Thank you for the video. Good clean straight forward.👍
The ag drones are the ones that will lead the way in the real world use of Drones ... not the Last mile or even the BVLOS ...all that in its own time... long way to go there. But yes Ag applications is where everything will happen for Automated Vehicles ...Air, Land and even Water. CHEERS

Thanks for your positive comments - Yes, the ag sector along with forestry are crying out for this tech. I'm at the LAMMA exhibition tomorrow and Wednesday so we'll see what people say on the ground!

Do you see a widespread application for these? I’d struggle with water rates on a fungicide wheat application surely?

Hi Will, thanks for your question.
Actually, it's all the farmers and contractors that see the applications. Particularly those with wet and hilly terrain.
These aren't designed to replace your 24m or 36m boom sprayer for flat fields but will allow farmers to treat areas that were previously inaccessible or are just too wet.
At LAMMA this week we had a steady flow of agricultural contractors enquiring and placing orders so they must see a future for this.
In each of the 50 other countries that have allowed drone spraying, there is a flourishing sector.
Last point on water rates. Yes, we'd love to use lower rates but need to stick to the application guide lines on the bottle. Fortunately, most the big chemical manufactures are working on low water rate formulations, specifically for the drone market.

What is your emergency plan in case of remote control failure? As I understand it doesn’t RTH on loss of remote control signal.

You're right, this is all about safety. Our Operational Safety Case details all our safety mitigations and has been in development for the last year.
Now we're looking forward to seeing the drones in action across the UK.
