That sure was a lot of pens. I could hear all the excitement in your voice for getting to play with all these goodies, as you started swatching/testing them... It was as if you were feeling better by the end of it, even though it may not have been the case. Hope you feel better soon. Thank you for doing this so meticulously .
Back in the day you could get crayons and glue etc at Woolworth's. If you wanted true art supplies like canvas, paints or pastels you went to an art supply store if you were in the city. If you lived in a smaller town you would go to an office supply store (most were privately owned). Most of them had a dedicated area to art supplies.
Yes that’s kind of what I thought!! I forgot about Woolworth’s but definitely office supply store or art store. I feel like there are soooo many more stores overall now than there used to be.
Hi Mary Ellen, Wow you hit the jackpot for pens. I have a few of the Mildliners. I have the pastel version with a pointed tip on one end and a brush tip on the other end. I have used the some of the lighter pastel colors in my Bible, but I did test the colors on the Notes page in the back before I actually used the pens in the rest of my Bible. Thanks so much for reviewing the pens. I hope you’re feeling much better very soon. Take care. Janet
Oh naming the clickart pens was so fun!!! I thought you were going retro at first so I thought tangerine was going to be Tang (remember that drink!) and then Taupe I thought was going to be coconut, Oh that was fun...and I am going to buy them!! Clicking your link now!
ClickArt has been my favorite for a few years now. Love love love them. They actually do have names but I had to look them up and your are much more exciting. I also love the Mildliners. I have one of the ballpoint pens which I use for the checklist stencil. I’m not crazy about the sarasa clips I gave them all to my kids. The squeaky part bothered me as well. It’s like they are kinda too scratchy. Thanks for this video! Also….the click arts and mildliners have a lot of colors that match almost exactly.
Loved the video Mary Ellen! Glad that a lot of those pens worked out for you! I love these kinds of videos...in fact, just the other day I made my first purchase of some of the Writech Brush Pens (I used your link of course💜) I'm not ditching my Tombow's, but I really liked the Writech Pens, so it's a win! I too Remember Grape Ape💜💜
I was a kid when you were a kid. In middle school my bff and I took the city bus to school together downtown. After school our bus stop was in front of a big 2 story stationery store. We missed the bus more than once browsing the pens and paper sets and folders and everything else. I still love markers and stickers. ❤😂
The Mildliners (10-pack) do have names. The neutral set: copper, beige, cream, cool gray, olive. The gentle set: soda blue, lilac, bzby pink, honey orange, sherbet yellow. I found the names on the barrel but it's so tiny!
The little girl in me loves this too. I have always loved writing and coloring, etc with our crayons and magic markers 😊😊 I think we got a lot of our drawing/art supplies from like Toys R Us.
This is an extremely useful video. There is a difference between being a hobbyist who is willing to put up with faffing about with writing supplies and being someone who needs reliable tools to use in peace. I belong to the second group, and out of all the items shown, only the pastel-coloured mildliners attracted my attention. They don't bleed through and would work well with my Jetstream pens. Everything else is either scratchy, or bleeds through, or smears, or some such thing. Huge thank you for making this video and saving me a lot of time and maybe money.
I just bought the Blen gel ink pens at Walgreens last night and holy moly they write so smoothly, they are super pigmented and really comfortable to write with! I'm a huge pen snob so... the Blen pens are awesome!
Ooh! I snagged that 60ct set of Doodlerz recently and love most of them! I found that the ones that skipped the worst had some air bubbles but if I shook them in a downward motion the ink settled properly and they were much better.
I've had the Kirarich highlighters for some time. I don't find myself reaching for them super often even though the colors and glitter are pretty. When I do use them, I put the color down first and then write over, otherwise they pretty much smear any pen I've tried with them. But tbh I do that with Tombows too lol I do like them for adding little sparkles around in my planner occasionally.
Magic Markers! Haven’t heart that in forever. We went to a store called American Handicrafts or a fabric store for craft stuff ... and then there was also TG&Y and Woolco.
You got me using the Pentel Energel back in the day and I just got the 20 colour 0.7 set which is so smooth and gorgeous! You would love them. When I did the pen test I also found out the happy notes paper is totally different to the planner paper which I never knew either! 😮 Loved your pen names. Thanks for the honest review. 👍
So glad for this video. I have experimented with a variety of pens and my favorites are the Papermate Flair, but I am going to try the. Zebra Clickart-especially since they don't smear and appear to possibly be comfortable and smooth. Thanks for sharing.
Magic marker was a brand. I am a few years older than you & now thinking back I’m not sure where I got my art supplies? I’m thinking at the office supply and/department stores in the area. And yes I remember grape ape 😉
❤Hi, my name is Dawn and I'm a pen addict! I love Zebra pens.I have most of these. The doodlerz are my least favorite, mainly because I struggle to get the lids on and off. My grandkids love them though. Ty for sharing all the different pens. Clickarts are great! Have a great day!😊 I wish they did name the colours.
TFS. Great examples of how we're all different. You don't like leaving your pens in their packaging. I get anxiety having them all loose out of packaging or pen holders. The sensory experience... Hope you feel better soon 🙂
Whoa so many goodies! I think the Mildliners should have the name of the colors on the barrel, it's super tiny on the highlighter side adjacent to the barcode
Thanks for this video. It was nice to see all the differences in the pens and markers and get your honest opinions. I’m saving this for future reference. Btw, Zebra should totally hire you to name their colors. Also, I remember Grape Ape. Lol 💜💜💜
I found my favorite pen from you: Pentel Energel needle tip so I appreciate your reviews. I could never get into zebra pens even with gorgeous colors. They all seem to scratchy to me.
Watching and thanking you for suggesting Freida McFadden for fun thriller books. I devoured her Housemaid duology this week and can’t wait to read more of her stuff! So thank you! Love all that you do for us :)
@@tracybeasley6682 she’s so fun and are easy reads. I started book 2 of Housemaid last night and finished it today. I couldn’t put it down! I’m gonna download another book tonight. I love Kindle Unlimited!
Your not the last one to get the zebra 🦓 pens 🖊️. I don’t have them yet. Lol 😆 but I’m excited 😆 to see them. I love 💕 that you showed me the zebra 🦓 midliner pens 🖊️. I really like them.
The metallic's are good for the black paper, not the neon ones, since neon pens are more like for highlights and that means they're somewhat kind of semi-translucent😅
I am your age and I really can't remember having a big craft/art store to go to. Of course it could just have been that my Mom would never have spent that kind of money. Lol. We were probably considering "upper class" but definitely not rich. Heck I was over 26 and married before anyone told me you did not have to mix chocolate milk with white milk. Can you tell my Mom's parents were depression kids? But short answer I don't recall stores like we have now.
Also, I hate those wax tips they put on pens now, those little red ball thingies….lol I bought those cool Writech pens you reviewed the other day and some of them were like trying to take a lid off of a jar that’s stuck LOL
The zebra 🦓 ones that write ✍🏻 on the black paper 📝 I definitely want to get. Lol 😆 Bumble seems to be extremely opinionated this morning. Haha 😂. It’s not just my kids 🐕🦺🦮🐶. Who get loud.
I’ve had a little better luck with Gelly Roll and Pentel Sparkle Pop with no squeaking, and only the occasional dud (that can’t be revived from various reviving techniques.) Pilot Uniball Signo 1.0 are fantastic for metallic, so juicy and they show on black pen (so do the Pentel and some of the Gelly Roll.)
Wow really? I still would call them markers! Lol 😆 guess we’re the same age. Bumble you are adorable 🥰. But I’m with your mommy right now. I’m in a marker mood to sweet puppy 🐶 poo go play with a toy 🧸 in the hall or something. Lol 😆 I said that on my voice to text and my Magnus 🐕🦺 (Newfoundland puppy) snarfed at me and went and laid in the hallway as if to say fine mom 👩🏻 just be that way! Lol 😆
Love your naming skills! Made my day!

