My favourite angler and my favourite tackle manufacturers, great film really enjoyed it. Des the legend does it again.
Used to catch a lot of those big silver bream on some of my local fen rivers and drains. Sadly the cormorants and poaching have seen to a lot of those venues now. Thoroughly enjoyed the video, nice to see some canal/natural water stuff too 👍
Happy new year,fantastic video takes me back to the Shropshire Union Canal in the 70s where I was brought up used to use Dicky Greggs floats and blast squats,that’s going back a bit.have a good 2022 and more videos thank you

Used to really enjoy our local canals fishing winter leagues etc. Watching these vids.makes you wish you could go back in time with all the things you learn from them...and if only you could take the gear as well !!

Nice fishing Des, i fished that exact peg back in November and had the same quality fish as you so I must be doing something right and I do love fishing the Devizes stretch of the Kennet and Avon canal, cheers mate cracking video and learnt a lot from watching it 👍

Great vid! At 0:43 he says he has fished that stretch before, but at 20:46 he says he hasn't. Which is it?

Talk about contradicting yourself, at the start des said he had fish that stretch of canal a few years before and then 21 minutes in he said he had never fished it before and never knew what to expect
