This version is fucking VICIOUS
👍😂🎸🎖️💥
Hell yeah it is!! Hell yeah man hell yeah!!! Vicious!! I thought that was Carl Palmer going insane on drums but after listening closely I realized it was Mitch Mitchell. Then I was reminded its Buddy Miles. Then I knew it couldn't have been Tommy Lee. RIP Buddy Miles...
@@veteranaffiliate buddy miles on drums
@@JamesBurhell yeah man hell yeah! Buddy was rockin that drum set like a mother fu$%er!!! Buddy played a mean lefty guitar upside down too. Freaking rockin!!
I've tried moving on to other music but I keep coming back to Hendrix.
try the 70' miles davis live concerts
Try finkadelic
Why would you? Jimi is the summit.
How can you move on? The music Jimi was about to make in the early and mid 70s was pulled from underneath this world. So we have nothing to move into. But seriously, I was a huge Rush fan back in the day. I still love them. But I never find myself pulling up any of their tunes anymore. I just listen to Hendrix
Allready tried Justin Bieber🤓
Jimi never plays a song the same way twice. He speaks straight from the heart!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@homoerectus744 I actually feel bad for no I think he was just really jealous as a guitar player and he was in a difficult position actually feel bad for now I think he was just really jealous if a guitar player and he was in a difficult position but Billy Cox is incredible
@@The666Miraculix G'Day from rural South Oz...I am 60 in a few weeks and my older sister put me onto Jimi in the very early 70's...we had stickers or decals in black or bright alluminus colours on our pushbikes...Electric Ladyland ...Band of Gypsy's or Crash Landings Captain Coconut are all brilliant...and I had around 17 vinys of Jimi and i know he only did a few post but ..."so if 6 turned out to be 9...I dont mind"...still listening today
That's no one but
Billy Cox.
That's Billy Cox on bass
and Buddy Miles
on drums.
It all started with Jimi Hendrix with two English
musicians, Noel Redding and John "Mitch" Mitchell.
Peter Townshend from the Who said the first time he saw Jimi Hendrix play he stood there with his mouth open thinking that a space ship must have landed and dropped him off with a guitar, he was in complete amazement.
That’s awesome!
He said when jimi started to play him & eric clapton held each others hands
@Laffy Taffy revisionist will have a book in the Biblica inserted ( for those who believe)..younger generations wouldn't know any difference. By the way are you related to Wavy Gravy?

@@farnamrohani9425 Mr. you are right that's one of the best comments it means a lot of thoughts good 🌞 reason God bless.
That solo is just totaly primal insane
He was the best, he is the best and he'll always be the best. No one came or comes remotely close. His solo in this track is just not human.
This version puts me in a sort of trance. Its a healing cosmic wave if sound.
Pretty profound stuff poophead buttface

