RIP John Robinson...I still remember the day when Frankie Crocker from WBLS broke the news that John was killed in a car accident overseas....my heart was heavy with grief that afternoon. One of the greats in the dance music industry, and still sorely missed even today!

Billy Batson he died in late 1996 or early 1997 in a car accident in the U.K. along with the owner of Freetown Records (forgot his name). He's been gone 20 years but his music lives forever. He is sorely missed
