Toffnm I don't think this is very minimal at all. Have you seen Ryder's video explaining bullet journaling as it was originally done? There really shouldn't be stress in it. It's a productivity tool. It's supposed to reduce stress.
I love how you experiment to find what works for you. That’s what it’s all about. That’s the reason I haven’t been able to stick to regular planners, because they didn’t work for my needs. Thanks for sharing.
This is lovely. Best thing about this video was you actually showed what worked and what didnt and where couldnt keep up with the spreads. Also that you didnt stress over making mistakes. Thats how it can be a productive tool. Thank you 😊
I love minimalist bullet journals. I watched video's of regular ones and I get claustrofobic just by looking at those video's, some people keep track of every single thing, it's only time- and energy consuming to keep track of those useless things. The one in this video is muuuuuuch better. It's not overwhelming by the shitload of text you have in the regular ones. I love this one! Simple, fast, you have a clear overview. Thank you for giving me ideas!
I love how you show your mistakes and were honest about all the sections that didn't work for you. I want to start this but it seems so overwhelming!! Thanks for being real about your process !
I found it extremely instructive for you to show what didn't work for you and all that was in the journal. It really helped me see what might work or not work for me. Thank you.
I love love love that you showed whatdidnt work. I keep getting stressed about future appointments and writing them in and having enough room for each month to write everything. And then having all the months mixed up with the information. But you’ve proved I need to be less ridged.
I've been wanting to start a bullet journal for a while but all the videos and pinterest boards I see are mostly filled with the really decorated pages and I got intimidated and overwhelmed by them. However, yours really settled my mind that it is really simple and to really try out what works so thank you so much for this!
this is my favorite bujo video so far. the simplicity of yours didn't rattle my anxiety like the others. i'm trying to declutter my mind, not overwhelm it.
with the gratitude log - i keep one but dont put in the dates ahead of time, no pressure to write in it everyday - only when you feel like it, or when you have that "wow, im so glad that..." moments ... and once that page is full start another
I feel like that would be so much more meaningful when you review it and Terry to use it to raise your vibration. Because you have feeling behind it instead of obligation to think of something to be grateful for.
I really liked seeing all the stuff that you found didn't work for you - good reminder that not every style works for everyone. I know I had to scale mine waaaaay back when I started bullet journalling - the fancy spreads were too much structure for me.
Starting my bujo today and I just found your video. Love it! I have been looking for true Minimalist ideas and yours are the best so far. I especially love that you share what didn't work. All the bujos I've seen so far are too fancy, perfect, and intimidating. Your style is clean, pretty and inspiring! Good job!
Hey! Thanks for this video! You were the first person I heard (after watching a whole bunch of videos) who acknowledged the fact that you just did trial and error to figure out what worked for you and what not. Very useful! A lot of other vloggers present their journal as if they just found this holy grail of working right of the bat. So thanks! O, and I love your accent ;)
thanks for walking me through your process, i am just getting started and I can see it will take a few trials to find what works for me. your video was just the right length and pace.
I like how simple your bullet journal is! Ik there’s a lot of bullet journals on instagram and on YT that do extravagant spreads or detailed decoration, but i like how you keep your bullet journal simple b/c that’s more practical for every day use. Nice video!
Wished I saw your video 2 weeks ago. It would have save me some good money. Lol because yeah Im shippin from very far away so I wanted to buy it all at once..and God..I did. And when I started doodling -training before my stuffs reach me- I realized that those pretty ones are time consuming.. as much as I loved it, I dont wanna spend a full hour during the week just laying out a spread. It is supposed to help being productive and not be overwhelming or chore-felt. Really nice BuJo..looks great and lovely. Life is simple.
I think this was the most useful bullet journaling video I've ever seen! I want to get into doing a BuJo but never had the courage to do it since I have tried many diaries before and quit within weeks or a month so you might have just helped me get into this practice! I love how clean you are and that you aren't afraid to experiment (I am, a little too much for my liking). I do wish you'd elaborate some more on the level 10 things you showed us and maybe do some 10-minute challenge on creating the templates and stuff (helps people like me to convince themselves to try and do it myself).
I just chanced upon ur channel. And oddly out of the many bullet journal videos I've watched, I love yours so much! Yours is the perfect definition of nothing is perfect! I love this!
This is so simple and beautiful! I am a fan of watching the fancy BoJu, but I may need to try something much more simple and reasonable like this. Beautiful!
my mom explained to me what a bullet journal was and then set me up with some videos. i really liked this video and found it helped me a lot. thanks so much!!!