I miss Woolworth😢

I think the little tips on the click arts are to help keep from drying out

YES, my 10 year old self would have gone crazy over all those pens too!!
I have used the ballpoint pens from Zebra for years . I didn’t know Zebra had fun pens! So this was a great video for me to see so many. Thanks.
Thanks for doing this video. I think I might be trying out a set of the Clickart pens. And, I came close to getting a couple of those color names. 😃

I haven’t used that pen in a long time but maybe I should try the colored set. I clearly have a problem 🤣
I love the Sarasa pens!
What fun.. im a huge pen lover as well. Thank you for this video
When I was a kid and needed art supplies we went to office supply stores, TG&Y or Ben Franklin.
I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Zebra pens! They are my go-to pen brand. Hope you feel better soon :)
Yep, me too! The vintage colours are so lovely.
So glad for this video. I have experimented with a variety of pens and my favorites are the Papermate Flair, but I am going to try the. Zebra Clickart-especially since they don't smear and appear to possibly be comfortable and smooth. Thanks for sharing.
The Clickarts come 48 colors! 😍 I have 36 and am planning to get the remaining pastel set.

I had trouble with the lids too! I cut that part out of the video for time’s sake!
Great video, thank you! I guessed right on the "Sunflower" marker name 😊
Great job! 😆
I recently bought the Click Art pens after seeing posts from Go Wild. I love them. They write so smooth and don't bleed through.😊❤
TFS. Great examples of how we're all different. You don't like leaving your pens in their packaging. I get anxiety having them all loose out of packaging or pen holders. The sensory experience...

Thanks for comparing all of the different pens. We sure received a lot of pens at Go Wild!!
Whoa so many goodies! I think the Mildliners should have the name of the colors on the barrel, it's super tiny on the highlighter side adjacent to the barcode
Omgggg I did not know the colors were even on there! I see them now! 🔎
@@PlanningwithBumble it's ridiculously tiny, printed for ants 🙈 but honestly you naming of the colors is so much more fun 😊

I really really wanted to like Sarasa Mark On pen. I couldn’t get over the skipping and scratchiness. I freaking love the Clickart markers.

Yes to Magic Markers!
The Mildliner highlighter colors are named, its just printed very small on the markers
Yep, found that out, I didn’t know it!
Ive been using clickart for over a year. I love them
So glad you did the bleed test on the planner paper. My biggest worry.
The Mark On writes on washi also
do you put those black ends back on pens ??????fire engine red color

Magic markers yes!!!
I did not sit at the Zebra table. (I sat at a Planything table and loved it!) But somehow I still ended up with a lot of Zebra pens from Go Wild.❤

I didn’t know that about Mildliner.thanks
sometimes the companies put wax on the ends. If you heat the pens slightly they will work better.
I’m 42. I remember my mom buying me art supplies at the grocery store.
