I don’t know what this says about me, but I’ve already watched all but one of these creepy crawly films on your countdown, Dr. Gangrene. I grew up watching these kinds of movies on a B&W TV in the 1960s, so I still have a preference for 1950s monster flicks. My favorite film of your 2023 Halloween Creepy Crawlies Countdown so far has been “The Deadly Mantis.” However, “Tremors” is a pretty close second place and a more modern monster movie that has that classic 50s vibe than most. I’m still hoping you have “Them” in your pumpkin, because that is still one of the best giant bug movies of all time!
I randomly turned this own years ago right when Gunner grabbed the chainsaw and had a blast with it. Now I need to watch the whole thing. Great word of advice from Gunner at the end! 😂
I came across this on a late-night movie years ago and couldn't not watch. It reminded me of classic '50s monster movies and if they had filmed it in black and white, and maybe stressed the acting a little more, 'Mosquito' could have turned into an award-winning film. Well, maybe not. Anyway, it was fun. Thanks again, Doc!
Comedy/horror is one of my favorite genres. The Japanese are good at the genre. They are so over the top, like Jerry Lewis on steroids. I suggested the genre but I dont think I was the only one. I havent seen most of the movies so far thats on the list (plan to!) but I think Tremers will be hard to beat as my favorite so far. And yea, todays movie is another one I havent seen ;)
I have Gunnar's autograph on a Leatherface photo! I saw Mosquito years ago and was alternately grossed out and laughing. However, I grew up on South Texas, and don't be so sure those mosquitoes don't actually exist down there ☠☠☠☠☠☠
Always appreciate the use of practical effects. The cheesy animation adds to the nostalgic charm. Thanks, Dr. Gangrene🦟🦟🦟

This is a must watch for me. I already know I'll like it. This will probably be my favorite so far because Gunnar is in it. 🎃
I was hoping to see this one on the Countdown

This is one I've been wanting to check out for awhile now too. It looks like a lot of fun. Happy Halloween! ✨🎃✨
Perfect breakfast viewings for the nightcrawling late-riser! Thank you! (The clock is 13 here in northern Europe.)
Words to live by from Gunnar Hansen...yep, this one is going on the watchlist too!
