Looks like waterproof membrane / weed barrier. The other videos don't seem to have it in but when I build my conservatory using this I'll be putting it down for sure.
Foundations are pads, no need for full ones just "Dab and Dot" foundations and it sits on a RSJ basically. Very modern no need for huge foundations as there's minimal weight.
Would you be able to remove the external door inside to open up the space and still meet building regs?