From the forthcoming 5cd/8Lp box set due on the 22nd November
silky Robinson studio version of Purple Haze cured my long term depression after listening to it high on weed. No joke.
Jimi is permanently rearranging my brain half way through this song.
The solo on this is so incredibly awesome and for so many reasons... it's almost disturbing.
It’s offensively brilliant. So good it’s intimidating. Hendrix is an alien. He’s the best ever.
His playing was really on fire at this point of his career
Word and then some !!
One of the best versions of Foxey Lady.
The best that I've heard with possible exception of Miami Pop version
@@deacontheseer4804 I’ll second the Miami Pops version…..totally killer
I Believe this is the most Highly Evolved Version !! It definitely edges out Miami !!!...
FLY ON ☮️💜🇺🇸🎸🐐👽
THIS DEFINITELY THE BEST VERSION OF THIS SONG. THE GROOVE IS FUNKIER, THANKS TO BUDDY MILES' DRUMMING.BILLY COX LAYING DOWN A SERIOUS GROOVE. THANKS FOR POSTING THIS.
A true force of nature. No-one can do it like Jimi.
He is so free on his instrument. Its almost as he was born to play electric guitar, he knows its quintessence. The sound is litteraly electric. The solo is a perfect example of a distorted guitar..
The greatest rock and roll song of all time.
Every guy trying to impress the neighbor girl across the street from childhood until this day feels this song eventually. Garth in Wayne's World is 100% into the vibe. Careful. Her target of affections may be into the dumb guy with the 6-pack abs who can bench press over 250 pounds.
theres nothing like coming across a jimi hendrix tune in a version you never heard i mean, this blows my mind!!! THANKS JIMI RIP
Well said. Proto funkadelic vintage from sweet cosmic grapes that help you Feelmore Eastern in your earholes.
IF ANYONE QUESTIONs WHY JIMI IS THE GREATEST GUITARIST OF ALL TIME AND ALWAYS WILL BE , JUST LISTEN TO THIS AUDIO AND YOU WILL KNOW !!!!!! I HAVE BEEN LISTENING TO JIMI HENDRIX FOR 50 YEARS OR MORE,AND HE STILL BLOWs MY MIND
Yeah...I got blown...AGAIN 😎
As wild as Jimi ever got! A Foxy Lady for the ages!
The master of the Strat
The groove on this version is THICK. And Jimi's solo is just out of this world.
wow that solo was out of sight!!!
RebelThoughts82 groovy
Hendrix, Cox and Miles. Jazz, Funk, Blues, Folk, Classical, R&B, Bluegrass, Hip-Hop all rolled into a musical joint. A joint that has hit and passed for close to fifty years. Damn!!!!!!
Damn right man!
Man this is so damn wild unbelievable.
He really is from another world or dimensions i just can't explain it.
The guitar is really screaming....the genius of this man.. rest on ....
THE greatest rendition of Foxey Lady
Miami Pop Festival ✌
98izzark that’s a good one too. I love the Isle of Wight version, A total mess with walkie talkie messages blaring through Jimi’s amps. But this version here is just relentless
@@98izzark69 visually....
@@homoerectus744 nah
@@98izzark69 I CAN see a lot from that performance why many value it, especially how he closed it.Noel was thumping it out too,and looking rather fly.
If you listen close, you can hear him tuning the guitar while he is playing it. Jimi, the best guitarist, EVER.
Hendrix. ... The best of the World!!!.🎸🎸🎸
The ending section is absolutely NUTS, totally perfect
Jimi is absolutely and truly a ROCK
GOD. The universe is still tuned in Jimi!!!
He's not a "ROCK GOD" the same as he's NOT a rock musician. You need to get a musical education, cloth ears.
Just when you think you’ve heard Hendrix do it all he surprises yet again! That solo is simply incredible...
Jimi's music takes us to another world and to another era
Time, place, mood affects music so no point comparing versions of the song or bands as to which is better. Jimi is creating music in real time. Not just playing music. Really an amazing Rock-Funk-Soul-R&B version. And the crowd wanted more. Did they get it??
Please, release Jimi Hendrix live at Royal Albert Hall on Blu-Ray. The world deserves to experience one of the best performances in rock history.
Aldo Ugarte Cabrera And on dvd.
@Maurice And on double CD.
@Muzaffar Krylov Surely you mean Stone free. That was beyond otherwordly.
@Muzaffar Krylov I was at the show on Monday. They did not include hear my train, sunshine or bleeding heart

"Thank-you very much and goodnight"......Whoooeww!
I can never get enough of his artistry, musicianship and pure mastery of the guitar. Thank you Jimi!
Yes, he was an artist.

Es verdad. A mi me pasa algo similar. Nunca me canso de Jimi.
When Billy, Buddy & Jimi got together it was an awesomely perfect moxtureof Funk & Soul.
Thank U Dad.
He is the gnarliest player ever...
Jeeeez, they should put a warning label on that solo. "Will transport you to another dimension". That was ferocious.
Miss this man everyday!! His music never gets old!! ✊🔥
Definitely the best performance of this song and live sound source. Crazy.
That guitar needed a cigerette once jimi was done performing.
Lol best comment ever Bro!
More like a Cuban cigar
More like recovery. It was broken :')
Ahahahaahah yess bro exactly you are a poet! becouse just the poet with this methapore can afford the real aspect of the life that is impossible express with our words!
More like a restraining order he beat it so hard😂
52 Years ago ,and still the best

