In this video, we'll learn how to represent organic structures in Bond Line notation. Gone are the days of drawing out structures like CH3-CH2-CH2-OH. It may seem silly to have a dedicated video for this topic, but I think (especially in the early part of your organic career), it can't hurt to walk through it to make sure you have it down.

Beautiful, but my Question is: Do you read the Bond Line Structure from Right to left or from left to right?
Hi Marquis! The answer is it doesn’t matter how you read the structure. As long as the correct atoms are included + the proper atoms are connected given whatever you’re trying to represent in bond line, you’re good to go