+CharliMarieTV stay tuned I'm going to be doing a whole series on lettering as well as producing some free worksheets for people to practice along with! Really glad the video helped Xxx
KELANJO Will you please? I visit often to see if you have new content and haven't seen much and you're very inspiring. Hope to see you soon! Hellos from Massachusetts....Laura😃🌐📚✏
CharliMarieTV: Oops incorrect word, jealous. Envy vs Jealousy: Envy is the emotion of coveting what someone else can do, is doing, what they own, their capability, and the like. Jealousy is the emotion related to fear of something you have will be taken away by someone else as in the saying “the green eyes of jealousy “. Using the correct word does make a difference.
I love this! I tried bullet journaling back in January--I loved the concept but I spent so much time trying to make it beautiful that it really became unproductive so it kind of fell apart. I'm bought a new notebook literally today with the intention of giving it another go, and your video is certainly motivating me and give me some perspective that it doesn't have to be elaborate! Thanks for posting!
I love this! Honestly one of the best bullet journal videos I've watched... I liked how you showed us even the stuff that wasn't working, and explained why. Lots of food for thought. Plus, this sort of monochrome, simple, but still cute aesthetic is exactly what I want mine to look like! Although I'm thinking about a floral theme as well... maybe black and white line drawings of botanical things???
Ps I have just had a look at other followers comments and it seems like I am one of many who appreciate what you have done here. Keep it up girl there are a lot of us out here who need your advise.
Beautiful journal. I totally agree: it's NOT about perfection. : ) We all have to find what works best for us. Your handwriting is A+! Thanks for sharing.
i do like watching all the nice colourful bullet journals but i find them so time consuming and the original bullet journal was a way of keeping all event/thoughts/etc together and being easy and simple and i feel that when i first started out i was more focused on how it look and it was just so stressful that i didn't enjoy it . But now mine is simple and easy to use and it doesn't take me a whole sunday night to write it all out . I've customised it to myself but stuff with Ryders version more than the intricate ones we see now . Im not saying i don't like the other version i just personally do not have the time to do it otherwise i probably would haha as they're so pretty
Same, I've been thinking about starting one and all the fancy ones make it seem so intimidating and like a big time sink. Some of them aren't even really bullet journals anymore, which is fine, but it kinda defeats the purpose
As someone who's trying for to get in bullet journaling for the second time, this video was really helpful for me. I like the extensive colorful layouts, but I'm still a little but nervous about spacing and everything - so your minimalist setup really appeals to me, it's beautiful yet easy to set up. And seeing all of your trial and error gave me a bit of a confidence boost in just getting into it and trying out the journal =)
I'm thinking of starting my own bullet journal and it was nice to see all the things that didn't work for you. Makes me feel better about the experimentation that is probably coming ahead.
Love your handwriting! I like my planner, but I think about starting a bujo only for lists and stuff... I don't know yet, I tried bullet journalling and it didn't really wok out, but I still like how it looks when other people do it...
You are clearly talented, but I love the way you tried various styles and methods, only to come back to Ryder Carroll’s original method, simple and functional. Thanks for sharing!
Your calligraphy/lettering is absolutely beautiful!! That's something I struggle with a lot in my journal. I write fairly small and can't make bolder pens or larger writing work well. Thank you so much for this video :D I've been looking for minimalist inspiration! xx
Thank you for sharing this with us :) It's great to know that making the perfect bullet journal doesn't have to be a clear journey and it does take a lot of trial and error! Really useful and it does make me think that I might be able to do my own after all :)
No stress doing a minimalist journal when you have a handwriting like that, it'll look beautiful no matter what.
Toffnm I'm not sure if you do any stamping, but you can get calligraphy letter stamps that you can use.
Toffnm and
Toffnm I don't think this is very minimal at all. Have you seen Ryder's video explaining bullet journaling as it was originally done? There really shouldn't be stress in it. It's a productivity tool. It's supposed to reduce stress.
You mean your handwriting isn’t like that? Thought everyone could write like that!
LOVE how you're showing the ways that didn't work for you. Makes the process so much less intimidating! Super inspired: thanks!
I love how honest you are about not needing to make everything perfect!
I love how you experiment to find what works for you. That’s what it’s all about. That’s the reason I haven’t been able to stick to regular planners, because they didn’t work for my needs. Thanks for sharing.
One of the best setups I've seen! I loved that you went through what worked and what didn't and gave a lot of alternatives
This is lovely. Best thing about this video was you actually showed what worked and what didnt and where couldnt keep up with the spreads. Also that you didnt stress over making mistakes. Thats how it can be a productive tool.
Thank you 😊

