I cleared a half-acre of brush and saplings with my Mini Mac CP without missing a beat. Found it outside in a junk pile, paid $5 and reno'd it with a good used coil and new carb kit. Love that little saw!

What a show Buckin! It's the little things in life right!.... the jam sessions, the banter, being in the woods, working with your Dad, and today the little mac - flood of memories brother. While eating dinner watchin the show, I remembered - that's the first saw I ever ran!.. heck, my Dad was a McCulloch dealer lol, rest his soul. He loved to cut some firewood - guess I got that from him. That saw's in the garage and I gotta fire it up now. Thanks for that Buckin! Rock on.. love the channel.

Went rabbit hunting a few years ago and found a PowerMac 6 in a ditch behind an abandoned farm. Picked it up and carried it all day to bring it home Everyone thought I was nuts and could never get it running. Totally impressed my wife when I used it to cut up some limbs about a month later. Great little saw!

Hey! I have one of those little yellow saws, it did a lot of tree work in its day. A dear friend gave it to me, he's long retired and didn't know if it still run, it doesn't, bad air leak. It sits proudly on display on my patio. It makes a great conversation piece. Its great to see one still running and working!

That little saw sounded beautiful. I really like the way those older saws sang. They were so MANLY! Mind you that was the way saws were supposed to sound when I was a little kid looking at it from a little kids perspective.....Now I'm almost 6 decades in and I love to hear a saw working. And it's really neat to hear 2 harmonizing.
I have a OLD little mini mac. has like a 10 or 12" bar on it with a baby chain. cuts great! little ripper. loud! My wife's stepmother gave it too me. sat for yrs luckily with no fuel in it. fuel and oil and fired right up! These videos make me want to go home and cut! Keep up the awesome work!
I got Mac Eagerbeaver 2.0 and fell in love. A good flat file chain and it'll run almost as good as my Jonesered 2255, so I got me a Mac1-43 and a PowerMac6. Those Macs are awesome and I love the sound of a pre-emission saw

When you say running too fat what does that mean? Too rich/lean. It sounded like a cleaner throttle response before you tuned it plus I'd never do it up a tree. I'd do it on the ground.

Got to agree with the safety gear choice, excellent yellow head bucket and ear protection, AND a great set of eyeball protectors. Gotta have it when tearing off old bark in your face. The only thing missing was dust mask, elbow pads, knee pads, shoulder pads (for those falling branches) and one of these days we'll see Buckin gloves...

This dude is fearless as they come. This stuff is dangerous when you’re dangling from a rope 30’ off the ground. Most ppl would wanna use the newest lightest whatever they can afford but not this guy. Nope. Let’s try out some 50 year old classic stuff and do shit the hard way. LoL it’s like nothing gets this guy down. I gotta be honest I split all my firewood for camp last season by hand. And I was thinking of this guy when I was working on it. I got it done ridiculously early. Earlier than I had anticipated that’s for sure. My grandfather thought I was losing it lol cuz we have a machine.
In 1969 I took out a four and a half foot scrub oak on the Spanaway ( Tacoma area ) prarie with a Cox Beaver with 16 inch bar and a ax. What a job. Made up 2000 lbs of unbelievable wood.
I was shocked to see this saw being used when I was checking for newest videos! I have a PM 6a and out of all my 30cc McCullochs it’s my favourite! Keep up the good work Buckin’

Got to agree with the safety gear choice, excellent yellow head bucket and ear protection, AND a great set of eyeball protectors. Gotta have it when tearing off old bark in your face. The only thing missing was dust mask, elbow pads, knee pads, shoulder pads (for those falling branches) and one of these days we'll see Buckin gloves...

This dude is fearless as they come. This stuff is dangerous when you’re dangling from a rope 30’ off the ground. Most ppl would wanna use the newest lightest whatever they can afford but not this guy. Nope. Let’s try out some 50 year old classic stuff and do shit the hard way. I got it done ridiculously early. Earlier than I had anticipated that’s for sure. My grandfather thought I was losing it lol cuz we have a machine.

In 1969 I took out a four and a half foot scrub oak on the Spanaway ( Tacoma area ) prarie with a Cox Beaver with 16 inch bar and a ax. What a job. Made up 2000 lbs of unbelievable wood.
