even consider going for his plat because it would be such a waste a resource to farm on them
This was my favorite unit years ago on my regen team 💪🏾 he got me into top 500/600 so many times back in the day, that green into blue card was deadly (still is apparently) but yeah, rn it ain't enough.
What I don't understand is why a character like green Broly gets up to 90% inflicted while having far more use cases, but this LF Zenkai for a pretty horrendous tag gets 50% inflicted. The new LF/Ultra at the end of the campaign is going to have hard carry this team alongside Yamcha and Gohan.

If i may offer an equip recommendation, there's a gold equip called "Haaaaaaaa!" That's for regeneration and gives 7% to blast attack per regeneration battle member.
Ultra Super Saiyan 3 Goku concept: strike oriented, Unique Gauge counters strike or blast it takes half of the gauge to counter either one (Strike counter: he tanks it, looks at your character and kicks him way. Blast counter: he slaps your blasts and blue beam cards away just like how Buu launched a Kamehameha at Goku in their first fight), Blue Card a Kamehameha just counter Gohan, Ultimate Card can cause 25% faint and he also has Endurance nullification built into his kit
He's okay. I agree with Rai. His damage isn't really the issue, his main issue he that he just lacks utility. No ki on switch hurts, no way of stopping combos when he cover changes, he needs things like this when he's a defense type. I'll still be using him though, i like the nuking blue card gimmick

Legends been doing good with these zenkai characters now all the need to do is just do better on these damn plat equips for the sparkings and legends limited characters who already been buffed
