Wimsem - Tekenen & Knutselen yeah like reeeeeeeeeeally good. I used to work for a German company where I live and most of them had an accent when speaking even though their English was really good. She barely has an accent, thus the comment above. Btw, English isn't my native language either.
***** Its not uncommon tho, nickytutorials and coco chanou are both dutch but speak english without an accent.
Love that you are working on a novel. I try to keep a lot of my small business related stuff out of my BuJo, but realize that when I look back at old ones that there are a lot of good ideas there. It's nice to look back and see what I forgot/decided not to do/seems great now.
Yes, I totally get that, it is the same for me, too :) I really like to have everything in the Bujo because that way you can revisit ideas that you didn't have time for :). I really hope that I will find time to finish my novel once I am done with my PhD this fall :)

ich hab sofort während du die ersten sätze gesprochen hast gedacht "die kommt doch aus deutschland" 😄 seltsam, wie man solche akzente raushört. du sprichst aber ziemlich gutes englisch 😊 und dein bullett journal sieht auch richtig toll aus, ich habe auch ende november damit angefangen und ich komme damit sooo gut zurecht!

I've decided to start "bullet journalling " this year but I don't know how to start or commit to it?
I think the best way to start is probably by finding as much inspiration on how to do it as possible - there are so many wonderful youtube videos about the system out there, that is where I started :). And then I think it is always a good idea to brainstorm what it is that you want to use the system for - why do you want/need a planner, a journal etc. Do you have lots of things that you would like to keep track of? Would you like to decument wonderful memories, etc. That is how I started - I got some inspiration on youtube and instagram and then I tried to think about the things I wanted from the system :). I hope this helps a little bit? Have lots of fun with your new bullet journal! :)

the clean and black style gives it a really chic feel i really dig it. sometimes too much colour and patterns is just like---woah. overwhelming.
Ahaha I totally get it. They were all SO YOUNG back when the show started. Yes, I, too am really into black and white and simple designs right now for exactly the same reason. Too much color and too many different patterns feel kind of overwhelming somethimes :)

That is very nice of you, thank you so much :). I notice my German accent when I am in Germany (it gets worse when I'm tired, haha) and it kind of fades when I am back in the US :D.
Great video! You are going to love using the bullet journal, I've been consistently using mine for 9 months and even though it's still my best system to date, I want to give the Hobonichi Cousin a try for 2017. I think my only draw back for the bujo is that once you have your system worked out for you, having to draw it month by month is a pain.....lol so long story short I'm switching to a dated planner next year. I love your stamps and the way you've set up your pages though, what kind of ink do you use? Would it work for the hobo as well? Thanks for sharing as always!
Ah yes, I know what you mean, I might get annoyed with having to draw out the design again and again, too... we will see :D. I get why you would prefer a dated planner, but as of now I am really happy with my bujo :). Thank you so much for liking my stamps :). I use versa magic chalk ink and versa color pigment ink and I think they would work on hobonichi paper as well :D

hi, I was wondering if you could tell me where you got your stamps (if you bought them) or how you made them (if you made them).
Of course :). I made them myself, you can order them from my ETSY shop www.etsy.com/de/shop/palestblueshop if you are interested :). They are photopolymer-stamps which means that they are made from a material that hardens when you expose it to UV-light. I handdraw the designs and then I scan them to digitalize them and verctorize them and edit them digitally until I am happy with the end-result :)
Hello! I really really like your vid along with what you've done with your notebook! * o * May I please ask what pen you use for the Dec 2016 hobonichi challenge? It's sadly uncommon for me to ink (I use this semi glossy pen for inking, but I really don't think it'd work for this) so I don't know too much about any pens in general plus of decent quality- thanks in advance!!

palestblue all over. Haha. I spent most of my two years there in northern Germany, the furthest South I lived was in northern bayern in a little place called Hof. I spent six months each in Osnabrück and rendsburg (near Flensburg) and about 7 months in both Dresden and Bautzen, more time in Bautzen than Dresden. That was my favorite place to live. So rich in history and culture, it didn't seem to have been significantly changed by the ehemaligen DDR like most of the East.
I maybe someday I'll move back, but I really missed my family while out there, so who knows. Rendsburg definitely had the best döner, though, and I ate two or three a week in my hunt to find the best. Bautzen also had a good döner place. Phew. I miss döner.
DeZember is my month :) What does the text in the last row mean? What's my fascination with German...I think German people like to be really organized.
Though I am not super good at drawing, going to this method a try.

Where did you get the book darts you're using? They're very pretty and I love how sleek they seem. I'm currently using Oli clips and love them BUT they are so clunky and like to grab onto things
I bought them from www.thejournalshop.com and I think they still offer them :). Yes I totally understand, I used Oli clips before this and I like these super slim book darts a lot better :)

The bullet journal doesn't have a technical "system" they tell you that in the guide to setting it up that these are just recommendations and you don't have to follow them at all. Just do what you're comfortable with.
