Him and CJ should be CO OROY. I don’t see how either one can get snubbed. Puka literally broke half a dozen plus receiver records, literally the best rookie receiver ever. But CJ has also been a monster and broke several records too. Go rams!

Literally the greatest rookie WR season ever. He’s an absolute beast after the catch. He accelerates violently and it takes everything defenders have to take him down.

My boys and I met Puka after one of his BYU games. He literally circled the entire stadium while giving autographs, high fives, taking pictures, etc. Most of the other players were gone, yet there was Puka still circling reaching out to everyone still wanting a piece of him.

As he passed us again on his way to the exit I called out to him. Having missed the earlier picture op earlier I asked if we could get one. Although tired and ready to leave, Puka immediately ran over flashing that Nacua smile, He even took the selfie while leaning back between us. It wasn't just snap and run either, He honestly seemed to be enjoying himself, as he snapped several shots, high-fived everyone again, and no doubt would have signed more stuff if we had asked. Even when BYU staff tried to hurry him along, Puka would have none of it. I am sure he didn't leave till he was satisfied that all of his fans had gotten some of his attention.
He is a class act and carries himself with grace and dignity. We are so proud of him and his accomplishments. So grateful that he chose to be a part of our BYU Cougars! I've met Steve Young, Robbie Boscoe, Ty Detmer, Vai Sikahema, Bellini, Kozlowski, Knight, Elewanibi, Sitaki, Bushman, a bunch of Kafusi's, and many other BYU players, but none were quite as kind, pleasant and charming as Puka. Well they were all nice. Sitaki is cool, Ty was nice, and one of the Kafusi boys even let my son hold his helmet. How cool is that! Puka just has a certain flair, a kind of playful enthusiasm that lifts you up.
After the season he has had, I don't know how he can't win ROOKIE of the Year. The scary thing is, how many more yards, catches, and TD's would Puka have had if Kupp hadn't come back when he did? LOTS I imagine.
So sad the Rams didn't go for it on 4th down. My heart says they would have beat the Lions if they had. Great season anyway! Sam La Porta and CJ are awesome too, but Puka's record breaking year, especially considering his late draft pick should carry the day. PUKA NACUA: ROOKIE OF THE YEAR!!!!

I've never been a Rams fan but when they picked Puka and gave him a chance to play, I had to watch. By the end of the season, I'm a huge Rams fan. I just hope Puka stays healthy and strong because we need another great football season.

the evolution of puka nacua's skills and game over the course of his rookie season looks like evolution of a solid nfl receivers career. dude was a beast from the get go, but by the end of the year, his understanding of movement in space and physicality has him looking like a bona fide NFL all pro. every circus catch he makes this season was better than the last. truly special

Will someone please make a 30 for 30-like documentary about this guy? His story has to be told starting with his Samoan-Hawaiian ancestry, his father’s influence and death when Puka was 10, youngest of 4 brothers, disappointment at Washington, joining Samson and triumph at BYU, drafted 5th round because doubts about speed, emotional prep thinking about his dad before every game, unexpected beast all season, his humility and fun loving style, climax with breaking rookie receiving records, going to playoffs and pro bowl selection. There’s the story. Now someone go make that into a documentary please! Puka! Puka!

What a mind boggling rookie season from a mid-round WR. The Stafford trade was so worth it, best trade ever in Rams history.

The real "it" factor for Puka is the amount of ball control he has, especially in tough situations. The amount of contested catches and the amount of fumbles is crazy to me. Next season is gonna be crazy, lets beat the 9ers for the division

Puka is a beast. He makes every play he is involved in exciting. The same things we would say about Kupp in 2021, but Kupp was a bit more elusive and Puka more physical.

Yes he had a great season, but it has to say something about Stafford. Almost every team he has been on he has elevated a guy to the next level.