Love these. Get so overwhelmed by some of the more ornate and colourful spreads. Your handwriting and calligraphy is amazing. Tfs
The most realistic bullet journal I've ever seen so far. No overwhelming stickers, drawings, etc. 👌
This is the best bullet journal I’ve seen! So simple and zero distractions.
I found it extremely instructive for you to show what didn't work for you and all that was in the journal. It really helped me see what might work or not work for me. Thank you.

Totally dig. I like how candid your approach was/is.
this is my favorite bujo video so far. the simplicity of yours didn't rattle my anxiety like the others. i'm trying to declutter my mind, not overwhelm it.
+legslikewhoa so pleased you liked it 😊
I'm just starting bullet journalling and really enjoyed the simplicity, but useful way your layouts are. Thank you.
Love that you're sharing your "imperfect" journal... makes me feel easier about starting
This is so gratifying to see that I am not the only one who tries to make something beautiful that just doesn't work for me. Great vlog!
Seeing the things you tried that didn't work really helped. Keeping it simple seems to be the way to go.
with the gratitude log - i keep one but dont put in the dates ahead of time, no pressure to write in it everyday - only when you feel like it, or when you have that "wow, im so glad that..." moments ... and once that page is full start another

Being best version of yourself has always been my goal ❤
This was perfect! Really like that you don't go overboard. I got a lot of nice simple and not-time-consuming ideas from this video. Thanks! :)
Love that you showed the pages that didn't really work for you too! Super helpful video! 😊
Thank you ! Love to see the progress over time ! Love the simplicity ! Starting mine as soon as I receive it in the mail.
I like how simple and easy you have the daily logs together with the day, month together and underneath the day of the week.
I love your weekly spread. For a guy, a minimalist BUJO is the way to go. I use the same method.
I really liked seeing all the stuff that you found didn't work for you - good reminder that not every style works for everyone. I know I had to scale mine waaaaay back when I started bullet journalling - the fancy spreads were too much structure for me.
I'm researching bullet journals and this is my favourite video I've watched so far! This minimalist style is right up my street!
This was so helpful. I'm glad I'm not the only one who is constantly changing the organization method of my bujo. Great accent!

Love that you aim to put more Hygge in your life! It's the best thing about Danish culture, and it's definitely worth spreading

I love the page of the currently reading and the bookshelf you drew, so cute!

This has been my favorite bullet journal video so far (and I've watched loads). It's so simple and definitely what I need.
I love your minimalist style, it's so simple and clean!

my mom explained to me what a bullet journal was and then set me up with some videos. i really liked this video and found it helped me a lot. thanks so much!!!
Love this as I was just the same. I started one as colourful and really really complicated!! Whereas now it's quite plain but I do use it a lot more.x

The best bullet journal I came across. Wish I had seen it a bit earlier.
I like how you split Sat/Sun ... think I will try the same this week.
'Girl On A Train' is brilliant, the book that is, a great read
Your journal is my absolute favourite! Please carry on with these videos :)
So happy to see a video from you!!
Loved this!!!!! Simple & functional yet beautiful ❤️ Fantastic!!

Wow!! So excited to see a video from you!! x
Love the minimal set up. This looks easy. Wants me make to start a bullet journal.
Your handwritten typography is beautiful! I really want to start a bullet journal now after seeing this!

Loved this! Excited to see what else you'll be posting xx
Although you used mainly black pen, your planner is still AMAZING!!! Love your calligraphy sooooooo much!!!! One of my favorite planner video
I absolutely love your calligraphy, it's beautiful. And thank you for sharing a different (and a lot less overwhelming) way of bullet journaling x
Beautiful journal. I totally agree: it's NOT about perfection. : ) We all have to find what works best for us. Your handwriting is A+! Thanks for sharing.

I think they're ridiculous, personally
What a gorgeous bullet journal. I love your style. I love your Pinterest boards too. I live in Baildon btw! Small world.
I'm thinking that this is my favorite minimalist bullet journal so far! I follow a few people but, gosh ! these pages are so beautiful.
That's exactly what I came to for my weekly spreads as well!
Wonderful!!! your bullet journal is perfect!!!

I really like this and your narrative. Thank you
Thanks so much Rosalyn Xx
Welcome back Kelly! I have missed your videos! Xx
You are clearly talented, but I love the way you tried various styles and methods, only to come back to Ryder Carroll’s original method, simple and functional. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for keeping this simple, too much design defeats the purpose to me of the BUJO
can't wait for your lettering tutorial! I love that pen, I have it too but I would love to use it like you do!
I love your journal! it is so simple yet artistic! I'm sooooo inspired to make one! I'm glad I watched your video!
+Arlene Pineda thanks so much 😊
I love your simple bujo!

i used to watch you ages ago- loved this!
best bullet journal video I've seen, love it! xx
Your calligraphy skills are phenomenal. Seriously - you could sell that as a font!
