I did before I made this comment. So far, I can say all Delta Heavy music videos are made by artists and should all be in place of the Mona Lisa (Danger Dolan reference).
Met delta heavy once. Told him he was one of my favourite dubstep artists at the time, he was almost insulted because he reckoned he wasn't dubstep. I reckon this song defined a big part of dubstep history
@@1Starsky11 Yes Delta Heavy is 2 people, however it’s pretty common that only 1 of them travels for shows unless it’s more of a major festival or if they can somehow both attend. Seen Delta Heavy at least a dozen times and about half of those it was just one member performing.

You take your childhood, your experiences, your environment growing up, and you bring them with you wherever you go, in whatever you do, and in anything you make. This video feeds me some mega-nostalgia as a kid of the late-80s and 90s that these toys and gadgets were just the tools, trappings and distractions to help us survive to get where we are today.

The creator is destroying things used to get by in times past, and in the process transforming them into a modern version of a thing used to get by. It's about using the obsolescence of the already obsolete. In this case the creator is using stop motion film to create records when cd's and digital distribution are already more mainstream. Esoteric wisdom.
@@slipdarington4549 I think it's more about how they've chipped away at their childhood innocence as they grow older, "I've had to sacrifice too many things to get by." and they use that and pour it into their music. Much more literal take on it.

I think the message of the video is that he needs to go through a lot of shit and tough times to make every single track and get by. all the shit he does and all the bad feelings he gets gets siphoned into all his tracks. God this track makes me feel so much.
Jp Ferri It was very different yeah. Thankfully a lot of the legends of that time are still performing and with some absolute bangers to boot, some like Rusko even still have that old school dub vibe. Sadly some like Benga haven't really released anyhting in a good while.