jesus I've heard this song a million times, but never like this. What a face-melting jam. I go back and forth on Buddy Miles's effectiveness as Jimi's drummer but he undeniably elevated some songs, and this is one of them.
Jimmy H - I hear ya man. There are sometimes i with Mitch played more straight ahead and powerful like Buddy Miles, but overall they both filled their role and it is what it is.
This guitar playing is absolutely SICK!!!!
Brutal
this is probably best version of foxey lady, ever, including every of his sessions and other covers
Jimi Hendrix sounds still live with us today,as vibrant as ever.
Every session Jimi is fire ,lightning, water and earth metal, wood .God bless our brother who fought the good fight. You are not forgotten love always Chris Carroll
BLOOD BLACK GOLD...!!! JIMI THE PREACHER OF THE NEW EARTH BLUES!!!!
Usshhh... that guitarsolo is spectaculair. Bizar.. Pure beauty and madness
Finally all 4 shows are out in their entirety! If you dig this then buy the set, you will not regret it. BOG is his best work IMO.
Damn, some of his best playing, that whammy bar the solo and ending was awesome
Jimi Hendrix sempre espetacular.
Jimi flying high and fast wow the guitar tone is amazing.
Could you imagine having this kind of talent ?
thought the MAY 68 Miami and OCT 68 Winterland versions were great. But this is right up there with them !!!! Different; Excellent !!!
Que manera tan hermosa de tocar la guitarra, totalmente espontaneo y salvaje.
Simplemente hendrix, EL MEJOR GUITARRISTA DE TODOS LOS TIEMPOS.
MY FAVORITE JIMI STUFF IS WITH BAND OF GYPSYS!
Yes they were the tightest!
Agreed. More grooves and funkiness with Billy Cox and Buddy Miles.
Whoever made comments on Billy Cox's bass playing,
does not know what they are talking about.
Have you heard of James
Jamerson?
@@toneyisaiah408 Ah..you are off the topic. We are not talking about bass LEGENDS. We are talking about the best bassist Jimi played with. I don't think James Jamerson played with Jimi or at least they never recorded together. So as bassists like Anthony Jackson, Marcus Miller, Chuck Rainey, Bob Babbitt, Rocco, Jaco, Nathan East, Wille Weeks, Alphonso Johnson, Geddy Lee, Lee Sklar, Chris Squire and so on.
4:02-4:22 does it for me!
I love the awesome bass lines and its flageolets too
I am loving this version, a sound like this from the second set is simply awesome
Still miss Jimi and his music so hearing this is a real treat.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS VERSION THANKS!
this is so astounding this is up here, the sound quality is so good, grateful!
Dang!! Jimi you STILL amaze me., never ever heard this version and the ending to it,is equally amazing and surprising. Play on,Rock on Jimi you always were and are da ding dangiest Best Man!! ha!!
I’m so happy they are going back and releasing Jimi’s live performances! Every song had a totally different sound and approach every time he played live 🎸
Best version of this song! Just found it. Thank you!
Jimi still blowing the old paradigms apart! ..... God love him up!

This version puts me in a sort of trance. Its a healing cosmic wave if sound.
I was first listening to the guitar, enjoying the groove and suddenly the impact of the drumming caught my ear , good ol' cement mixer was well on its way !!!
"Aye"...Killer Performance by the Master!!! Cheers from New York!!
Wow, this was my first time ever hearing this version!! Proves great music and Jimi Hendrix are timeless!!!
THE HEAVYWEIGHT JIMI IN HIS PUREST FORM!!! POWER TO SOUL!! GOD BLESS HIM.
Man that is smokin best version of foxy lady I've heard!
What amazes us all are the sounds and melodies Jimi produces on his instrument. Jimi has excellent timing and when everything is in sync the music sounds so pure. The remastered versions sounds kind of remastered.
I was thirteen in '69. I was just too young to have a chance to see him "LIVE". What an amazing guitar player! Simply the best!
#JimiHendrixForever !!
Great playing song from JIMI
Thank you for sharing GR.LOES!
One of the best shows ever. Some old friends of mine managed to get me someones original bootleg from this show, I had it converted to dvd

it's especially wonderful that we are going to be treated to all 4 shows in their entirety.. 50 years ago, man, what a trip.
Love this awesome song by Jimmy Hendrix
Both live versions of Foxy Lady by the Band Of Gypsys are just heavy as fck.

@@niceguy2171 Quite possibly, I claim no credit for it. I've seen it before and it definitely stuck with me..it's an awesome thought and if it's yours, I like the way you think 😊
My love Mitch's drumming, but it's awesome hearing buddy's influence on the songs. There's definitely funk and groove.
I think Buddy Miles with Billy Cox were a tight rhythm section that helped Jimi a lot.
@Zizzi's Genetics Noel was alright for the time but wasn't a bonafide bassist and obviously he didn't have the funk. Btw Kenny Blackbird's Pisces Gold loves Jimi Hendrix!!!
Crank it up!
If you don't like it, find something else to listen to.
Love it!!🎶🎸
About bloody time these gigs were issued! A fascinating experiment with a different sound and style.
A very funky Foxey Lady!
