Some video is out there that says that Sowell cites various things to support his claims, but this critic of Sowell said that he fact-checked those things and found them wanting in terms of proving anything about the claims. This implies that one or two layers deep in the information that Sowell is making up some of his stuff. I could not easily verify this critic of Sowell's claims. Until those questions are proven or disproven, it shall remain a question in my mind until some video comes out and demolishes those critical remarks as unfounded and politically motivated or whatnot. Socialism devotees are relentless in making their false claims--this could just be another in a long list?

Recently, lefty Hispanic friends, who still live in NYC, communicated to me their great frustration with the immigration crisis -and the violence- in NY (a few, like me, grew up there in the 80s when things weren't so safe). All I could say to them (as neutrally as I could) was 'stop voting for the party that has allowed this to happen.' I hope they heed my advice.

I am so sick of this administration encouraging immigrants to come here when there is absolutely no way we can provide services, nor should we, for non citizens. When we have citizens who can not get basic services I find it ludicrous for them to be asking citizens to house these people plus pay taxes. Are they giving tax breaks for citizens who provide housing for non citizens? How many people has this governor, the mayors, the senators, etc housed?
A very lovely Mexican family bought a house and moved into my neighborhood. They work, have a very well mannered son, and are fixing up the house and beautifully landscaping their yard. I don’t know how long this family has been in America, but they are a model family that appears to be melting into the melting pot. I’m only telling this because I know that the melting pot theory is possible.
If housing is high now, just wait a few years.

They are polite and since my husband passed away give me a helping hand every now and then. I have zero problem with people coming here legally but to bring in mass immigrants from all over the world, without vetting them, and without having the capability to help give them a good start and blend in as you say is totally irresponsible. To ask citizens who can barely make it as is to take in families when those in our government will not do the same is ludicrous.

Whether politicians get their money directly from lobbyists or indirectly through "speaking engagements" it come out of your pockets. If a corporation pays millions to influence politicians, it drives up the price they have to charge for their products. If they all do it, and you buy anything they provide, you are paying for them to buy politicians.

The one thing Milei needs to; keep, reform, and expand is probably the police force and military. Argentina also has it's own crime issues ... and that needs to be addressed in order for the people and businesses to truly be freed to operate optimally.

Dave, you were doing so well. Two days in a row I was very pleased with your podcast. Then, you said that the reporters failed to ask the right question of KJP concerning medication. If you went 30 more seconds into that line of questioning, you would hear them ask about additional medication, other than cold medication. She said she could not speak to any other medication, only that there was no cold medication.

I am a 6th generation Seattlite, and we did not know that living with and marrying any ethnic variant of human-being that we fell in love with was racist agenda. My family included multiple generations of Blacks and whites, Japanese and Native Americans, Vietnamese, Mexican, and Columbian, and I can't remember. Until the pandemic lockdowns, pride month festival was a family day at the parade downtown, drinking happy drinks and being loving and content with our gay family because being gay is part of humanity. 😊

Australia outsourced government services and the result was higher costs to the public but, reduced costs to the government which enables them to give more taxpayer money overseas
Outsourcing services overseas is even worse than keeping it in government. A. You are taking tax payers dollars out the Australian economy spending it elsewhere so your economy is getting smaller. B. You are employing foreigners not Australian citizens so you are exasperated unemployment for Australians. C. By taking it overseas you are denying competition for Australia companies to compete for products and services thus reducing costs to the Australian people. Javier Melei is 100% correct. Privatising does not just mean giving it to one company, that would make it a monopoly. You allow private companies to compete and allow the Australian citizen to choose. If you give to one or two you are basically making it a monopoly.
Except some businesses are "natural monopolies" because that business's marginal cost never exceeds average cost... In Australia, this is true of water services, electricity production-distribution and other things with massive sunk capital costs due to low population density (because of low land fecundity and marginal precipitation relative to Europe and the Americas - oldest most eroded continent in the world).

The attitude of ppl has drastically changed . Even something so simple as not littering it just shows that we're taking pride in our country and remembering who we are again. Milei was exactly what was needed . I'm proud to have voted for him . 🇦🇷
